Assembled as the premier fleet of House Vassago and the naval vanguard of the Final Sith Order, the forty capital ships of Ravencrown are amongst the finest vessels the Sith have to offer. Commissioned specifically for the Sith and those of House Vassago, an entirely new line of ships was created and named in honor of Lord Vassago’s callsign; the Gilgamesh series. Chief among these vessels is the “Bloodreign”, flagship of House Vassago, prototype of the Gilgamesh series and personal superdreadnaught of Lord Xxys. Armed and armored to the teeth with amassed weaponry both conventional and cutting edge experimental, the “Bloodreign” heads the fleet as its mobile command center from which all its directives flow. Acting as the “Bloodreign’s” primary support vessels are the five battlecruisers that serve as the upper echelons of the Ravencrown fleet; the “Styxia”, the “Phelegetha”, the “Achera”, the “Lethae”, and the “Cocysia”. Standing as the naval vessel equivalent of the fleet’s lieutenants, each battlecruiser can be deployed to act as the head of a separate campaign of a multi-planet theater or flown in formation around the “Bloodreign” to serve as the heart of a fully marshaled Ravencrown fleet. Around them are the new line of Star Destroyers, cruisers, frigates and corvettes, accompanied by the fourteen squadrons of strike fighters, bombers, and attack landers of the Gilgamesh-series ship line. Together the Ravencrown fleet stands poised to bring order to the galaxy, deliver salvation to beleaguered Sith worlds, and administer retribution upon those who would stand against it.

A.I. Voiceclaim: Project 2501/The Puppet Master from “Ghost in the Shell” (1995), VA Tom Wyner

The prototype of what would become the Gilgamesh ship line, named after callsign of Lord Vassago himself, the GLM-01 “Bloodreign” is both the progenitor and flagship of House Vassago’s Ravencrown fleet and the personal flagship of Lord Xxys. Shaped like a colossal push dagger, the “Bloodreign” follows the design philosophy of the Star Destroyers and dreadnaughts that came before it, placing emphasis on overwhelming forward firepower and psychological power projection via its sheer scale and aggressive form. With its vast onboard arsonal, including its experimental “Zeus” and “Longinus” weaponry, and extensive garrison of both starfighter and combat personnel, the “Bloodreign” effectively serves as a mobile fortress as well as the heart of House Vassago’s premier fleet.

Armed with turbolasers, point defense batteries and ion cannons numbering in the thousands, the “Bloodreign” is able to function as a single-ship fleet with its overwhelming firepower. Her coordinated CIWS point defense system renders any approach by hostile starcraft suicidal and attempts at assault by missile fire impotent. Through its two thousand warhead launchers she can deploy a wide variety of missiles, including assault torpedoes, concussion, baradium, and boron missiles and even carrying twenty resonance torpedoes. The most potent of all these weapons, however, is the experimental “Longinus” weapons system. Inspired by the reborn Palpatine’s Galaxy Gun and its main weapon, the “Longinus” weapons system is able to, like its inspiration, fire its projectile through hyperspace. Loaded with a nuclear warhead encased in a durinium shell to help it bypass sensors, the “Longinus” system is able to fire its projectile across the galaxy with pinpoint accuracy, making long-range strikes from the safety of a different planetary system. Accompanying the "Longinus" weapons system is the equally experimental “Zeus” override system. Inspired by the sheer compelling power of Lord Vassago’s voice, the engineers at Kuat Drive Yards worked to reproduce this power in the form of an override system capable of remotely hijacking the automated systems of any vessel within range of her gravity well projectors. Once subjugated, the “Bloodreign” can then utilize the commendered vessels as if they were part of her own fleet; lowering enemy shields, turning their own armaments upon themselves, distorting enemy communications, flying them into each other and even initiating self-destruct sequences are but a small portion of what the “Zeus” system can perform. At the command of the “Bloodreign’s” reigning commander, the scope of the “Zeus” systems capacity can be even more potent and far-reaching. And even if by some miracle a hostile craft find its way past all these weapons to a firing position on the “Bloodreign”, the superdreadnaught’s quadranium-reinforced impervium armor can shrug off the heaviest of bombardments with ease.

Complimenting its on-board weaponry are the vast array of embarked starships and ground assault vehicles. Among them are the Gilgamesh-series strategic bombers, strike fighters, attack landers and the stealth fighters of Wraith squadron, as well as a large number of various ground assault vehicles. Additionally the superdreadnaught is outfitted with twelve IM-455 modular garrison prefabricated bases for rapidly establishing beachheads and forward bases in planetary campaigns. On the ventral hull the “Bloodreign” has a specialized docking port reserved for the “Echidna” designed for secure, long-range transportation through both real- and hyperspace. From this docking port the “Echidna” and her members of Corvus squadron can be rapidly detached and deployed while the “Bloodreign’s” hangers can focus on the rapid deployment of her contingents of starfighters and bombers.

Accompanying the “Bloodreign’s” weapons and on-board complement are its many support systems, each designed to maximize the effectiveness of the superdreadnaught. The twelve gravity well projectors dotting the frame render escaping the superdreadnaught useless. When all twelve are activated it creates a gravity well comparable to that of a large gas giant. After a hostile vessel has been trapped and disabled by the “Bloodreign’s” weapons, she can deploy any one of her one hundred and fifty boarding torpedoes to perform boarding operations. Over a hundred 220-SIG tactical sensor jamming devices and L4 sensor bafflers, combined with her Vanish 2 military sensor masking system, render the “Bloodreign” all but invisible to hostile sensors and detection systems. Her TQ-895, SF-12 and KC5 capacitor components enhance all of her laser weaponry’s energy output, rate of fire, range and precision respectively, while the 3K40 targeting system coordinates fire into a unified whole. The soliton antenna additionally grants the “Bloodreign” the capacity to track starcraft across hyperspace jumps. Housed just within the containment fields of her hangar bays and within sockets all across the hull are the three thousand droids of the “Bloodreign’s” R-PB6 repair system, allowing her to perform not only repairs on her own hull while deployed, but to reair the damages of any allied ship that comes within range. And surrounding the exterior of the hangar doors are the superdreadnaught’s thirty-two tractor beam projectors to reel in disabled craft into her awaiting hangar bay. Prisoners captured during an engagement may be detained and interrogated within any of its sixty holding cells within the brig. For personnel who have been injured in the line of combat the “Bloodreign” is outfitted with a fully furnished and fully staffed medical bay, capable of acting as a mobile hospital and tending to even the most critical injuries. For the vessels housed on-board the superdreadnaught, the “Bloodreign” has an extensively equipped repair bay to attend to the damages both ships and droids may have sustained, capable of fully restoring even the most critically damaged vessels in a matter of hours. Like the “Echidna”, the “Bloodreign” is outfitted with a long-range communications array with experimental hyper long-range, encryption comms overlay. Through this overlay, the superdreadnaught is able to securely communicate with any of her fleet ships from anywhere in the galaxy without the need for a relay. And should the need arise for them, the “Bloodreign” is outfitted with two hundred escape pods located throughout the vessel to allow escape in a worst-case scenario.

