About the Hesperians
There are Sith who are sorcerers, manipulating alchemy and Sith magic and studying history and lore to further their power; there are Sith who are assassins, inscrutable and stealthy, slipping unseen and unheard ever closer towards ultimate victory. And, of course, there are the warriors: indomitable and strong, the symbol of martial power that so many have come to associate with what it means to be Sith. That iconic red blade, held aloft in malice and determination, sundering all who would thwart ambition.

But then there are Sith who do not neatly fit into these three categories: Sith who are unwavering in their faith in the Dark Side. Sith who are believers, diviners, philosophers, and theologians… yet still Sith who hold that crimson blade aloft. Priests, paladins, oracles, witches, holy knights, and mystics. Sith who wield the Dark Side as a weapon, who are devoted and follow the Dark Side as a guide, and who look to the High Priestess as a symbol of dark piety and power.

These are the Hesperians.

History
The founding of the Hesperians remains somewhat shrouded in mystery—a recluse and esoteric Sith, High Priestess Hesper likely built the Hesperians with the desire to form a lasting assemblage of like-minded Sith. Following a whirlwind war that left Darth Hesper blind in one eye and anointed with the gift to see into the future, she began her quest to build her following and claim her throne worlds, becoming a symbol of devotion and dark power…

There wasn't a single doubt in the mind of Nightfather Amit as he approached the Sanctum on Bosthirda. When the Tribune had announced to the whole of the House on Nilrebman XIII, he could scarcely believe his ears. A caste of sorcerers and scholars was one thing, and sufficient enough for him to be apart of, aside from it being the Emperor's Own. But a cabal of priests and paladins, dedicated solely to the preservation and expansion of the Dark Side faith and philosophy? Well, that was the icing on the cake.

Clad in his alchemically-enhanced armor and bearing with him his Sith Sword, gifted to him by General Invadator, he entered the grand hallway of the Sanctum. Before him at the far end, Tribune Hesper sat mounted on a royal dais. About the Sanctum, several tapestries of darker green and copper hung from banisters and columns, the sigil of the Hesperians and their slogan, Tenebrae Sint Nobis Dux, decorating them.

The Nightfather had but one purpose in his presence on Bosthirda: to join the Tribune as the first loyal Hesperian. He genuflected before her, not caring whether his presence was acknowledged or not, and pledged his allegiance.

Hail, the Tribune! I pledge myself to the ancient and mythical studies and pursuits your caste is so dedicated to!

TENEBRAE SINT NOBIS DUX!

The Dark Sun of Hapes knew the call of the Darkness well; she’d spent near a year and a half immersed the Darkness within House Dreadwar; guiding many to its forbidden realms and educating them even as she learned more and more of herself within the nihlsmoke stone confines...until a truth dawned upon her. A truth she tried to helplessly suppress; her first steps into the Empire were but the whims of the dark Dyad bound to her soul. The whims of Nihilus. In the journey she’d found her own voice, her ideals and desires...yet as much she desired to consume planets in keeping with the other half of her soul....when left to her devices she walked in solitude. Shunned the lust for battle. Consistently chose the scholarly studies over the baying for conquest and power. Like Darth Traya who first bore the title; she walked with the weight of a Seerer. A devotee to the Darkness.

The call echoed….not like a Wound in the Force, but the call of a path left untraveled. A place were those with bare feet and the faith that carried them might thread and find their home. Those similar to her, Aurelia Illium, merely a Miraluka seerer under the titles and Queenly elegance.

She’d once traveled here to claim a brief apprentice and felt the wonder of the sanctum; the vibration within the Force still glorious even when Lady Hesper had to briefly depart it. Now it puslated; a throbbing green heart of silent power.

She brought her battlecruiser the Ravager II into orbit of Bosthirda; and descended to the surface in a swoop winged shuttle. Her Hapan guardian Dhe descended the ramp first; habitually scanning the bustling wilderness for any danger but she knew well enough he would sense nothing. “Stay. I shall walk this path alone.” she bid; touching the guardians armored shoulder before she began down the winding path beaten with bare feet.

Well...mostly alone. Shipsbane the infamous gizka was clutched in her arms; her amphistaffs Phobos and Deimos wrapped around her waist and arms. She carried a mystical arrow of gleaming song steel, several lightsabers, but her preferred saber was a light foil with a smokey grey blade. Beyond this; she rarely felt the need for weapons. She had the Force; she had the magicks of Dathomir running in her veins; had the Darkness of Rhand filling her mind. She smirked, feeling the symbiotic presence of Nihilus within her mind; cursing her following a sect of priestesses; paladins, seers and prophets. In following this path of blind faith it felt the ultimate defiance to the dyad; her affirmation that she was her own person; independent of the will of a lingering ghost.

She wore white gowns trimmed with gold, gossamer veils fluttering in the wind;her six pointed crown glittering in the sunlight. The Dark Sun of Hapes reached the dias; and knelt low to the Tribune Hesper; not minding if a bit of dirt, mud and grass stained her exquisite attire; and she whispered to the Sith that had long been an ally and mentor, “My Lady, at long last I have come. Tenebre Sint Nobis Dux!”

Pallas allowed his ship to set down on Bosthirda. His goal was clear in his mind, though the route to destination less so. He sought the Sanctum of the Veil, headquarters of House Hesper, Vassal House of Dreadwar. It was less by Lady Hesper, and would hopefully soon count Pallas amongst its members.

He left his ship under the guard of Ananke and R6. The droid and gizka had proven themselves to be formidable guards over the years, and there were ways of reaching him if needs be. Though Pallas did not think they would need them.

One of the interesting and irritating things about Bosthirda is that it has a low level electromagnetic field surrounding it that messes up electronic communications and signals. Which meant that using a GPS or coordinates to find the House's headquarters was not easy. However the Dread Sorcerer had never been one for tech anyway.

After leaving his ship Pallas took to the skies, wings unfurling as his shadow was cast on the lush greenery of the world. Bosthirda was beautiful, in a dangerous kind of way, but the s'kytri had found that to be true for most beautiful things. Pallas chose his path by feeling for the darkside, the Sanctum was a Nexus in its own right, stronger than the one that the sorcerer had created. But unless he missed his guess, it wasn't actually the Nexus he was homing in on, but Lady Hesper herself. She was admittedly one of the most potent sith in the Empire by any and every measure.

Like some sort of dread angel, Pallas descended from the sky to the labyrinthian headquarters. He could practically taste the darkness in the air, feeling it resonate with his being. It had called to him from across the galaxy. The word itself, Hesperian, had begun to slip its way into his world like a whisper in his ear. Mixing with the screams and begging of the spirits he surrounded himself with. They called out for Ecclesiae, and Pallas couldn't help but answer. Devotion to the darkness, to deepest depths of the Force, to power. It was a siren song that drew him here, one he had decided to bow to.

He entered the Sanctum of the Veil with light footsteps, basking in the power of this place and it's mistress. It made his toes curl and the voices quake in fear as it's darkness mingled with his own. Pallas moved through the hallway at a decent speed, but did not run. These things were not to be rushed. Five feet from the foot of the dias Lady Hesper's throne stood on, Pallas knelt, wings folded behind him, with one hand in a fist over his heart, and the other resting on the ground. The s'kytri's head was, of course, bowed.

"Hail Lady Hesper!" Pallas called out, his voice echoing slightly in the chamber. "I come before you a pilgrim, seeking to pledge allegiance to the Hesperians." He told her solemnly, his eyes looking pits of molten gold as his very spirit bowed in submission. The winged sith paused for less than a moment, before voicing the motto of the Vassal House.

"Tenebrae Sint Nobis Dux."
