Florrum has always been a place where the outlaws of Federal and Republic law could take refuge, where a man trying to look for a dishonest day’s work could find a home. Until recently, a band of criminals known as the Sanguine Sands had been dominating the planet’s underworld from their station in orbit. We have taken their place. But rather than acting as criminals to the galactic order, we are here to fulfill the ultimate service that the Outer Rim provides to all the galaxy: the work of mercenaries and bounty hunters. Not even the end of civilization can snuff out such an ancient tradition.
After the Sith slaughtered the Sands and their patrons, they sent the remains of the crime syndicate’s orbital station to the surface of the planet below—a tragedy, but one that we have capitalized on nonetheless. Using the station's remains, we have created a town that the guild shall operate out of, dubbed Ohnaka, in honor of the famed pirate from centuries ago. A wall surrounds the small city, patched together from the scrap left behind by the crash. Safe within those walls are merchants, homes, and the Guild Hall at the center of it all.
With a bar and plenty of private, soundproof booths to conduct business in, this is the center of our operations. The Guild receives a thirty percent cut of all contracts it provides. This is a non-negotiable rate, and any attempts at haggling will likely be answered with a hole in the head. We’re not running a charity.
So, keep your nose clean, fulfill your contracts to the letter, and pay your fair share. Do that, and you’re going to retire wealthy and happy one day. Or you’ll go down in a blaze of glory, whichever you prefer. The best legends get to choose.
OOC: We are the Bounty Hunters Guild. As the name implies, we will provide contracts for players to complete and take contracts from anyone who can afford our services. Want to earn some RP experience? Look at the bounty board and see which bounty is the most within your character’s wheelhouse. Want to get back at someone for embarrassing you in the cantina? Put a price on their head and see if other players accept the offer.
This guild is 100% purely an opportunity to roleplay further and gain experience in combat settings and in general. If you wish to place a bounty, you must message the leading Guildmaster (at the moment of the creation of this guild, that person is @Christian Oxford). You will provide the target's name, whether you want them dead or alive, and where that target was seen last. The reward for completing the contract you propose will be determined solely by the Guildmaster, as well as the price you will pay for putting up the bounty in the first place. All proposed contracts are subject to approval or denial at the behest of the Guildmaster.
Joining our guild will give you access to the Bounty Board! There you will be able to find a wave of new contracts posted monthly, with varying targets and assignments that will keep you on your toes. You can earn in-game loot and other unique items for completing such bounties within the provided deadline. There’s no better way to gain a ton of roleplaying experience with fast-paced, rapid-fire RPs. And, on top of that, you don’t have to play as a Sith character to participate! Jedi (who’d realistically be willing to bounty hunt in the first place), Sith, Mandalorians, and anyone else in the galaxy are eligible. So join us today!