Imposing and outfitted with the finest weapons and armor House Vassago has to offer, the Gilgamesh-series Enkidan-class strategic, multirole ESM battlecruisers are the largest and most powerful ships of Ravencrown fleet second only to the GLM-01 “Bloodreign”. Named after five of the regions of Chaos, the “Styxia”, the “Phelegetha”, the “Achera”, the “Lethae”, and the “Cocysia” act as the fleet’s core around the “Bloodreign” as well as individual, secondary command ships when the fleet is distributed across multiple sectors and theaters. From these battlecruisers, operational command of Ravencrown’s is smoothly administered across the various formations and divisions simultaneously. In their capacity to act as their command vessels when the fleet is divided across the galaxy, each battlecruiser is outfitted with a wide plethora of weaponry, complimentary starships, ground assault vehicles, and interstellar provisions to assure its success no matter what the endeavor might be. To this end each battlecruiser is outfitted with well over two thousand guns ranging from turbolasers and point defense cannons to ion cannons and flak guns, each strategically placed to offer the maximum amount of both protection against any hostile starcraft and optimize firepower to obliterate anything found in the crosshairs of their targeting computers. To complement this imposing array of gunnery two hundred warhead launchers stand at the ready with four different varieties of missile to obliterate the enemy with. Chiefest of the battlecruisers' weaponry are its two orbital autocannons, known for their power in devastating planets in orbital bombardments.

Onboard each ship carries hundreds of smaller starships and ground assault vehicles to carry out their operations. Among them are the Gilgamesh series starfighters, bombers and attack landers, complimented by drop ships and command shuttles for the transportation of commanding officers and ground troops alike. These in turn are complimented by nearly three dozen walkers and tanks. Loaded neatly within the ships’ dedicated hanger and launch bays, these vehicles can be deployed quickly, neatly and at a moment’s notice. Combined, these vehicles make each battlecruiser alone a task force unto itself. But a deadly complement of vehicles and overwhelming gunnery are not the only weapons the battlecruisers possess. Each is armored with quadranium-reinforced impervium and protected with three DSS-02 shield generators. Combined these protective measures make it exceptionally difficult to make any meaningful damage to the battlecruisers. And even then the CIWS system coordinates all of the point defense cannons to create a nigh-impenetrable screen of defensive fire, intercepting any missile or starfighter bold enough to attempt an approach. For establishing footholds in planetary operations each battleship is given five IM-455 modular garrison prefabricated bases to quickly solidify a position on the ground.

To communicate with the other ships of Ravencrown fleet the battlecruisers utilize a long-range communications array built with an experimental hyper long-range, encryption comms overlay - the same kind that was used by the AQ-CR86 “Echidna”. With it each battleship could securely communicate with any Ravencrown vessel from virtually anywhere in the galaxy. For more tactical applications each battleship was outfitted with a suite of jamming devices of obstructing enemy communications and sensor bafflers for concealing the ship from detection, complimented by the exceptionally powerful Vanish 2 sensor masking system. Additionally the soliton antenna made tracking a vessel across hyperspace possible as the 3K40 targeting system helps to coordinate fire from all of the disparate weapons. With these measures each battleship is able to approach effectively any ship or any defensive bastion undetected and launch a surprise assault while cutting off the target's means of summoning help. Once the target has been disabled, each battlecruiser is able to either deploy its boarding torpedoes to take over its functions or utilize any of its twelve tractor beams to bring the vessel within the hangar bay to seize any valuable persons or items onboard. Once onboard prisoners are kept and interrogated within any one of its thirty holding cells within the brig.

To attend to the aftermath of any major event, each ship is outfitted with a R-PB6 repair system. Fifteen hundred dedicated repair droids lay at the ready to repair any damage the battlecruisers may sustain in the heat of battle. For returning starcraft or ground vehicles, each battlecruiser is outfitted with a dedicated repair bay to service any damaged vessel. For the officers and crew members who may be injured while stationed onboard, each battlecruiser possesses a med bay for attending to their medical needs. And should the ship receive sufficient damage that the ship need be abandoned, fifty escape pods are distributed through the battlecruisers’ frame to allow those aboard to quickly escape the failing vessel.

Created as the successor of the Star Destroyer line, the Gilgamesh series, Dies Irae-class strategic, multirole DISM Star Destroyers are House Vassago’s declaration to the galaxy as the next generation of the iconic ship series. Acting as the second lieutenant ships of Ravencrown fleet, each Star Destroyer is named after an individual or group in the Tapani sector’s noble houses’ collective mythos. Carrying the Gilgamesh series’ aesthetic, the Dies Irae-class functions as a smaller, faster, and more agile Enkidan-class battlecruiser, bearing many of the same weapons and armament and carrying many of the same features, albeit in fewer numbers.

However this does not make them any less deadly. Armed with over three hundred turbolasers, warhead launchers, laser and ion cannons, the Dies Irae-class still possesses a potent punch while still being heavily protected by its quadranium-reinforced impervium armor and trio of shield generators. Combined with an extremely effective combined Aegis Combat and CIWS point defense system and a choice of three different varieties of missile to unleash upon any hostile force, each ship serves as a bulwark to both protect the core of Ravencrown and destroy any enemy that dares encroach upon it. The Aegis Combat System in question can fire a coordinated volley of thirty missiles of choice at up to thirty different targets in under three seconds to utterly overwhelm an enemy or an enemy formation - with repeated volleys able to be fired as quickly as once every thirty seconds at the risk of overheating the launchers - while the CIWS system unleashes a deadly barrage of interceptive cover fire as an offensive screen against incoming starfighters. Together in tandem these systems create a defensive and offensive screen of fire against enemy vessels.

Onboard each ship carries nearly two hundred starfighters, bombers, attack landers, shuttles, dropships, walkers and tanks. From the ships’ hangers and launch bay any and all of these vessels can be deployed quickly and efficiently. Serving as the “hands” of Ravencrown fleet, the Dies Irae-class acts as the command ship of the various planetary campaigns the fleet may undertake, overseeing the daily operations and relaying commands and reporting to the respective battlecruiser they answer to. It is with these vehicles that the Dies Irae-class exercises its authority over its field of operation with speed and ferocity. Alongside the ground vehicles each ship has two IM-455 modular garrison prefabricated bases for the speedy establishment of defensible, ground-based positions.

Being the latest incarnation of the Star Destroyer line, the Dies Irae-class possesses many new features never before utilized on previous models. Bearing the suite of sensor bafflers, jammers, CIWS point defense system, Vanish 2 military sensor masking system and long-range communications array with experimental hyper long-range, encryption comms overlay that is trademark of the Gilgamesh series, the Dies Irae-class also carries a gravity well projector for interception tactics and twenty boarding torpedoes for boarding operations. Additionally, the 3K40 targeting system aids in keeping the weapon volleys in an organized whole when unleashing salvos. Lining the brim of its hangar bay doors are four tractor beam projectors to reel in any disabled ship be they hostile or friendly, with a fifteen cell brig for detaining and interrogating prisoners captured. Alongside these is its R-PB6 repair system, outfitted with two hundred dedicated repair droids to attend to any damages the ships may sustain during battle. For starships or ground vehicles stationed aboard the Dies Irae-class that have been damaged, a dedicated repair bay is provided to attend to any damages they may have sustained. For the organic staff and officers on board, a medical bay is located at the center corridor to nurse any injuries or sickness that may befall them, while fifty escape pods are located throughout the ship to provide escape should the vessel needs to be abandoned.

