Question Adding images to conversations/forums

I am curious if there is an easy way, that I have yet to see, to add images that are saved on my PC (or Phone) directly to the body of a message here? I easily found the way to add from the internet, but uploading has eluded me. Any suggestions?

You can upload images from desktop or your phone's storage by clicking on the photo icon when writing a new post, then selecting the icon with an upward arrow. There should be a box with a dashed border that appears. Click that, and you will be able to upload an image!

One of the only issues I have run into is the file size being too large (the actual file size, not cropping or adjusting pixels), which you can remedy through Photoshop or a similar editing tool. MS Office even allows you to reduce the "file" size within word. If you need more info reach out. Though simple google search will help you find an online file tool.

Thank you both for the information. I just recently noticed the "attach files" button at the bottom of the messages.

I was curious however if it is possible to attach pictures to a private conversation? I see the "link" button, but no way to add an image. In case a brief visual was needed for explanation.

On both mobile and desktop, this "photo" icon should be available when writing a new PM.

Additionally, when you use the "attach files" function, make sure you click or tap "Full image" when the file is uploaded, so the image will appear inline in your post or message.

For some reason, it was only letting me use the "link" part for attaching in 2 of my conversations. There was no option for upload or attach files. I was, however, replying to a message, so maybe that's where the issue was.

I've solved the issue! Uploading files to conversations was not allowed for regular registered members. It's possible I just forgot to tick that box.

Please let me know if you're still unable to upload content to conversations!
