IC: Darth Skyllan
Location: Unnamed moon of Hapes

It wasn't often that Skyllan went so close to a planet that, culturally was opposed to their existence. Though they didn't consider themself a 'man' they were aware, painfully so sometimes, that others viewed them as such. Likewise, the Hapan appreciated beauty, while s'kytri were typically considered to be beautiful... Skyllan had long lost their lusture, gone grey instead of the beautiful blue that they had once been. To say nothing of the 'customisation' that they had done to their body, that the prideful species would likely consider a deformity. Lady Traya, the world's new Queen Mother, might have made some additions since then, but given Darth Lisan donned a objectively attractive female form, Skyllan didn't think it had changed too much. That being said, they were not here for a social function.
They were here for a fight.
Not a vicious one though, this wasn't a kill or be killed fight - though that wouldn't affect their commitment to the bout - it wouldbe a fight with the Queen Mother of the planet that would most likely try to kill Skyllan if they went down to it. Lady Traya, the former Lady Illium. She'd been the ruler of Dathomir when they had first met, but her domain had expanded. They had always respected the sorcereress, they had made that clear a number of times during their acquaintance, but now she had proposed a duel. Darth Skyllan couldn't let such a request from someone they reespected go unaswered. If Lady Traya wanted a duel, then the sith master would give it to them. It would be interesting to see if it would be in person, or via one of her oft-employed phantoms. But yes, this was why they were on the moon.
Hapes was a beautiful planet, it's moons - or at least this one - didn't have the same sort of verdure the planet was known for, but it had developed a breathable atmosphere. It's orbit was a tad ecleptic, Skyllan wondered if it had developed its own atmosphere by dipping into the planet's slightly, not unlike Dxun and Onderon. Admitedly though, they were uncertain. This moon mimicked some of the more mountainous reigons of Hapes, more basic organisms like moss and fungi were growing, obviously bacteria too. It hadn't developed more complex life yet, but it certainly had the capacity to do so given that Skyllan could stand unaided upon the planet's surface. Higher up though, that was more difficult. It seemed the Winged Sith wouldn't be flying too high today.
Darth Skyllan gathered their power, concentrating and drawing upon the strength of their Sceptre. Then they raised the weapon, bringing it's butt striking back down on the surface of the moon. For nearly 50 meters in every direction from where the hilt of the weapon struck, the ground flattened. Creating a circular arena like area. Nothing compared to when Skyllan and Lord Xarxes had brought down a mountain together, but a relatively impressive little feat nonetheless. If it wasn't for wielding a force battery, the sith might have struggled. The s'kytri's own ship lay just behind a ridge nearly 300 meters away from their current location. They hadn't wanted the Magaerra to be too close to the location of the fight.
The flattening of the surface had also served a second purpose, a rippling through the Force to alert the Lady to their location. They had sent a message as to where and when in general terms, but due to the lack of mapping of the moon - as far as they were aware - this was a tad more to the point. Skyllan had a strong feeling Lady Traya knew already, she had been percieving things through the Force for far longer than they had after all, using the Force for sight was likely as natural to her as flying was to the s'kytri. Now they were just waiting for the Lady in question, and whoever from down below felt the need to watch the Queen Mother's fight to avoid anything going awry. Not that Skyllan was a threat to Lady Traya, for one reason or another, but there was a degree of exposure when it comes to a duel.
'Dark,' they really couldn't stop thinking, 'I suppose this is what happens when you get a fight that you've been after for a long time.' Lady Traya was a true arcane sorcereress, of a high caliber. 'One way or another, this will be a day to remember.' Skyllan adjusted grip on their staff, their lightweight alchemized armor a dull black on their body. It wasn't the grandest gear, nor was it the most impressive. But it was theirs, and it was good for any occasion. There weren't any funky gadgets involved. Just Skyllan's power, and the power they had torn from the galaxy to meld with it. It, along with its sith master, were Hungry. It would be delicious to show their hunger to someone connected to the Lord of Hunger from millenia past.