On-board med bay. On-board repair bay. Dedicated freighter cargo hold. Long-range communications array with experimental hyper long-range, encryption comms overlay. Spatial flux dilation spectrometer. Full-spectrum distortion projector. L4 sensor bafflers. 15x modular heavy hard points.

Acting as the support vessels of Ravencrown fleet, the Valravn-class tactical support VTSC cruisers provide a number of services to not only maintain the upkeep of the fleet, but also act as the first bridge in the chain between the larger, more strategic capitals ship and the smaller, more nimble tactical ones, as well as serving as the midline of defense in Ravencrown’s formation. Like its cousins, the cruisers of Ravencrown are named after the moniker of a historic noble or piloting ace through the Tapani Sector’s history, thus indirectly carrying on their namesake’s legacy.

Outfitted with turbolasers, warhead launchers, laser, ion and point defense cannons, each cruiser is designed to meet any opposition head on while at the same time provide the needed support for the heavier capital ships of the fleet from the side. The fast-acting CIWS point defense system protects the ship from any incoming missile or approaching starfighter via the interceptive crossfire of the point defense cannons. Meanwhile the Aegis Combat System can fire a coordinated volley of up to twelve missiles of choice against up to twelve targets within range with volleys being fired as quickly as once every twenty seconds. Overuse of consecutive volleys will overheat the launchers, however, thus forcing them to be given a cooldown period before being used again. Combined, these two systems create a screen of heavy fire for both defensive and offensive tactics while shielding the hull itself from taking enemy fire, which in turn itself is protected by quadranium-reinforced impervium, allowing it to take even direct fire with minimal damages.

Alongside these weapons nearly forty starfighters, bomber and attack landers lay neatly parked in its hangar bay, arranged for fast and effective deployment at a moment’s notice. Accompanying the starship complement is the trademark suite of the Gilgamesh series ship line, albeit with minor adjustments for its size. Sensor bafflers paired with a full-spectrum distortion projector shield the cruiser from detection by hostile sensors while the hallmark long-range communications array and experimental hyper long-range, encryption comms overlay provide the ship means to securely communicate with the fleet from nearly anywhere in the galaxy. Likewise the cruiser is outfitted with the R-PB6 repair system accompanying the heavy capital ships of Ravencrown fleet. Fifty dedicated repair droids dot the exterior of the ships’ frame ready to spring out and attend to any damages the cruiser may take during an operation.

More compact and concise in its purpose, while still performing the multirole capacities of its series, the Valravn-class was designed to carry out the various support duties needed to maintain the fleet. To achieve these duties Valravn-class is the first in the Gilgamesh series to incorporate a dedicated freighter cargo in addition to its primary hold hold as well as fifteen modular heavy hard points. Meant to carry the needed materials, munitions and foodstuffs to supply the fleet’s ships across their operations, the extensive freighter cargo bay is fortified to carry these supplies while the modular heavy hard points not only act as connecting points to bear external cargo loads, but ports to attach additional auxiliary weapons such as missile and gun pods, space combat countermeasures such as flares and decoy systems, and drop pods. But like its companions in the Gilgamesh series, the Valravn-class is equipped with ten escape pods should the vessel need to be abandoned and onboard medical and repair bays for attending to damaged starcraft and injured or ill crew members respectively.

Possibly the most versatile of Ravencrown fleet’s capital ships, the Huginn-class tactical support HTSF frigates is capable of carrying out battle maneuvers with both the fleet’s heavier capital ships and starfighter squadrons while also being able to act in support roles in maintaining the fleet’s upkeep. Each named after a mythological creature from Tapani lore, the frigates live up to their namesakes’ legacies through their ferociousness in battle and the potency by which they achieve their successes.

With its frame centered around its main gun, the frigate’s HR-0C slingshot slug railgun allows the ships to function as a space-borne artillery piece for both space battles and orbital bombardment operations. Surrounding the railgun are six RH8 laser cannons and a trio of SW-8 ion cannons and Mornre-3 concussion missile launchers each. Combined these weapons make the Huginn-class an exceptionally formidable adversary to contend with. Likewise the frigate’s defenses are as formidable as its weapons. While protected by the Gilgamesh series’ trademark quadranium-reinforced impervium armor, the ship is also outfitted with eighteen point defense laser cannons to guard against incoming missile fire or the stray starfighter that decides to get too close. These in turn are protected by the frigate’s JC-671 deflector shield generator, allowing it to withstand even the heaviest of enemy barrages.

A multi-purpose support ship, the Huginn-class possesses a highly flexible construct in addition to the many features hallmark of its series. Equipped with the trademark suite of long-range communications array with experimental hyper long-range, encryption comms overlay, spatial flux dilation spectrometer, full-spectrum distortion projector and L4 sensor bafflers, the Huginn-class also is outfitted with dedicated medical and repair bays for attending to injured fleet personnel and damaged craft respectively, often utilized in the aftermath of a major battle or engagements when the bays of other capital ships are already loaded to maximum. A dedicated freighter cargo bay accompanying its primary cargo hold also allows the frigate to act as a supply transport with room enough to ferry such items as foodstuff, munitions and fuel. Ten modular hard points also allowed the Huginn-class to carry auxiliary weapons, such as missile or gun pods, or allow the ship to carry additional cargo via exterior attachments. And should the ship need to be abandoned five escape pods are provided to allow those onboard to safely evacuate. However the most notable feature of the Huginn-class is its configurable interior; designed to accommodate any feature that the other capital ships are unable to provide, the configurable interior allows the frigate to take on those very roles. Whether the fleet needs a dedicated hospital, repair, sensor, or transport ship and the other fleet vessels are otherwise occupied, the Huginn-class is able to take up that role in a matter of minutes to adjust its interior layout.

Nimble, well armed, and able to keep up with the fleet’s starfighter squadrons, the Muninn-class tactical support MTSC corvettes are Ravencrown fleet’s most combat-oriented support vessels, capable of performing attack-oriented maneuvers as well as carry out non-combat operations such as reconnaissance, supply delivery and ship-to-ship maintenance. Named after classical weapons of war and serving as the last capital ship in the Gilgamesh series, each corvette possesses the greatest versatility compared to its larger and more heavily equipped forebearers, allowing it to serve in the widest number of capacities.

Armed with KV22 heavy laser cannons, SW-8 ion cannons and point defense laser cannons, accompanied by two MG9 proton torpedo launchers, the Muninn-class is able to act as the fleet’s first line of defense against hostile starfighters. Whether it be in forward assault, a defensive formation or in an escort role, the corvette’s weapons are designed to not only meet the expectations of any given situation, but excel in it. With a selection of five different mines they are also able to deploy minefields both in strategic positions before a battle as well as in the midst of it to create a tactical advantage. Protected by twin GA21 shield generators and the Gilgamesh series’ trademark quadranium-reinforced impervium armor, the ship is able to take the heaviest of enemy fire while sustaining minimal damage. In a move more reminiscent of a starfighter, the Muninn-class is also outfitted with a rear warning sensor, granting it the ability to detect objects to its aft - an otherwise blindspot for many vessels.

