IC- Lord Grievance Vexx
Location- Vassek III, Lair of Grievance Vexx

For being as standoffish and distant as he appears to be most of the time, when it comes to an apprentice, Grievance Vexx feels it is his responsibility to let the apprentice come closer than most. Where he ordinarily would have sent a shuttle, perhaps even a droid or two, to bring any other guest to his place of rest and respite, the Dark Lord Krigsbefallaf has seen fit to fetch Senec Tinople himself. After collecting the Caamasi from the Sith Academy on Korriban, Vexx had charted their course through hyperspace to the third moon of Vassek. His personal starfighter, commissioned by General Invadator, is an upgraded and modernized version of his father’s Belbullab-22, the Soulless One, with a larger cockpit to accommodate a pilot and copilot/passenger, the latter seat now occupied by Senec. The journey had passed in silence on the cyborg’s part, but as they touch down on his landing platform, Vexx finally speaks.

“You have been here before, Apprentice,” he tells his unseeing passenger, blinded by the Dark Lord’s summons only a few weeks ago, “My fortress on Vassek III. This blindness of yours does concern me. My medical droid might be able to help; perhaps at least determine whether or not it is permanent. Either way, perhaps I can teach you a few things to help you work with it.”

He opens the cockpit and climbs out of the Coup De Grâce, reaching down to help Senec disembark. Of course, his way of helping simply entails grabbing the apprentice by the scruff of his clothing and pulling him out, then setting him on the ground. He then leaps down to land beside Senec, straightening to his full height slowly and surveying the mist surrounding them. His presence in the Force is dominating, unlike the way it is in most settings surrounding Korriban. Outside of combat situations, Vexx’s presence is decidedly not territorial. It definitely is just that here in the open standing before his fortress however.

The air is damp; cold; still. No doubt, Senec will feel the chill and perhaps instinctively know that his master’s home is perpetually shrouded by fog. To one who cannot see, it might bring about imaginings of what the grave must be like. To Vexx, the silence is solace. The solitude is a comfort. He could do without the blasted fog, but it is trivial compared to the benefit of seclusion that his home provides.

“Come, Apprentice,” he says calmly after verifying that they have not been followed and no intruders lurk in the mist, “EV-A4-D is expecting us. Keep him waiting too long and he gets...whiny.”
