Coruscant, The Crimson Corridor
War. War never changes.

Nor did it change that day on Coruscant, when the Sith had taken the temple, the Jedi retreated to regroup, and their forces collided once more in the darkness of the Crimson Corridor. The Sith artillery was aligned to face the unseen Jedi foe, obscured by shadow and ash, and dozens of Sith troops stood at the ready, marching into the cluttered battlefield.

They were a force to be reckoned with. But the Force is a powerful ally indeed, and Master Asaak Dan would no doubt prove his tenacity in leading his troops to reclaim their bastion.

On both sides, there were mutters of "May the Force be with you," the same words carrying wholly different intentions. From an outsider's perspective, it would have seemed somewhat pointless, or that the Force was not a willed thing, despite implications of the inverse throughout galactic history. But their contemplation would have been upturned by the carnage that followed as the first shots were fired into the night.

War did not give time to think, to contemplate the similarities and differences between two opposing factions, or whether both would benefit from not engaging this day. This was no different. Because war…

War never changes.

IC: Na'hir Sanghera
Private Location in the Crimson Corridor

Na’hir looked at her mission companions… and wasn’t impressed. Deadly Sith her ass. Two Apprentices, and neither one intimidating. One was a weed wearing predominately white and the other one wasn’t even wearing a shirt. Sith really were ridiculous, but she’d take it all the way to the bank, at least. Her hair was in a braided crown, and her bodysuit was a soft, matte gray. It wasn’t exactly casual, but one didn’t go tromping about the Crimson Corridor in party outfits. This outfit could at least mildly protect her, no mental backflips required. And it had lots of pockets.

“Okay, I have taken the liberty of splitting up the equipment your, uh, Nightfather, gifted us, into three packs” The hovertable quietly floated into view from the corner, with three identical black packs upon them. “We’ve got Arkanian bio-weapons, grenades, and recon devices, which we are going to be using to, hopefully, plaster all over Jedi Command and then use the bio-weapons to set off whatever munitions stores they or the Federation have.”

Na’hir, it could be admitted, was doubtful on that part. Sith were obnoxious but at least practical. Jedi believed in, if holofilms were to be believed, people’s better natures and hugging it out. And she was pretty sure that they were weapon purists, only using their lightsabers like a bunch of chumps who didn’t understand long-range warfare. While tales from the olden days of the Clone Wars mentioned Jedi pilots and whatnot, it didn’t exactly make them warmongers, did it? Sure, it was technically only the Fed troopers using them, but she wondered at what the Jedi leading them were doing. This mission wasn’t going to go well if they only blew up troopers and left the command structure intact. Na’hir shook it off. It wasn’t her problem, after all.

“My job is to get you both through the Crimson Corridor, and you two need to keep your Sith senses out and make sure we don’t get captured or spotted by Jedi or any Federation troopers. These lovely recon devices are going to get placed absolutely everywhere so you guys can do your thing and track them. I even have,” she whipped out her PADD with a flourish, “a map of the Corridor. You will find a copy on your own PADDs with a grid layout and your sector highlighted.” She gave them a charming smile. It was the one she used at the gambling table.

“We are going to split up and plant devices, and hopefully have to talk to each other very little, if at all. Any questions?”

IC: Apprentice Mardinga
Location: Crimson Corridor

Mardinga listened to the explanation of the bags, contents, and mild plan. Conversation was not his strong suit, he could monologue with the best of them but back and forth, he was far from adept at. She asked them if they had any questions but he had none. With a slight shake of his head his multicolored hair shifted around his face. For a moment he concentrated on his breathing, almost a seethe, as he relished the thought of destroying Jedi.

WHe retrieved the pack and opened it to glance in and better familiarize himself with the tools allotted. His favorite, items of death and destruction. He was versed well enough in killing to figure out how these worked. That was all he had been concerned with.

Mardinga looked towards the other Apprentice to see if they had anything to ask or say. He had a feeling no one really knew what they were really facing or in what numbers. That thought excited him more than scared him.

IC: Kaid Syx
Location: Red Corridor

Being the first time in ages since he's left Korriban, Kaid is eager to get out and explore. His Master had given him the basics for a mission on Courascant and was told to meet up with two others, one a human, the other a teevan. Beyond that, there weren't many more details other than to meet them at the Red Corridor.

