INCOMING TRANSMISSION
Sender: High Priestess Hesper, Dark Lady of the Sith,
Tribune of the Dark Council, Butcher of Coruscant, Immortalis
Recipient: Nacros Telcontare, Butcher's Harbinger

Cast in brilliant blue and cyan, the slender image of Darth Hesper bloomed from the portable holocommunicator held in Nacros Telcontare's hand; already, the Lady's eyes were locked on her apprentice. Her face was framed by a dark hood, and her long hair spilled forth over her shoulders, over the long, dark cloak that shrouded her body. Her hands were clasped before her.

"Nacros Telcontare, Butcher's Harbinger, my most patient and enduring apprentice." Her voice was clear, even through the distortion of the communication device. "The time has come for your training to resume. Come to my offices in the Sith Temple on Korriban, and come prepared. You and I shall be embarking on an offworld mission; the first of many in your training." She delicately inclined her head. "May the dark side guide you," she said before the transmission ended and her image faded away.

Turning away from the receptors of her holocommunicator, Lady Hesper returned to her desk, throwing back her hood and tucking her golden hair behind one ear. Upon her desk lay her lightsaber and a bag packed with clothing, medpacs, rations, and two canteens of water. Nacros did not know it yet, but they would be venturing to the jungles of Yavin IV, to survey the ruins of Sith long passed. There, Nacros would learn the history of the greatest names in ancient Sith memory; Naga Sadow, Andeddu, Freedon Nadd, Ajunta Pall, Marka Ragnos, King Adas, and more. Hesper pulled back her chair and sat, pulling up Council documents on her datapad to review as she waited for her apprentice to arrive.

In the House Dreadwar barracks, there sat the meager apprentice of the great Lady Hesper. Anyone who had met him, knew him as Nacros Telcontare. He was a simple man, he only sought to learn and bolster his knowledge and skills in the way of the Sith. This day, he was spending his time in his personal quarters. He had recently received a marvelous gift from the fearsome Lord Nathemus. They had previously embarked on a quest to find a special type of lightsaber crystal. Nacros had never been able to make use of the crystals they found, and now the Sedriss was making the apprentice the sole caretaker of his beautiful lightsaber. This weapon was very special for when the blade was extended, it formed a curved katana. This lightsaber was something that Nacros valued very highly, and because of this he often spent much time cleaning and caring for the saber.

While he was cleaning the lightsaber, his comlink chirped on the table behind him. He quickly finished what he was doing as to not keep the caller waiting. He stood up and combed his thick black hair back with his hand as he proceeded to tap the comlink. The radiant blue image of his master, Dark Lady Hesper, appeared in front of him. He immediately bowed his head, and listened as his master gave instructions, "Nacros Telcontare, Butcher's Harbinger, my most patient and enduring apprentice." She continued, "The time has come for your training to resume. Come to my offices in the Sith Temple on Korriban, and come prepared. You and I shall be embarking on an off world mission; the first of many in your training." She finished with saying, "May the dark side guide you." And with that the image disappeared as quick as it had appeared.

He promptly grabbed his comlink off the table and stuffed it into a bag he had laying around. He quickly found and put on his black leather chest plate and vambraces. He then adorned his black hooded robe that he so often enjoyed the leisure of wearing. It was the perfect piece to wear over his black leather armor pieces. Next he fastened his beskar staff to its spot on his back. He finished packing a few odds and ends and grabbed his canteen of water. He slung the bag over his shoulder and looked around the room one last time before leaving. Seeing the lightsaber where he had left it prior to the call, he grabbed the lightsaber and clipped it to his belt saying, "Can't leave this behind."

As he flew through hyperspace, Nacros pondered his training and made sure to recall and remember as much information as possible. He knew that whatever his master had planned for him, that it would be challenge him. For if it was easy, it wouldn't be very useful. He knew and expected her to not make it easy. For any Sith should know that some of the best things come with or by much pain and suffering. He brought the ship out of hyperspace and landed near the Sith Temple. He grabbed his gear and exited the ship, walking towards the Lady Hesper's office in the Temple. He didn't know his way around too well, so after a little walking around, he found the right direction. He stood tall and confident as he walked to his Master's office. Finally he came to her office door and knocked. He then knelt and said, "Master, I am here. I have prepared myself for the trip like you have asked. Is there anything I can do to assist you before we leave?"

Offices, Korriban - Departing for Yavin IV

Ah-- a knock. Her apprentice had arrived.

"Master, I am here." Nacros' voice came muffled through the door to Hesper's office. "I have prepared myself for the trip like you have asked. is there anything I can do to assist you before we leave?"

Hesper crossed the room as Nacros spoke, having put down the datapad she was reading. She punched the open button for the door, and smiled when she saw Nacros was kneeling so patiently outside her office door. "No," she said, a hint of joviality in her voice. "If you are prepared, I am prepared as well. I've arranged for us a shuttle to Yavin IV; we are going on something of an expedition." Stepping back into the room, Hesper scooped up her own bag and slung it over one shoulder. Under her cloak she was wearing a simple dark linen tunic over black fitted trousers, and on her feet were worn leatheris boots. Strapped around her waist was a utility belt from which her silver lightsaber swung. She beckoned with a finger. "Come, the shuttle is waiting for us at the temple's spaceport."

As Nacros stood, Hesper shut and locked the door to her office, and started down the hall with Nacros trailing behind. "Have you ever been to Yavin IV, apprentice?"

Lady Hesper answered the door, "No. If you are prepared, I am prepared as well. I've arranged for us a shuttle to Yavin IV; we are going on something of an expedition." Nacros bowed briefly and stood patiently, waiting a moment while his master gathered her things. She then began to walk towards the door, saying, "Come, the shuttle is waiting for us at the temple's spaceport." He followed her as they took their first few steps towards an expedition. There was an excitement, yet also a calm serenity about him. Lady Hesper then spoke, breaking Nacros away from his thoughts, "Have you ever been to Yavin IV apprentice?" she inquired.

"I have not my lady. Though I will say, I am very eager to see what you have planned for us.", Nacros replied with a hint of curiosity in his voice. "Can you tell me of the planet, my Lady?", Nacros continued to follow his master as they worked their way to the spaceport. Once they arrived in the port, he would be leaving for his first adventure of many as an apprentice to the distinguished Lady Hesper.