Alongside the hallmark suite of sensor bafflers, full-spectrum distortion projector, and long-range communications array with experimental hyper long-range, encryption comms overlay, each corvette also carries ten modular heavy hard points, a magnaband scope, a spatial flux dilation spectrometer, magna lock, and two RT-17 repulsor-tractor beam emitters to carry out its wide spectrum of objectives. Combined, the magna lock and tractor beam emitters allow to the Muninn-class to act as a spacetug in lieu of one of the larger capital ships. Meanwhile the magnaband scope and crystal gravfield trap gives it one of the best sensors of the fleet, coupled with the PN-4 sensor component bolstering its sensory range and its sensor ping allowing it to detected stealth vessels, making it excellent for reconnaissance ahead of the formation. The modular heavy hard points also permit it to act as a cargo transport with such items as cargo containers and fuel tanks loaded to the exterior of the vessel. In times of expected combat the hard points could be outfitted with additional guns and missile pods for increased firepower, allowing the corvette to serve more effectively as a protective screen against enemy starfighters.

Fast, heavily armed and packing an exceptional amount of firepower for its size, the “Ifrit” strategic assault bomber is the Gilgamesh series’ answer for House Vassago’s naval bomber. Inspired by yesteryear’s BTL Y-wing and the bombers of both the Galactic Republic and Empire, the “Ifrit” has taken the lessons learned from these starships across the wars they served and incorporated them into its own combat philosophy.

A two-seater starfighter, the “Ifrit” carries many of the combat doctrines borne by its spiritual forebears. Among them is its turreted MS-2B twin laser cannon, manned by the “Ifrit’s” co-pilot and aft gunner or weapons system officer or even an astromech droid should the situation call for it. Accompanying these weapons are the twin KX7 laser cannons, manned by the main or forward pilot, to clear out any debris that may obstruct the target bombing area or to take out any fast-moving hostiles should the opportunity arise. But the most impressive feature of the bomber’s armament is its extensive selection of munitionry; two assault concussion missile launchers and two flex tube proton torpedo launchers allow the “Ifrit” to unleash ten concussion missiles and proton torpedos each. Meanwhile in the bomb bay, six varieties of demolition weaponry, ranging from concussion and ionic to anti-armor and anti-personnel, await deployment. During missions where additional munitions are required, three modular hardpoints line the underside of the bomber, allowing the “Ifrit” to carry auxilliary bomb, missile, or gun pods - or simply act as an improvised cargo shuttle - should the need arise.

For the “Ifrit’s” frame, the bomber is constructed with quadranium steel, which is in turn protected by its P-12 shield generator, allowing the craft to take a number of hits from enemy fire before becoming debilitated from it. More notably is the “Ifrit’s” engines; more resembling the loadout of it starfighter cousin in the Gilgamesh series line, the bomber is equipped with a quartet of N2-f microthrusters in tandem with its main pair of JZ-5 fusial thrust engines, giving it an extensive boost in speed and maneuverability over traditional bomber starcraft. And like its starfighter cousin, the “Ifrit” is equipped with eight flares and a rear warning sensor to aid the starcraft if the bomber is caught up in a dogfight. Carrying the Gilgamesh series’ trademark stealth suite the “Ifrit’s” full-spectrum distortion projector, 4x-Phantom short-range sensor jammer and L4 sensor bafflers.provide overlapping layers of sensor camouflage to aid it in avoiding detection - a valuable asset when performing covert bombing runs. To aid in the success of said bombing runs, the “Ifrit” is also outfitted with a ANv-9q sensor system, the IN-630-B “Sightline” holographic imaging system, and the 398x bomb sight to give it the greatest possible advantage to successfully execute its mission. And should the bomber need to be abandoned, the “Ifrit” possesses two ejector seats to provide safe escape for the pilots.

L4 sensor bafflers. 4x modular hard points. 840.z holo-targeting suite. IN-630-B “Sightline” holographic imaging system. S-c4.1 multi-range TAG. Sensor ping.

Designed to be the premier starcraft in the next generation of space superiority dogfighting, the “Achilles” space superiority strike fighter is the latest entry in the eternal galactic arms race. Brilliantly fast and strikingly agile, the “Achilles” is a staple of any division within Ravencrown fleet and a mainstay of House Vassago’s naval forces. Possessing a sleek, aerodynamic frame with articulated wings like the atmospheric jet fighters of yore, the “Achilles” also possesses one of the narrowest lateral silhouettes of its generation of starcraft - an element skilled pilots take full advantage of.

Inspired by both the TIE/D Defender and its rival, the X-wing starfighter series, the Gilgamesh series “Achilles” was designed to synthesize the best aspects of both ships while striking an economic balance for mass construction for the many pilots of House Vassago’s fleet. Armed with a trio of L-s9.6 laser cannons and a pair of NK-3 ion cannons the starfighter is capable of both gunning down any target caught in its line of sight in very short order or just as quickly disabling smaller craft for capture. Likewise she is outfitted with a trio of MG7 proton torpedo launchers with a fifteen torpedo magazine. With these the “Achilles” can easily punch through some of the heaviest of armor plating, by they starship hulls or the reinforced structure of a planetside bunker. The “Achilles” itself is by no means lacking in defenses as well; bearing the Gilgamesh series’ trademark quadranium steel, even the fuselage’s more delicate components - such as its wing articulations - are able to take some of the most devastating direct hits from enemy fire. The “Achilles” is further protected by its Zr-41 shield generator which proves an additional buffer and strong wall of protection against incoming fire.

Alongside the suite of the full-spectrum distortion projector, 4x-Phantom short-range sensor jammer, and L4 sensor bafflers that serve as hallmarks of the Gilgamesh series, the “Achilles” also bears with it a number of additional features to heighten its edge in combat. Its TX-100 weapon power magazine boosts the power of all the ship’s ion and laser weapons, while its sensor ping gives it the ability to detect stealthed ships and mines. Four modular hard points dot the exterior of the “Achilles”, allowing it to carry additional weaponry such as auxiliary gun or missile pods, or simply allow it to perform simple cargo transportation duties. However, the combination of the 840.z holo-targeting suite, IN-630-B “Sightline” holographic imaging system, and S-c4.1 multi-range TAG give the “Achilles” the most powerful and accurate targeting suite of any ship within Ravencrown fleet. Should the ship’s systems be disabled, the built-in life support system will automatically engage, and should the “Achilles” be damaged enough to the point that it needs to be abandoned, she is outfitted with an ejector seat for the pilot to escape.

Power plant(s): Quadex power core

Armament: 2x KV22 heavy laser cannons. 2x MG7 proton torpedo launchers (8x missile magazine capacity).