Upon arrival, Kaid cautiously walks up to the duo, looking them both up and down. The human female appeared to be quite skilled, and beautiful, for someone of her species. As for the Teevan, Kaid couldn't quite get a solid read him him yet. Nonetheless though, Kaid felt he could trust them enough to get the mission done.

Kaid listens intently as Na’hir give them the mission details. She then beckons to a hovertable that floats into view with various weapons and equipment layed upon it. Weapons, grenades, and recon devices. Kaid couldn't help but smile as he thought about the potential chaos he could cause.

Split up and plant devices, that is the general mission plan. Kaid nods in agreement, not having any questions as of yet.

The Crimson Corridor

The two Sith apprentices now equipped as their fearless bounty hunter leader was, the three covertly exited their sanctum, splitting up immediately.

Each had been equipped with a holomap with the general layout of the Corridor. On these were marked five rings highlighted red, encircling areas of the Corridor suspected to be hotspots of Jedi activity. Kaid was first set to come upon an intersection surrounded by a market square and a bank. Somewhere within these bounds was a Jedi/Federation weapons cache, in which he would have to place one of the devices. Additionally, there were two places where AV devices would work perfectly: above the bank's porch and on the fountain in the center of the market square. On the approach, Kaid would notice several means of ascending the rooftops if he wished to gain a vantage point. Additionally, there was a tunnel grate he could enter. It was decorative and ran through the market, but either one of these could be viable approaches, especially if there were Jedi who would find him unwelcome up ahead.

Mardinga was sent elsewhere. Near the western edge of the Corridor lay a series of warehouses, three of which were suspected of containing at least one, if not two, weapons caches. There was no specific area designated as perfect for the recon devices, but the acrobat suspected that the alleys between the warehouses, and perhaps inside one of the one with the weapons caches, would be ideal. He would notice that there were air ducts near the rootops he could approach from, is he so chose to go up there. Alternatively, he could always seek to determine if there were opponents in any of the warehouses and sneak into a crowded one through an empty one. The possibilities were endless.

Na'hir was sent in the direction of the most potentially dangerous spot. There were two different red circles on her map, indicating general areas of likely weapons caches. One would no doubt find one in either place. However, betwixt both circles, in the overlap, was a bright orange dot, the likely location of the enemy command center. Obviously, devices of both sorts would well be planted there, but getting there was dangerous. Na'hir, however, was a dangerous woman, and she would find a way by whatever means necessary.

IC: Zealot Sasano
The Enemy Territory

The grim Zealot began to observe two things at once. First, he could sense the presence of Sith patrols in the sky, comprised of aerial troopers, a handful of Hesperian Guard, and a single other Zealot, Harrvayn. He pressed a button on his wrist communicator, a faint beeping emitting for a single moment, before the signal was sent to the command post on the other side of the corridor. Threntel knew they were in position. Now, it was time to hunt the Jedi.

"Keep close, my Lords, as we bound across the rooftops seeking our quarry. We must eliminate the powerful ones we find, stealthily if we can." Sasano's voice resounded in their minds for a moment before he took off, using a powerful leap to clear the gaps between rooftops, a clear target on his mind. Somewhere nearby was a Jedi Master, relatively far away from the strongest present signal.

As he made his way, the Zealot began using one of his more notable powers, one he had learned even before Drakul Xarxes had taken him under his wing. Beyond simple stealth, he was in the heart of enemy territory, and the most powerful weapon against a foe was to appear as a friend. Even the strongest of Jedi senses would need to concentrate specifically on him to see through the ruse, and he doubted that would happen. It mattered little to him if the Sith following him were found out. His mission was to be accomplished by any means necessary.

***

As Sasano landed on a rooftop some distance from their initial launch position, he could feel the presence of a Jedi Master. Looking down into an alleyway, he could see a small patrol of Federation troops, at the forefront of which stood a Quarren foe, an emerald saber glowing in his grip. This was a Master, no doubt, and he was the only Jedi in the group.

"Lord Jina'Tis, Nekrosis, ready yourselves to take out the patrol. I'll strike the master when I land." From his forearms sprang a series of curved and wicked blades, dark sorcery radiating from the metal, the result of alchemical treatment by his master. The tips had been dipped in the nefarious toxins generated through Arkanian science. Paralysis and pain, that is what he had in store for the Jedi below, and any who stood in his way.

