The classic original X-box and PC versions of the KOTOR series.

This is one of my favorites and I still replay them regularly.

These games ultimately lead me into the Legends.

Personally I feel the experience of being taught is so deeply personal in KOTOR 2. Any path you choose Kreia can guide you.

Isn't that the true part of it. Kreia will lead you no matter what and in the end you come to the single point you were meant to be at.

I love the Malacor sequence but it felt so rushed.

I would love to see an original story board or concept that they might have been planning.

Yes. The one part I don’t like is how locked in your actions are end game. Sadly I don’t have the ability to get restored content but I have seen it via YouTube. The Ravager and Malachor gave me nightmares the first play though, even though i have played far scarier games but i think the philosphy involved in KOTOR 2 makes it so much more immersive.

Knights of the Old Republic II is up there with Supernatural Encounters and The Rise of Skywalker as my favourite Star Wars work of all time. The original KOTOR is a cinematic masterpiece I have very fond memories of, but the second KOTOR was something altogether unique; moody, dark, and filled with unique, complex characters, sophisticated dialogue, and gripping philosophy and intellectualism.

Its music, its Lovecraftian cosmic horror, its environment design and its bleak outlook, themes, metaphysics and dialogue also added up to a subtle, but extremely powerful horror game, from Peragus to the first glimpse at Nihilus to Malachor V.

@Darth Illium

They set the mood so well in both of those instances, and the cinematic evoked throughout the game. The one thing I have loved about these games is how much they have expanded the SW horizon, with the windows into so many parts of the galaxy we always knew existed but never saw. Throughout my time reading the large amount of SW literature I have going back into the early years of the EU up to now, we indeed got to read and mentally visualize a breadth of worlds and events, but KOTOR in many ways put that on the screen and made it even more real. The dark nature of KOTOR II was immensely satisfying and even more compelling than stories before it.

@Darth Dreadwar

Agreed it is definitely in my top 5 of all my favorite SW works and a testament to the game that a "video game" itself would hold such a place. BIOWARE itself has been a powerhouse for that type of story telling and visual theatrics throughout its existence...

Two of the best star wars games I have played, I loved Darth Nihilus, rank him in my top 5 Sith and will never be replaced imo but i do love Vitiate/Valkorion too

Agreed, two of the very best SW games. I have them both downloaded on my Xbox-one and still have the old hard copies that I could play on my 360. The characters that were created in the series are some of the riches ones we have seen in SW production.

Revan goes without saying and aside from the playable characters there are so many deep and thoughtful characters that are presented throughout the games.

Canderous
HK-47
Kreia

Are three of my favorite "playable" characters"

Then again, you have all the story and plot characters you interact with.

Who could forget Gerlon Two Fingers and Deadeye Duncan! (During the duels on Taris)

They are such minor characters and you interact with both for such a short period of time, but the development put into both is indicative of so many character throughout the game that you come across and interact with!

It was always fun to corrupt her and turn her to the darkside, her outfit would turn black and her lipstick black too.

yep best looking version of her with a blue double bladed lightsaber godly id always mod to use that costume
You played the PC version then? I have always wondered how the mods work for the game. I understand there are a lot of customization that can be done for both games.

I know you can train Mira to use the force.

Interesting is the Dialogue the same as Kriea's?

no she has her own dialogue in battle but i never got far enough to get her as i had trouble putting her in as you needed a separate folder for the mods and and had trouble with hers but miras work you could also taje the powers from a character and give them yourself s long as you picked that for example you could get sions Resurrection power, if you ever get it on steam and wanna mod you can find some on steam but more on these.

Interesting, nothing is ever without bugs. Especially mods to existing games. But I like the concept of using her.

The only draw back of playing the KOTOR games on X-box, is the inability to use all of these mods, many of which sound amazing.