Hull: Quadranium steel

Shielding: 1x 721a AEGIS shield generator

Engine units: 4x P-s6 twin ion engines, 2x KV807-A engines,

Crew: 3x, 34x embarked passenger capacity,

Compliment: N/A

Misc.: 8x flares. Rear warning sensor. Life-support system. 3x ejector seat. Full-spectrum distortion projector. 4x-Phantom short-range sensor jammer. L4 sensor bafflers. Heavy magna lock and repulsorlift system. T-s7b targeting computer. ANx-y sensor package.

As Ravencrown fleet’s dedicated transport vessel, the “Hercules” attack lander is designed to carry House Vassago’s personnel as well as its more valuable cargo. To this end it is outfitted with a wide variety of specialized features meant to aid the lander in carrying out its mission.

Despite its primary role as a non-combat vehicle, the “Hercules” is far from defenseless. Armed with a pair of KV22 heavy laser cannons and MG7 proton torpedo launchers each, the lander can use its heavier weaponry to clear out any hostile forces that may remain on or near the designated landing zone. While the “Hercules” is certainly not meant to engage in open combat, its heavy weapons still provide it the means to neutralize any targets before they can become a threat. Constructed with the Gilgamesh series’ trademark quadranium steel the lander is built to withstand the heaviest of enemy fire comparable to its non-capital ship cousins in the series. Short of a direct hit by turbolaser or missile fire the “Hercules” is capable of soldiering onward through enemy fire to deliver its precious payload. More notably, the lander’s 721a AEGIS shield generator is also the strongest shield generator of any non-capital ship in the Gilgamesh series, allowing it to soak up the heaviest of enemy fire without any noticeable effect.

While the lander is equipped with its series hallmark suite of stealth technology, the “Hercules” is also outfitted with features traditionally borne by its starfighter cousins. Meant to give the lander an advantage should it be unfortunate enough to be caught in a dogfight, the “Hercules” is provided a rear warning sensor and eight flares to help it evade missile fire and hostile starcraft to its at. When engaging an enemy or simply to assist in clearing out a landing zone, the T-s7b targeting computer aids in making sure every shot fired hits its target. But more importantly to its mission purpose is the lander’s heavy magna lock and repulsorlift system. Incredibly strong, this dual system allows the lander to securely carry some of the heaviest loads - such as fully staffed walkers and prefabricated bases - to and from the fleet’s capital ships in atmosphere or orbit down onto planetary beachheads. Likewise, as a landing craft, the “Hercules” can carry up to thirty-four personnel within its deployment bay, around the size of a modestly large platoon. Once down on the planet’s surface, the lander can quickly deploy both troops and vehicles before returning to its carrier ship and beginning the next round of deployments.

Compliment: N/A

Misc.: Mk. IV Stygium cloaking device. Vanish 2 military sensor masking system. 4x-Phantom short-range sensor jammer. IPV-2C optical camouflage overlay system. Mag-field generator. Thrust trace dampener. Vectral engine component. L4 sensor bafflers. 14x flares. Rear warning sensor. Life-support system. 3x seat ejection block. ANx-y sensor package. CRX-9 targeting computer. Embedded, tamper-proof destruct device and self-destruct mechanism.

Designed for covert and black ops operations of the highest order, the “Nosferatu” stealth starfighter is provided with the most bleeding-edge cloaking technology of any ship in the Gilgamesh series, arguably the entire Sith armada even. As the dedicated stealth ship of Ravencrown fleet it is outfitted with the most advanced suite of technology in order to execute some of the most highly classified missions given to any member of the Sith Empire.

Though not intended for the open combat of traditional dogfighting the “Nosferatu” is still equipped with a powerful arsonal. Armed with a quartet of L-s9.6 laser cannons, a pair assault concussion missile launchers, and a choice of G9-M concussion mines and seismic EMP countermines, the “Nosferatu” is capable of acting as a multirole starfighter outside of its stealth capabilities. Bearing the quadranium steel armor hallmark of the Gilgamesh series’, the “Nosferatu” is also protected by its “Defender” deflector shield projector. Combined, its armor and shield generator provide the stealth fighter a remarkably strong level of protection, allowing it to take multiple direct hits from enemy fire without detriment to its structural integrity. Not just capable of acting as a starfighter, the “Nosferatu” also has enough room on-board to act as a transport, just large enough to carry a twelve-man squad for a covert insertion.

Taking its original design aesthetics from the TIE/rp Reaper, the “Nosferatu” takes technical and functional inspiration from such vessels as the TIE/ph Phantom, the “Scimitar”, and the “Carrion Spike”. For this no expense was spared in the “Nosferatu’s” creation. Multiple, overlapping layers and stealth systems create a nigh-impenetrable veil of concealment over the vessel. The Mk. IV Stygium cloaking device, taken from the TIE/ph Phantom, and the IPV-2C optical camouflage overlay system, taken from the “Carrion Spike”, cloak the “Nosferatu” from optical detection as well as a wide scope of conventional sensors. The 4x-Phantom short-range sensor jammer further prevents detection by the more intensive scans of more powerful sensors while the mag-field generator nullifies magnetic detection. Even the engines are shrouded in stealth technology; the thrust trace dampener, vectral engine component, plus the series’ trademark L4 sensor bafflers, all work to eliminate any detectable emissions from the engines. The “Nosferatu” even has a trio of WhisperThrust engines, also outfitted with these systems, for added speed in maintained secrecy. Even the hull itself is built with stealth in mind. The entire surface of the ship is coated in reflec polymer, further nullifying detection both optical and electromagnetic, while the interior is lined with durinium, preventing scanners from revealing the contents of the ship. But should the vessel be detected, or forced into open combat, the “Nosferatu” is no less equipped to take up the role of a dogfighter. The rear warning sensor grants the ability to detect vessels and objects to its aft while the CRX-9 targeting computer provides the “Nosferatu” to accurately hit its targets with every shot. But should the “Nosferatu” be disabled, it is equipped with an on-board life-support system to sustain the health of its crew. And should the “Nosferatu” need to be abandoned, a three seat ejection block within the cockpit can be deployed to jettison the crew to safety.

An extraordinarily potent vessel, the “Nosferatu’s” stealth systems were so exceptionally expensive that only twenty-five were ever produced - with twelve of these being used exclusively by Ravencrown fleet’s Wraith squadron. Each one is assigned a unique start-up key for security with Lord Xxys being given both the remaining thirteen keys and a master key. Because of the threat each stealth fighter poses, every one of them is built with an embedded, tamper-proof destruct device and self-destruct mechanism directly under Lord Xxys’ control. Should a “Nosferatu” stealth fighter be captured or attempt to be flown be an unauthorized individual, the self-destruct mechanism will immediately activate, detonating the ship’s power core into a fission bomb. Alternatively Lord Xxys may activate the destruct device remotely from anywhere in the galaxy and the stealth fighter will likewise detonate.

RT-17 repulsor-tractor beam emitter. Magna lock.