The Skies above the Enemy Lines

Harrvayn and his entourage continued on their path, but were quickly interrupted by the sudden formation of storm clouds. The Zealot got a sinking feeling that they were being viewed now by something powerful. He called out to his men, rallying them downwards towards the fray below, to the backside of the enemy lines. It appeared the element of surprise here was gone.

"Threntel," he barked into his communicator, "The Jedi have spotted us! Send forces through, and continue to mow down the enemy cover with that artillery!"

Within moments, their trajectory would take them to the ground, but while they still flew, the aerial troopers would begin to fire on visible Jedi and Federation patrols, a torrent of blasterfire, accompanied by some rockets, raining upon them. Harrvayn, for his part, let loose a stream of purple lightning, the chains smiting unaware Federation troops, and causing some Jedi to move to the defensive as the energy surprised their forward march.

Thana would miss most of the action happening around her as she engaged with the Jedi. The other two present were busy combating the snipers on the rooftops, one making short work of an enemy, while the other was struggling with the superiorly agile trooper. A hail of automatic blaster fire, caused the Jedi engaged who was cutting the troops down to rotate and engage Soresu in order to avoid a quick death.

The golem continued to wreak havoc on the Federation troopers, catching them from the ground and hurling them into the sides of buildings, crushing their bodies against the stone, their blasters having no effect.

Thana, in the meantime, was unable to pierce the Jedi's chest, the Padawan moving too quickly to be caught by her igniting saber, though the hilt of the pike saved her, her pyrokinesis being just enough to catch the Jedi off-balance, preventing her from wounding the Sith. Instead, emerald blade clashed with obsidian handle, the lightsaber-resistant material burning hot as the Jedi's weapon met with it. The Jedi quickly pushed off, taking a defensive stance for but a moment before switching up, vaulting over Thana with an Ataru technique, her blade spinning behind her to catch Thana's back!

The Lord flew down astride a great Drexl himself, though this one was far greater in size than those his Zealots mounted. It's flesh was a greenish hue, and its mandibled face was more fearsome than any other on the battlefield today. Its rider was dressed in his usual armor, with a tattered black cloak tossed over it, the hood down to show his skeletal helmet. His cold, clawed gauntlets gripped the reigns fiercely as he penetrated the atmosphere, the wind picking up in his fellbeast's wings.

Down below, the skies began to swirl with dark clouds, thunder and lightning piercing the sky. He braced himself, barrelling through the storm clouds. His All-Seeing Eye was on alert, dodging the arcs of purplish lightning forming in the clouds. It wouldn't be the fastest process to get through the storm, but it was possible, and if anyone could do it, it was he.

IC - Nekrosis, Death Knight of Venom
The Enemy Territory

Nekrosis almost paused when Sasano addressed them as "my Lords" and wondered if he knew Nekrosis was only a Knight. He decided it didn't matter for the moment; they were actively hunting Jedi in the midst of a war. He was surprised again when Sasano started to exude a more Light Side aura and suddenly wished he had learned a similar ability. Just to be safe, he concentrated on hiding his presence in the Living Force. He would still be visible, and if the particular Jedi they were approaching was powerful enough Nekrosis was certain this effort would be rendered obsolete, but better safe than sorry.

When he saw the patrol and the Jedi, his excitement tempting to attack the Quarren instantly, but held back. It could be a Master. Nekrosis had grown in strength, but he wasn't sure he could take on a Master just yet.

Luckily, Sasano seemed to be targeting the Jedi when he told Nekrosis and Jina'Tis to take out the patrol. Should be easy enough, especially with the Shistavanen assisting him.

The Death Knight's hands hovered near his lightsabers, a pre-battle thrill coursing through him. The skirmish with the ogres had been a decent teaser, but now the real fun was surely about to begin.

Buildings surrounded the Apprentice. He had his targets down to a few. Looking in as stealthily as he could he felt like an assassin in this moment. It was a far cry from the typical sorcerer trait of standing back and destroying everything. He was not opposed to the change of tactics. Felt good to broaden one's horizons.

After locating a seemingly empty building in comparison to the others he decided to go in. In his mind the possibility of the caches being just out in the open were very low. Air ducts, that would be ideal for someone of his abilities to enter.

