Casual Claiming Ailon Nova

Rayge readied himself withdrawing his extended hilt from his belt but not yet igniting it and reached out with a mental nudge towards the General. This wasn't a full-on attempt to wake her just a quick examination to make sure she was still living. Rayge turned his focus back to the high marshall's son still yet to extend either blade from his hilt.

"So you were a traitor all along?"

The anger and overall frustration ever apparent in his voice as a rough low pitched growl began interrogating his opponent.

"Your father should've left you to die especially if he thought you weak enough to be captured by this lot."

Still preparing and not making any subtle movements other than the positioning of his saber in his right hand Rayge stood ready for the onslaught to begin.

"What are your hopes here? What do you plan to accomplish with this rebellion?"

Rayge interrogated further building the tension and soaking up all the anger and fear surrounding his eventual victims allowing it to build within him preparing to release it at a moment's notice.

If information was what he wanted to find, then he would find very little to that effect. Only a single datapad would be found tucked away in the robes of the former leader of the group. Its screen was cracked, revealing that the inner components also suffered damage. But not enough. Not enough, at least, to entirely disguise the message that appeared as Sharkish'Ki grasped it. It was only a single sentence.

"Just kill him and get over here. We have the Sith."

OOC: What you choose to do from here is entirely up to you -- find reinforcements, go join the fray, etc.

Within the Compound

Momentarily unaware that his troops and supporters were being slaughtered by the cybernetic terror, the High Marshall's son seems willing to address Rayge, even if his tone is dismissive and his sneer is hateful. "Simple. Rid ourselves of Sith influence and domination." He raised his hands, offering an almost combative shrug. "You are not wanted here. And anyone with a shred of pride in our planet and reputation agrees with me."

If Invadator were conscious -- which she was definitely not -- she might have thought back to the High Marshall's own demeanor. He hadn't really wanted them...but he had little choice in the matter. He had accepted them graciously, but none had been blind to the tremors of discomfort and unwillingness that had pervaded his mind. He was doing this for reasons that were neither about pride or stubbornness. Perhaps his son wasn't so different from him after all.

But the dying screams of warriors and plasma on metal quickly sounded outside of the room -- Vexx was closer than they'd bargained for. "Let's go!" the son shouted, opening a secondary set of doors and gesturing the armed men to follow. Invadator was quickly hoisted up like sack of potatoes by the nearest guard.

And they were about to discover if Rayge felt the odds were good enough to put up a fight.

Sharkish’Ki knelt, holding the datapad that seemed to contain orders for the swift assassination of the proprietor. He looked over his shoulder at the slumped body that had half warned him of the militia’s intentions. “Well, the plot thickens,” he said with intrigue, as the small, companion droid whisked it’s way out of the store and towards the speeder. He stood up and tucked the datapad into the spare pouch on his belt, thinking any crucial data may be retrievable at a later time.

Thanks for the hospitality,” he said sarcastically, tiptoeing over the bodies of the fallen. “Send a message to General Invadator and inform her of our rendezvous.” He commanded as he reached the doorway, giving the room a glance over as he went. Thinking no more of it, he swiftly made his way back toward the speeder, in which the droid had smoothly inserted itself back into its dock. It beeped and whirred, chiming in response.
What do you mean, ‘General unresponsive’?” Concern formed at the forefront of his thoughts. “Plot a course. Inform Lord Vexx. They may need our help.
Whilst he imagined there was a perfectly reasonable explanation for the radio silence, his instinct told him differently. Something about all this didn’t add up in his head; why would he be assaulted at the start of his investigation; and why would The General choose to ignore a communication? The speeder turbines kicked into action as he slid into the saddle, as the droid displayed their relative positions in a hologram. There was a peaceful silence to his surroundings, as if the Force was no longer in turmoil here.

Pulling back on the handle bars and stomping on the accelerator threw the craft into a terrifyingly fast journey out of the small town and toward The General’s last known position.