Reconstructed from the original TIE Advanced x1, the Katya-class omni-role, tactical fighter-interceptor - dubbed the IRD “Vader’s Talon” - is Lord Xxys’ personal starfighter, commissioned to resurrect Lord Vader’s personal starfighter into its modern incarnation. Retaining its signature silhouette, the “Talon” takes the original concept and innovates it to meet the demands of present day warfare. Faster, nimbler, and more powerful than its predecessor, the “Talon” is outfitted with four L-s9.7 laser cannons and two Mk III cycling ion cannons. Also used on the TIE/ba Baron, each of the L-s9.7 laser cannons were capable of fully automatic fire while the laser bolts possessed the properties of a maser beam, rapidly overwhelming shields and even punching through quadranium steel with only a small number of hits. The ions cannons, also capable of a fully auto fire, could just as quickly overwhelm and disable smaller unshielded vessels such as other starfighters with a single shot while larger ships such as corvettes and frigates could be disabled with four to six shots - an easy matter given the cannons’ high rate of fire. The quartet of M-g-2 general-purpose warhead launchers are able to choose from diamond boron and ST7 concussion missiles, and mag-pulse warheads while the “Talon’s” is able to carry Void-7 seismic charges and VL-61/79 proton bombs into battle. All of these are loaded onto the fighter-interceptor’s impervium frame. This is in turn augmented with Sith alchemy, incorporated during the forging process of the ship’s metal, and lined with reinforced duraplast, further increasing its durability as well as providing a strong resistance to ionic weaponry. And even then the “Talon’s” SH-2/a.Z reinforced shield generator creates an exceptionally powerful field around the ship’s hull, fully capable of taking a direct hit from a heavy turbolaser with little effect, though it should be noted that repeated hits from a turbolaser will quickly overwhelm the shield.

As a fighter-interceptor and an omni-role starship the “Talon’s” technical loadout is as rich as its weapons loadout. Built to double as a stealth ship, she possesses overlapping cloaking systems and sensor jammers to work in tandem to create a nigh invisible craft; the ship’s Vanish 2 military sensor masking system, Mk. III Stygium cloaking device, and thrust trace dampener - all highly advanced military-grade stealth technologies - render the “Talon” invisible to both scanners and visible line of sight, while the full-spectrum distortion projector and 4x-Phantom short-range sensor jammer defeat any attempt by scanners to detect it, cloaked or no. Her engines likewise match the needs of an interceptor craft. Matching the speeds of even the famed TIE/D Defender, the “Talon’s" trio of P-sz9.7 twin ion engines - also equipped with baffler stealth technology - and pair of ion stream deflectors make her the fastest and most agile of any TIE line variant, allowing her to dominate in virtually any dogfight. The F-s5x flight avionics system, T-s9a targeting computer, 398X bomb sight and S-c4.1 multi-range TAG - traditionally installed on the TIE Defender, TIE Interceptor and TIE Bomber - provide highly attuned handling, targeting and detection. The K-blakan mini sensor allows the sensors to look behind it, removing the traditional blindspot of the TIE series. A RT-17 repulsor-tractor beam emitter can be used to maneuver objects in space or further enhance its speed when projected in the same direction as her engines. And with the magna lock the two can work in combination to secure the “Talon” into any position on virtually any object. Should an enemy craft somehow succeed in achieving a missile lock on the “Talon” the fighter-interceptor has sixteen chaff capsules to counter them. Likewise should she be disabled the “Talon” possesses life-support systems to sustain the pilot until she can be restarted or retrieved. And in worst case scenarios should she need to be abandoned the ship is equipped with an ejector seat.

Biography: Born on Obulette as a vassal of House Vassago, Joanna was raised in a military family with a long history of serving in their House’s naval forces. Her father, a vice admiral in the Vassagon House Guard, reared his daughter to inherit their family’s legacy of excellence in the House Guard, training Joanna to succeed him from an early age. Joanna would prove to possess a brilliant mind, enrolling in - and then graduating early from - the Imperial Academy, going on to join the Royal Imperial Academy on Coruscant where she graduated at the top of her class. Returning to Obulette at the age of twenty, she began serving in the Vassagon House Guard under her father where she worked alongside the-then young Mihaly Gottwald, acting as his commanding officer while the latter was still but a pilot. The two of them would form an enduring friendship based on mutual respect and admiration that would carry on through both their careers as they would occasionally cross paths in various operations after being redeployed. Joanna would quickly rise through the ranks, simultaneously developing a strong reputation as an inspiring leader, a formidable strategist, her unbroken record of victories and flawless conduct and her ability to command the tide of battle. Through her reputation and her spotless record, Joanna would come to garner the attention of Lord Xxys himself, who in turn had already discovered she was Force-sensitive - an ability that Joanna had unconsciously been using to further her advantage throughout her life. Promoted and elevated to serve House Vassago’s naval forces by the Dark Lord himself, Joanna went on to receive training in the Force from Lord Xxys, not as a Sith, but as a member of House Vassago’s navy.

As the chief commanding officer of House Vassago’s non-Sith forces under Lord Xxys’ command, Joanna oversaw the numerous operations throughout the sector. One such operation was during the Battle of Calipsa Run, where she demonstrated her prowess in the Force when she and her task unit intercepted a Void Wings pirate fleet attacking a Calipsan convoy passing through their province while bearing several dozen crates of Corusca gems. Unable to neutralize the pirates in time, the Void Wings were able to summon reinforcements while Joanna’s forces were still midway through clearing the Calipsan convoy of onboard pirates. Forced to engage the new wave of enemies Joanna and her fleet were flanked by the Void Wings’ reinforcements from the rear when the pirates, still hoping to capture the prized Corusca gems, activated a gravity well generator aboard one of their ships. Outnumbered three-to-one, Joanna called to House Vassago’s home fleet for reinforcements of her own before turning to the battle at hand. Utilizing her abilities in the Force and her training with Lord Xxys, Joanna was able to link together the minds of her shipmen into a unified fighting force. Combined with her powers of precognition and control over the very ships they flew she was able to hold the formation of her forces with minimal casualties, despite being heavily outnumbered. When the reinforcements from House Vassago arrived she was able to link their minds with her forces mid-battle to take out the enemy interdictor. Once it had been disabled Joanna once again used the Force to make a hyperspace micro-jump, flanking the enemy and trapping them against her bolstered forces and surrounding them, forcing them to surrender and decisively ending the battle in victory. In the aftermath during the debriefing with Lord Xxys, Joanna was rewarded with a promotion to vice admiral in House Vassago’s fleet as well as the callsign “Matriarch” for the queenly and maternal way she commanded her subordinates, highlighted especially from what her forces had told the Dark Lord during their debriefings in the wake of the battle.

After her promotion to vice admiralty, Joanna was tasked with finding worthy individuals to man the positions of leadership within House Vassago’s upcoming nascent Ravencrown fleet. Together with Karros Zaruiel, one of the Sith serving Lord Xxys and a known ally to House Vassago’s armed forces who had also been charged with Ravencrown fleet’s creation, she scoured the Tapani Sector for those worthy enough to serve. She would find them amongst the leadership of the other Tapani noble Houses. With her skilled persuasion Joanna was able to convince them to join Ravencrown fleet as representatives of their native Houses and as honorary members of House Vassago, thus indirectly bringing their Houses’ military might under House Vassago’s control. She now works in close concert with the Sith, her fellow leaders of Ravencrown high command, and the members of Corvus squadron in order to consistently bring about complete and decisive victories for House Vassago.