Scaling the building proved to be far easier than he had expected. He turned the bag of weapons to his front and shoved it through the opening. Wedging himself into the duct was a simple matter with his flexibility. Slithering through the system he was reminded of an old cliche from the old holos.

'It's quiet, a little too quiet.'

He thought of the line and then refashioned it to his current situation.

'This is easy, a little too easy.'

He was well aware of the outcome of such thinking in the vids, and as such he became much more alert and much more ready. What was he coming to face? He had no idea but he knew something was ahead of him. He continued forward nonetheless.

IC: Dread Lord Jina'Tis
The enemy territory

As Jina'Tis followed along the roof tops he smelled the presence of others just ahead. He also felt the Zealot Sasano change his aura to that of the light side, unfortunately the Dread Lord did not have the ability to do the same so he would have to be quick to dispatch anyone they find before they could sense his power.

*a Jedi* Jina'Tis thought to himself as he ran and leapt on the rooftops, he felt the light side power within a single Jedi and a master at that. As they reached the edge of a roof, they could see at ground level was a single Jedi with an emerald blade leading a small group of soldiers. The Jedi looked to be one of the squid faced races and Jina'Tis doubted that they would taste any good. Zealot Sasano stated the plan was he would attack the Jedi and Nekrosis and Jina'Tis would take care of the soldiers.

Careful and quick planning was made as Jina'Tis gripped his lightsabers in each clawed hands, after Sasano made his move so did Jina'Tis. The Shistavanen made the leap and aimed to the back of the patrol blades crossed in hopes to decapitate the Two soldiers in the rear, if successful he would stand at the ready waiting to see the results of the others attacks.

The Zabrak Master was heavily focused on the young dim attackers. The impact of the female's emerald blade meeting the midnight sharpened pike hilt.

The loud clash and unfortunately the Padawan still drew breath into her lungs as she had missed her heart and an easy chance to end her life. The release of their impact as the Padawan leaped away and over Thana.

It was a cheap trick at best to attempt to gain an advantage on her. The Zabrak held on tight with one hand and leaped forward into a roll to hopefully free herself away from add some space. Darth Thana would turn and stop kneeling in a defensive stance with her pike handle diagonally.

Thana needed to perfectly end this annoying pest, racing mentally she planned her next move. The dark side has always guided her well, the sorceress attempted to cast an astral form of an undead being breaking through the ground below the padawan.

The master hoped the illusion would draw the attention while she rose to her feet. The armor had a modified voice that boomed loudly now that action had ensued, her voice sounding like a male.

IC: Grand Master Durron and Master Asaak Dan
Location: Crimson Corridor, Coruscant

Grand Master Durron, Master Dan, and their forces were prepared for anything the infernal forces of the Dark Side could throw at them. The Grand Master continued focus on building his Storm, and as he did this he could finally see what was rifling through the skyline. The Sith air forces were riding atop great drexl beasts. If the forces of the Light were to have any chance of survival, they'd have to drop the Sith from their rides. It could not be allowed to continue.

The two Master Jedi briefly blinked their eyes and reopened them. When they opened, a tinge of violet struck across their pupils as they entered into the Force Form, Force Channel. By allowing the Force to freely flow through them unencumbered, they could achieve a state beyond which the Sith could reach.

While Master Dan's sabers were ready, up ahead he noticed a Dark zabrak lady who had just raised a corpse from out of the ground as she was attacking a Padawan. The Togruta raised his right hand and pushed it forward, raising two fingers and attempting to push the Dark Lady off her feet. She could not and would not kill the Padawan this day.

Kei Durron's focus was still upon the sky. He raised both hands to the heavens and legions of storm clouds came forth! There was thunder and lightning and rain, all in an attempt to destroy or disable the flying Sith. But that is not all; for the Grand Master was the foremost Master of animal friendship in the history of his beloved Jedi Order. His mind stretched out, attempting to touch all the flying beasts of the Sith, nudging them to turn on their riders and throw them all to the ground below.

As the Darth Master looked up searching quickly what had caused her to topple over and lose her Illusion. Thana could only see what looked like a Togruta from roughly fifty meters away.

The Zabrak rose her defense in the case of another attack. Watching herself and the whelp in front of her willingly attacking above her rank. Darth Thana focused on the youngling planning to attack by surprise if she approached as the skies above seemed gloomy.

