About the Underworld
The Underworld is the all-new home of all varieties of formal and casual roleplays for underworld characters; from thieves to smugglers to bounty hunters, your fame and fortune in the Underworld awaits you.
Choose from nine different classes and begin your journey in the Underworld by joining a gang, crew, syndicate, or other group. Vie for control over hyperlanes and planets against rival enterprises, search for hidden treasure, pirate valuable goods, or hunt down the most elusive, lucrative bounties. Gamble with the best, or die as the worst.
Even in the Underworld there is hierarchy. At its pinnacle sits Her Eminence of Gilt and Guile, Ruler of the Underworld and Boss of the Golden Rose Syndicate, Pirate Queen Jephego Rose (@corinthia). When you first join the Underworld, you join as the lowest of the low, and receive the rank of "Rookie". Join a criminal enterprise to become a "Recruit"; after that, you follow your primary group's hierarchy.
To grow your reputation and level up, you must impress the leader of any criminal enterprise; they will award you reputation levels for your stellar service or impressive feats (though all reputation gains are monitored by the preeminent Ruler of the Underworld). For each level of Reputation you possess, you also receive one class point that can be spent on class-related feats. Expend your class points to gain advantages, but be careful! Once you expend a point, it is never gained back. The Underworld is full of dangers, and once your luck runs out… so does your time.

How to Participate
There are many ways to participate in the Underworld; from sparring and training to heists and more, any kind of roleplay is welcome. A good place to start is The Blaster's Path, the Underworld's home base cantina. To participate, you must have a CS posted in the Underworld Registry.
Any Underworld member can start a new RP; RPs can be prefixed as either "Casual" or "Formal", based on the level of detail, formality, and pace you want your roleplay to have. Roleplays in the Underworld must address some form of underworld activity. Underworld characters are also encouraged to venture into the Galaxy at large and participate in outside cantinas and other faction roleplays (if invited!).
Forming a Criminal Enterprise
Criminal enterprises are the foundation of the Underworld; to succeed here, you must align yourself with one or more enterprises. Once you reach Reputation 6, you may form a criminal enterprise of your own. An enterprise can be any of the following organizations: pirate crew, gang, cartel, crime family, guild, syndicate, enforcement agency, slave ring, gambling ring, information network, etc. To join a criminal enterprise, reply to their thread in the Underworld subforum, stating your interest.

Rank names in the Underworld vary from enterprise to enterprise, but these are the standard rank brackets every group must follow. Bolded rank names are the same across the board.