Enneagram Type 6 - The Loyalist

Biography: Born on Calipsa as a scion of his House’s namesake, Zaeur grew up serving in House Calipsa’s shipping and smuggling industry. From a young age he was taught how to fly and maintain smaller vessels, working his way up from deckhand at age ten, to deck officer to a captain of his own frigate. As he traveled through the galaxy during his career, Zaeur interacted with a wide variety of people, ranging from ordinary civilian and military personnel of other worlds to Core World politicians and the galactic criminal underworld. From these numerous interactions he was able to gain a perspective on how to operate his career on a galactic scale. This perspective, and the friendships he forged along his travels, would prove invaluable in House Calipsa’s trade and smuggling businesses. Through his connections Zaeur founded a sprawling interplanetary trade and communications network that profited House Calipsa millions of credits weekly.

It was during this lucrative period that Zaeur’s network attracted the attention of the Besadii Kajidic of the Hutt cartel. Seeking to usurp this network and its profits for themselves, the Besadii Hutts began making efforts to undermine House Calipsa’s trade network, first by attempting to infiltrate it by sending in spies. When those attempts failed they tried to intercept classified messages as they were being transmitted between the different levels of command. And when those attempts failed they tried to blackmail and coerce lower ranking sailors into surrendering access codes. Each and every time they were foiled by Zaeur, who used his wit and knowledge to thwart the Besadii’s efforts. Over the years the Besadii would become more and more infuriated and impatient with each plan that was ruined. Eventually they decided what they could not take by subterfuge they would take by force. Mustering an armada of bounty hunters and Kaijidc enforcers, the Besadii descended on Zaeur’s fleet as it was resupplying on Kessel. What the Besadii didn’t know was that Zaeur had already been tipped off of the attack several days in advance through his informant network. Armed with this knowledge Zauer had assembled a trap of his own. Tipping off the Desilijic Hutt clan, who were long time enemies of the Besadii, along with several other syndicates of the attack, Zauer offered a mutually lucrative trade deal should they assist. The Desilijic and the other syndicates eagerly agreed. The Besadii assault quickly turned into a massacre. Just as the Besadii dropped out of hyperspace over the Calipsan fleet and began launching their assault craft, the Desilijic and the allies dropped out of hyperspace behind them, creating an encircling formation that surrounded the Besadii and outnumbered them four to one. After several minutes of being eradicated in furious ship-to-ship combat, the Besadii capitulated, their force decimated. After taking the Besadii Hutt leading the assault as a prize, the Desilijic and the allied syndicates signed a formal treaty of friendship with Zauer before departing back to Hutt space. This treaty would further House Calipsa’s wealth and prosperity, though rumors would abound among the Tapani Houses over how their wealth was obtained. These achievements would earn him the moniker and callsign of “Odysseus” for his cleverness and tactical thinking that won them these victories.

Years later, when Zaeur and a modest Calipsan task force of just under a dozen ships set out to deliver a large shipment of Corusca gems to Kor Desilijic as part of a trade payment, they were ambushed by a massive Void Wings pirate fleet intent on capturing the shipment. Gathering his forces Zaeur was able to muster his men to hold the line, stalling the pirates while he sent out a distress call to their allies, hoping that the defense would buy them the needed time for reinforcements to arrive. The Void Wings would whittle away their forces, even being able to launch a boarding party onto the convoy. However while the boarding party struggled to seize control of the vessel, the Calipsans’ distress call was answered by a task force from House Vassago, led by Joanna Caelstel, who had been nearby patrolling the area. However, even with the arrival of Joanna’s forces, Zaeur and the Calipsans were still hopelessly outnumbered. To his surprise Joanna was able to lead the charge against the pirates with uncanny skill and coordination. The Vassagons were able to engage the Void Wings with nary a loss, keeping them distracted until their reinforcements arrived. After said reinforcements dropped out of hyperspace, the Vassagons were able to disable the pirates interdictor, and with their new freedom of mobility, made a hyperspace micro-jump to trap the pirate fleet in a surrounding pincer, cutting down over three-fourths of the enemy forces before forcing them to surrender.

In the aftermath of the battle Zaeur personally thanks Joanna for her intervention. As a show of gratitude he offered his services as a member of House Calipsa’s forces and as an envoy. Joanna accepted; his skill in diplomacy and his knowledge in galactic politics during their long conversation had impressed Joanna. Over the course of the following weeks Zaeur and Joanna would develop a strong friendship based on respect and admiration of each others’ tactical and strategic acumen and their shared passion for starships and space warfare. When Zauer was offered honorary membership in House Vassago and the chance to serve in Ravencrown fleet’s high command by Joanna, he accepted. Bringing with him his experience and ties with galactic politics and the various factions within it, Zauer now acts as Joanna’s right hand and Ravencrown’s chief diplomatic agent and advisor.

Enneagram Type 3 - The Achiever

Biography: The only child of the Meliwess family, Taevion hails from a long line of military officers and engineers within House Reena. Already an extremely gifted and intelligent child, wise beyond his years, he rose quickly through the ranks as a student in House Reena’s academy, graduating from secondary school early at age fifteen. He would similarly graduate early from Imperial Academy on Raithal at the age of twenty. Returning to Reena he would join his House’s naval engineering corps following High Lord Panes’ policy for the gradual growth of the House’s military strength. During this time Taevion would naturally rise through the ranks for his discipline, his drive, and his skill in being able to reapply his knowledge to virtually any situation, making him an invaluable asset to the growth of the corps. He would even go on to create several weapon designs, both vehicular and sidearm, that eventually became part of House Reena’s standard military outfit.

Over time Taevion’s designs grew increasingly prestigious with each passing iterations as their effectiveness was continually proven on the battlefield. This prestige would extend to ears beyond the Tapani Sector, reaching the attention of the criminal underworld. The Ivax syndicate, having learned of Taevion’s work, decided that they would steal his latest work; an experimental repeating ion cannon. Breaking into House Reena’s military research facilities in a daring night raid, the Ivax were able to make off with the cannon while leaving a large portion of the facility in ruins. Enraged, Taevion swore revenge on the syndicate and vowed to recover the stolen cannon. Obtaining leave to pursue the Ivax, Taevion began to search for leads in his hunt. However, lacking any such leads and not yet having identified the thieves, he began making his way down the Procopian Shipping Lane, stopping at each system along the way to inquire if the inhabitants had seen the thieves. He would eventually encounter Zauer Penedal at Procopia who at the time was conducting a smuggling translation of his own. Hearing of Taevion’s plight, and identifying Taevion’s thieves as the Ivax syndicate - as the latter had recently reneged on a deal with House Calipsa - Zaeur offered his help. Taevion accepted. Together the two men set out for the Anoat sector on an eight-week long hunt across five different planets that would culminate with the eradication of the Bespin chapter of the Ivax syndicate and the recovery of the ion cannon.