Yeah yeah, of course she had the danger zone. Then again, she probably didn't trust either of the Sith to take this spot and tag it. Lucky her. Rolling her shoulders, she sauntered off, ready to do her work.

She picked her way carefully towards the nearest cache. She wished this mission hadn't been given at a time when another fight was going on, because now she was a suspiciously present civilian in a war zone. Great. Now, if she was to be hiding a weapons cache, she would have found a little hole in the wall, guarded by a couple of troopers in civvies playing at being sleeping drunks with a Jedi nearby for a nasty surprise. Given everything going on, she doubted they would be so subtle, if they ever had been in the first place.

Still, she left a few recon devices in areas that she thought might be of use later if things weren't ended after the battle. Or blown up. The first weapons cache location zone was, like everything else, primarily abandoned as Na'hir got closer. She moved slowly and carefully, trying to spot the cache as quickly as possible from as far away as possible. She wasn't ready for the rooftops yet, where her visibility would be better but the hiding spots would rely on no one looking up or her not being able to see anyone.

IC: Zealot Sasano
The Enemy Territory

With a graceful leap, the Zealot descended, his ragged cloak billowing as he landed amidst the soldiers, taking stance just behind the Jedi. Curved, dagger-like claws extended from his forearm as he delivered a vicious backhand toward the Quarren. Yet the power of precognition, however disadvantaged by the Zealot's use of a false aura, saved the Jedi from instant death, and he spun with blinding speed, his ignited emerald saber meeting the wicked claws of his foe.

Yet he faltered slightly, the points of two of the blades penetrating the cloth of the Jedi's robes, the lethal Sith poison acting quickly. The consular, for it was clear that he was one, went limp on one side, relying on his physical strength to push the surprised Zealot back.

Sasano retaliated, sending an empowered kick into the Quarren's chest. The squidlike Jedi went flying, his back colliding roughly with the brick wall of the alleyway, slouching forward to regain his breath. Sasano did not relent, pressing his attack to end the battle quickly.

The Federation soldiers were not so lucky, not having such gifts of foresight. Lord Jina'tis' blades tore through the feeble armor about their necks, their lifeforce blinking out in an instant. Two of the four remaining troopers took aim, firing off a volley of laserfire at incredibly short range.

The other two were distracted by the descending shape of Nekrosis, whose readiness aided him in deflecting their blasts in midair, allowing him the opportunity to act as soon as his feet touched the ground near them.

The Crimson Corridor, Warehouse Region

Mardinga's slithering shape crept through the air duct more quietly than a Loth wolf stalking its prey, his presence completely undetected by the Federation troopers he glanced at through the vents on the sides of the duct. During his crawl, he could make out eight of them, though none were Jedi. Two of them seemed to be casually conversing next to the weapons cache, while four guarded the main entrance. Two stood by a smaller side exit, probably keeping watch. None of them seemed particularly special, and apart from a few boxes and loose scraps of metal (this must have been a resource warehouse before the Federation made room for a holdout), there was nothing of interest. Now, how to get to the cache undetected…

IC: Zealot Harrvayn
The Skies above the Enemy Lines

The aerial troopers were not expecting inclement weather, but they were prepared. Of the two dozen flying troopers, six were taken out by lightning, and three more were struck by blasterfire. The remaining fourteen made it to the rooftops or ground level, using their superior maneuverability to evade the Federation strikers and respond in turn with their own blasterfire, cutting down nearly a dozen of the enemy.

Jedi would be quick to intercept them, naturally, and thus they engaged them individually, falling out of rank with their commander.

Harrvayn, for his part, continued his torrent of lightning, his well-trained mount evading the surges of the elements, guided by the foresight of his rider. And yet, there was something the rider had not predicted. The Grandmaster of the Order's bestial cajoling fell upon the Drexl, causing it to waver in its service. Though Drexl were notoriously resistant to mental attacks of any sort, the unpent power of Durron showed it no mercy. Fought though it may have, it was ultimately compelled as it entered closer to the rooftops to buck, its rider coming unfastened from his seat, clinging to the dark reigns for dear life.

The Drexl, however, continued on its path, and as it came close to the rooftops, Harrvayn let go, falling to his feet just behind a Jedi Padawan engaged with an aerial trooper. The adrenaline coursed through him, as did the darkness he embraced in the Force, and with his readied sword, he stabbed the Padawan in the back, crumpling him in and instant.

