Discussion Old Republic Sith in the new Canon speculation.

I’m sure we’ll see Revan - I don’t think they could possibly do anything without Revan in there somewhere.

I do hope they’ll do something new and different, though. Distanced from KOTOR and SWTOR.

I think we will be seeing a lot more of the Sith as the Disney New Canon progresses; I'm already impressed with what they've done thus far. And, having read a lot of new canon books since the release of TFA, I think they'll take the Sith in a good direction-- based on what I've read, already. Everything I've read that addresses the Sith and the dark side from new canon has been thoroughly enjoyable. My hope is that we'll see a handful of books and comics, alongside (fingers crossed) a Revan movie and/or Old Republic movie or show.

Well, we have the Hundred-Year Darkness as the origin of the Sith. We have Korriban (yes, Korriban; Moraband is simply an alternative name) and the Valley of the Dark Lords. We have Ziost. We have Malachor. We have ancient Sith mummies, ancient Sith swords, Sith holocrons, Sith spirits, Tuk'ata, Terentateks, Sith alchemy, Sith Empires, Sith wars. Now, thanks to the TROS Visual Dictionary, we have (by name only) Revan, Andeddu, Tenebrous, Desolous, Phobos, Sadow. We have elements of Dark Empire in TROS, and a Sith sect post-ROTJ in the form of the Sith Eternal (which appears to be the New Canon's equivalent to the New Sith Order). Overall, I'm very happy with what the New Canon has done with the Sith.
