💀 Description: The House of Cruor, known as the Slaughterhouse, is led by the Order of Death Knights who lead the elite "Black Legions" into war. The Slaughterhouse is a militaristic house of combat, it’s foundations reaching as far back as the Hundred-Year Darkness where the Black Legions led by Marchioness XoXaan fought against the fearful Jedi High Council and their army of sycophants. It is here where warriors seeking to hone their skill in the martial disciplines come, for those of House Cruor are the best in the entire Empire. While powerful in the arts of war, Death Knights of the the Slaughterhouse do not focus on the finer disciplines of sorcery, or alchemy, unless it is specifically used to enhance their ability to deliver death in the midst of combat.

The Sith of this house are their relentless drive for victory, and the ferociousness in which they engage in combat is unrivaled. An often used mantra in the Slaughterhouse is: “Someday, someone will best me. But it won’t be today, and it won’t be you”, and they believe it for they are confident in their ability.

They feel that only when one’s life is at risk can Sith become fully immersed in the power of the Dark Side, the purest way to achieve this is combat. In the forge of combat we are shaped into a weapon, our skills honed, our strength tested. Those who fall are not mourned, it is natural for the strong to cull the weak, this process ensures only the strongest live on as Death Knights.

đź’€ Membership Preferences: All Sith who seek to become masters of combat, even Sorcerers and Assassins, have been known to sharpen their martial abilities. Sith who excel in lightsaber combat, tactics, or who are sorcerers who wish to support military units with Battle Meditation.

đź’€ Military: The core of the House's military is comprised of the Ailon Nova Guard, an already formidable military unit is made even stronger by the addition of legions of Mandalorian soldiers and Super Commandos. The current head of the House, Lord Grievance Vexx, brings the loyalty of the Kaleesh. All these forces are loyal, completely, to the Head of House Cruor. The personal army of Lord Cruor consists of the Thyrsian Sun Guard, the lightly armored elite Echani, and the barbarian hordes of the Bengali. They are loyal, completely, to Lord Cruor. While the two armies are in fact separate and do not formally coordinate movements, it is wise to consider them allied forces, for of war came to House Cruor they would fight as one. All of them can be properly referred to as "The Black Legions".
đź’€ Colours: Black and White
đź’€ Animal: Duinuogwuin / Loth-wolves
đź’€ Sigil: Skull on a field of black.

đź’€ History: A warrior forged in the Hundred-Year Darkness, Darth Cruor was unleashed into the galaxy as a ruthless killer for the Sith cause. He first engaged the hated Jedi along with Marchioness XoXaan's as she led her Black Legions, it was here where the the Order of Death Knights began, and through the centuries that followed the Battlelord Darth Cruor was central to many of the galaxies greatest wars, often times not only instigating the conflicts but also personally participating in the battles, and personally leading elite groups of SIth or Dark Jedi.

Numerous cults and Sith sub-sects have formed around the philosophies and instructions of Darth Cruor, under one alias or another, such as the Black Knights of Malrev IV. The reputation of Darth Cruor reached its peak during the War of the Trials, where the Sith’ari became the most capable and feared slayer under Darth Vassago’s command, and as Battlelord he helped the Sith armies destroy the Jedi Order which sought the great Dark Lord’s demise.

Some of Darth Cruor's teachings have been passed down through the ages via the form of holocron, or techniques which have been incorporated into use by some of the greatest duelists known to the Sith; Tulak Hord, Exar Kun, Darth Malgus, Kas’im and Darth Bane. The formation of the Slaughterhouse is the culmination of this legacy, it honors the finest warriors of ages past, and those who fill the ranks today are considered among the most deadly Sith in the Empire.

Beasts of Cruor
Calvary of House Cruor: Air, Land, Space

During the campaigns of the Hundred Year Darkness the Black Legions of Marchioness XoXaan came to use the services of the mysterious Duinuogwuin, Star Dragon as they were known to most, these dragons gave a few brave warriors the ability to engage their enemies not only on land or air, but in the void of space as well. Ever since some Death Knights of the Black Legions have continued to utilize beasts of various kinds.

Duinuogwuin: Persuaded to fight alongside the Sith during the Hundred-Year Darkness, the Star Dragons have since been bred and altered via Sith alchemy into terrifying Sithspawn which are now enslaved to the Order of Death Knights and loyal to House Cruor. Centuries of breeding and alchemical alterations have created a cunning, intelligent, aggressive, and powerful offshoot of the original Duinuogwuin race.

Plague Hounds: Darth Cruor travelled to Lothal long before it’s association with Lady Hesper when travelled there and meditated in the temple of Jedi origins, contemplated the painting of the Mortis gods, and came to enslave the first of many Loth-wolves. It would take centuries more before the wolves were bred, and transformed through Sith alchemy, into ferocious servants loyal to the Order of Death Knights of House Cruor. These “Loth-wolves” are now known as Plague Hounds whose bite will pass along an oftentimes lethal infection, while they cannot travel the pathways of time they are otherwise are capable of the same powers as their ancestors on Lothal, and run as a pack called the “Death’s Head Wolf Pack”.

Death Walkers

56247977_319718702022579_5119011214743044096_n.jpg

The Death Walkers consist of a small number of Sith within House Cruor who have dedicated themselves to the study and worship of death, life after death, and resurrection of those who have recently passed. They not only study the lives of Sith who have travelled Beyond and returned, but aim to become masters of knowledge on the realms within the Netherworld of the Force, showing specific interests in Chaos. Through the unlocking the mysteries of Sith alchemy and sorcery they've mastered the powers of Dark Transfer, Dark Side Healing, and Tsaiwinokka Hoyakut which gives these priests much influence over life and death.

The Death Walkers are also renowned practitioners of Battle Meditation, their ability to enhance the prowess of combat units has made them invaluable among the fighting forces of House Cruor. It is not uncommon to see a Death Walker assigned to accompany a Death Knight on missions, and woe be to those who are unfortunate enough to engage with such a fearsome and deadly duo.