The Drexl continued to fly, soaring through the skies despite the hazardous environment, dodging lightning. Compelled though it may have been to throw its rider, it was not compelled yet to attack him.

Thana was right to raise her defenses, for a blast of lightning struck the ground near her, sending bits of rubble towards her, but not affecting her very much whatsoever. The Padawan, however, seeing this chance, burst forward, attempting to attack Thana while she was preoccupied.

In her haste, she did not realize that she had stepped between Master Dan's line of sight with his target.

The calamity of Sith artillery did not cease, but grew louder as more buildings were mowed down. Now, Thana and Dan alike, though still a distance from each other, could hear the intermingled screams of friend and foe alike, the sound of men and women dying as collateral of the artillerists.

One hand tapping the side of the beast's neck, his mind penetrated its with practiced ease, and the dark figure intoned aloud in a confident voice the dreaded words: "Qâzoi Kyantuska!"

She didn't want to waste time and leave herself open for more attacks, hopefully rejoicing in the added fuel of the misery of the dying. Thana sought to will the dark side in her favor as she reached deep into the spirit realm for some violent assistance.

The Zealot Sasano was busy with the squid jedi and quite well but as soon as Jina'Tis landed and took the lives of their fellows, two of the remaining four soldiers opened fired on him...HIM! A lord of the Sith.

Upon landing, Nekrosis kept both blades at mirrored lengths for the moment, holding both in reverse and crouching to become a smaller target. He deflected blaster bolts to the best of his ability, then tucked into a quick roll at the first opportunity. If timed right, he would emerge from the roll between the two enemy soldiers and slash forward with his lightsabers, aiming to sever their legs somewhere around their knees. Assuming that worked and they fell to the ground, the Death Knight would then attempt to impale them both through the chest.

Under his mask, Nekrosis had adopted an almost mad grin. At last, the fun had begun.

Nekrosis moved with the grace and ferocity of a pouncing Nexu, diving forward and rolling as the laser were deflected. He came up right next to the two, sabers igniting once more to sever the legs of both just above the knee. Their grunts of pain were brief, as the sabers quickly redirected, landing in the chest of either individual.

Lord Jina'tis used his sabers with equal, though less impressive, skill, deflecting the blaster bolts back at the attackers, striking both with expert precision.

Sasano, in the meantime, had by now lost the advantage gained by the element of surprise, and given that the Quarren Jedi was still alive, they weren't yet ready to leave. At present, he had his alchemized dagger locked with the ignited blade of the Jedi, and very shortly, both sides of the alleyway began to fill with Federation troops and a handful of Jedi apprentices that had heard the earlier blasterfire.

"Kriff," muttered Sasano under his breath, breaking away from his engagement briefly enough to send his hand forward, throwing out a blast of telekinesis. It only unbalanced the Quarren, but that was all that was needed for the Zealot to take down the weakened Jedi. His dagger twirled, coming into a back grip to plunge into the exposed back of the Master. He fell to the ground, dead.

Sasano's victory was short-lived, for shots began to ring out, two catching him in his armored shoulder. The Zealot acted quickly, as his compatriots would need to, telekinetically lifting the body of the Jedi as a meat shield while he looked for a means of escape.

The Crimson Corridor, Warehouse Region

As she approached the market square that the next cache was supposedly in, Na'hir could duck into cover just as she heard the voices of three Federation troopers around the corner, their voices panicked and cracked by stress. In the distance, the sounds of booming cannonades and collapsing buildings signaled the advancement of the Sith attack force and artillery. They had reason to be worried, so Na'hir might as well give them another reason to feel so.

The walls of the adjacent building were set up with what appeared to be a merchant stand, complete with overhanging canopy. Usually, this would've been useful in sheltering merchants and buying customers alike to stave off the sunlight. Today, however, it could provide a helpful advantage and positioning for the mercenary.

But there was one hiccup. Na'hir could see across the square some high buildings, atop which were situated a small retinue, perhaps four or so, of snipers. She would need to scan more carefully if she was to determine how many there were, but they were clearly facing toward her, and the encroaching horde but half a kilometer away.

The Crimson Corridor

Thana's defenses would begin to falter as she diverted her focus more than was plausible, but it paid off, the surging roots erupting from under the concrete earth, fracturing it into rubble. The limbs coiled around the Padawan, twisting and turning to entrap her, but it did not kill her. Thana's attempts at focusing on too much had taken away from the effectiveness of all of it.

Still, she was trapped, and a bolt of lightning from above ignited the roots, setting it ablaze before the Sith Master.

Thana would be able to feel her reserves strengthen very slightly as she fed on the carnage. The golem she had animated earlier crushed two more Federation soldiers underfoot, but another arriving Jedi, this one appearing to be of a higher rank, elevated his hand. The golem paused for a moment as its fist came hurtling toward the Jedi. It groaned, and then the rocky limbs were rent in many parts, shattering it wholly.

The Jedi raised his saber aloft, his battle cry dampened by the eruption of concrete, earth, and metal as blasterfire became more intense, and Sith cannonade began to crop up from the crumbling buildings. The Sith were closing in now. Their advancement was strong.

IC: Darth Drakul Xarxes
The Skies above Coruscant

The hurtling fellbeast continued its descent, barrelling down toward the rooftops of the Crimson Corridor with all the ferocity of its kind available to it. The mental puppetry of its rider held it strongly, guiding it with his expert and clear precognition to avoid the hail of lightning striking around him.

In a matter of moments, the beast and rider penetrated the dark clouds, the battlefield now within reach. In seconds, the form of Darth Drakul Xarxes would arrive at the scene of combat, and his arrival would solidify the Sith's lead.

He caught a glimpse of his fighting Zealot and the aerial trooper accompaniment, slowly being surrounded by enemy soldiers and a handful of Jedi. This would not do. Extending his will over them, he used the basic power of telekinesis to life up two dozen of the enemy figures several meters into the air, before they were violently forced down, bodies crushed by the intense impact of the telekinetic attack.

Xarxes scowled. He hated that it came to this. Eradication was a nasty but often necessary affair. The Jedi and Federation alike were outmoded institutions, which he had every intention of demolishing.

A strong presence caught his focus, one even to rival his own. No doubt this figure would immediately notice his presence on the battlefield, but that would change little, as Drakul Xarxes directed his Drexl towards the source of power: the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order.

IC: Stryker Kai

Stryker had been in awe at the sheer jump in combat he had gone through in the last few months. From trying to regain his true connection in the Force as well as the training he had been going through, to the rigorous battlefield he now stood on was a concept he didn't have the time to truly ponder on. Right now, absolute chaos was running rampant right now and it was up to him and his fellow Jedi to seize the day upon Coruscant and all it stood for. He turned to the Grand Master and Master Durron and shouted outwards in confidence.

"If you have any orders, I'm at your command to get through this fight!"

He prepared himself for the direction he must go. The odds were not in their favor, but with timing and tactic, they could make the battle turn in their favor, he got in his Ataru stance, readying to react to whatever moment called upon him and used the Force to shield his mind and prepare for what was to come. It then came to him that he could potentially reach out to the Drexl's themselves and convince them to abandon the battle below them. This would take a big disadvantage off their shoulders and he was ready to try all he could to support his cause. The Crimson Corridor was likely going to become a graveyard, but it was one he hoped would be able to be forgotten sooner rather than later. If they could back the Sith away from Coruscant, the future may not be as bleak as it was worried to be.

Powers Used - Ataru (2), Battlemind (1), Beast Trick (1)

IC: Dread Lord Jina'Tis
The enemy territory

Bullseye... it may have not been graceful but the two soldiers laid lifeless on the ground, their own shots having bore through their bodies. Jina'Tis soaked up the smell of blood and burnt flesh, he could also sensed that the jedi and other soldiers had been taken down as well.

The small victory was short lived as the shistavanen caught the scent of more soldiers and what seemed like more Jedi... coming from both ends of the alley they were in. "Kriff this is getting bothersome" Jina'Tis said as he leapt to the right to dodge most of the blaster fire using his sabers to deflect any that came too close. The moment Jina'Tis landed he would clip his right hand saber to his belt and quickly gathers the power of the dark side sending through his body to his right hand to be unleashed as force lightning.

The attack would be aimed at the group at the end closer to the Sith Lord, multiple blue streams would be released like electric snakes slithering through the air to find their prey filling the area with haunting blue light and burning ozone smell. The hopes would be that the attack would seek and fry anyone who is foolish enough to fight against the sith....