During their travels Taevion would bond with Zauer over many of their shared interests, particularly on their shared intellect and knowledge on engineering, though Taevion would prove to be the more educated in the latter field. Though he would discover Zaeur’s ties to the underworld - and openly express his distaste for it, given his own recent experience with crime syndicates - Taevion would develop as deep sense of respect for his companion and a strong abiding friendship by the time the two men returned victorious to the Tapani Sector. Even after parting ways the two men would remain in contact, lending each other aid and advice in what small measures they could. When Zaeur was given a position in House Vassago’s Ravencrown fleet, he immediately recommended Taevion to help fill the leadership’s then-present vacancies. Arranging a meeting during one of their get-togethers, Zaeur, Taevion and Joanna Caelstel - the fleet’s vice admiral and Zaeur’s commanding officer - sat down together to discuss the proposition. During the meeting Joanna would become quite impressed with both Taevion’s demeanor and credentials before going on to pass her assessment to Lord Xxys, who approved appointing him to Ravencrown leadership. During the early days of his tenure he would even go on to help Karros Zaruiel design several of Ravencrown’s ships as well as the vessels of Corvus squadron, earning himself the moniker and later callsign of “Blacksmith”. Now he stands as the fleet’s informal head of weaponry and engineering through which all designs and constructs are approved and implemented.

Enneagram Type 5 - The Investigator

Biography: Born and raised on Pelagon, Marcus grew up as part of the upper nobility of the Illivitan branch family of House Pelagia, enjoying the finest that his family’s resources had to offer. Taking a shine to a number of engineering disciplines during his school years as well as developing a talent for slicing into technologies of all varieties, Marcus would carry these skills into his time at both the Imperial Academy and the Imperial Engineers Academy. After graduating from both schools he returned to Pelagon to serve as a member of his House’s Defense Force, providing further knowledge and logistical support for the rebuilding of its military prowess.

After only three years into his tenure House Pelagia erupted into conflict with the Corporate Sector Authority, who had established an unauthorized and militarized outpost in the Obelia system in an effort to expand their influence into the Tapani Sector. Marcus was enlisted as a member of the task force to infiltrate the outpost. Tasked with retrieving itel from, then insert surveillance tech into the C.S.A. outpost, he and his platoon were inserted into the operational area via troop drop pods before making their way into the building. Initially their progress went smoothly as the platoon was able to infiltrate the outpost undetected. However complications arose when Marcus’ commanding officer ordered his team to detonate the building’s reactor, intending to demolish the structure via explosion, after the intel had been extracted instead of the platoon simply bugging it. Marcus, being the designated slicer for the mission, objected, and refused to carry out his duty if his commanding officer was going to carry out his insubordination. Exerting his authority in the chain of command the lieutenant demanded that Marcus and his comrades carry out his orders. When Marcus refused to perform his role in extracting the data in protest, the lieutenant attempted to slice the data himself. Untrained and unprepared for such a task, the lieutenant set off the building alarm in his attempt to extract the data. As enemy forces began converging on Marcus and his team, Marcus quickly took control of the command console, slicing into its programing and taking control of the building’s systems. Selectively activating and deactivating the building’s defenses Marcus was able to cordon off the room the platoon was in from the approaching hostiles by sealing the blast doors leading to the room. Having bought enough time for his team to extract the data and begin formulating a plan of escape, Marcus, utilizing his knowledge in structural engineering, began to selectively reactivating the building’s internal defenses - having used his slicing skills to turn them on their owners - while also selectively overloading portions of the outpost’s power grid, causing those select areas to detonate as a result, killing the enemies unfortunate enough to be caught up in the explosions, and providing them a route of escape. Successfully escaping back to House Pelagia’s headquarters with all hands intact, his commanding officer was severely disciplined for derailing the original plan, while Marcus himself barely escaped similar punishment for his insubordination, having made up for his actions by proving instrumental in his platoon’s escape. However he was suspended from partaking in field missions for several weeks before Pelagian Command allowed him to return to active duty.

Returning to the front lines and having earned the callsign of “Gray Hat” after the slicing profession for his exploits on Obelia, Marcus resumed his role on the platoon as a slicer and engineering combatant. However, the second day after returning to active duty, Marcus was summoned to Pelagian Command’s headquarters. Arriving at headquarters, Marcus was met by his commanding officer and the vice admiral of House Vassago’s naval forces, Joanna Caelstel. She informed the two Pelagians that she had been tracking down Corporate Sector Authority forces that had been interfering with multiple Houses all across the Tapani Sector and her search had led her to the Pelagia Province. From there she had discovered that the now abandoned C.S.A. outpost - that object of her search - had already been dealt with, with an investigative search of the ruins hours after the explosion had informed her of House Pelagia’s involvement. The investigation eventually revealed Marcus being the individual instrumental to the outpost’s demise. Using her Sith contacts to track him down, Joanna explained that she was assembling the leaders of House Vassago’s upcoming fleet at Lord Xxys’ behest, that she had been looking for someone of Marcus’ skillset, competence and personality, and offered a place in Ravencrown fleet command, stating that she wanted him to join her in House Vassago’s service. Surprised and somewhat hesitant, Marcus asked for time to consider the offer, which he would accept several days later. Meshing surprisingly seamlessly with the other leaders, he now serves as a member of Ravencrown fleet’s high command and the fleet’s de facto chief of cybersecurity.

Myer-Briggs Type - Sentinel: Executive ESTJ-A

Enneagram Type 1 - The Reformer

Biography: A son of a prominent member of House Cadriaan, Dalton was the third child in a family of six. His father, an officer in House Cadriaan’s Defense Force, instilled in his children a deep love of starship piloting, exploration and the cultural arts at an early age. Like his siblings Dalton would not only embrace their father’s passions but come to excel at them. During his time at the Imperial Academy he would be renowned for his skills as a musician. After graduating he would go on to serve in the Imperial Survey Corps. Because the corps was perpetually understaffed even before his arrival Dalton was given a striking amount of freedom during his tenure to pursue his goals. Due to the limited number of other survey corp members, his talents as a starship pilot shone through early on, allowing him to easily climb the ranks to a position of leadership where he streamlined and optimized the way the corp operated. Within a matter of months Dalton would rise to the rank of staff sergeant where he would contribute greatly to the expansion of the galactic map, especially the Wild Space region. During one expedition Dalton and his ship, the “Starling”, were caught in an asteroid storm as they were plotting out an extension of the Tingel Route. Snapping into action and personally taking the controls as his ship dropped out of hyperspace into the storm, Dalton masterfully maneuvered the ship through the onslaught of rock and debris. His co-pilots would describe him as “a falcon in the storm”. The description would be later codified into his callsign as “Stormbird” in remembrance of the event.

Though Dalton would have a remarkably successful career in the Survey Corps, discovering and charting nearly a dozen new planetary systems and hyperspace routes, after over ten years in its service Dalton left the corps to return home and join House Cadriaan’s Defense force like his father before him. His timing was of no coincidence; the head of House Cadriaan’s Defense force had recalled him to Achillea to combat a rising threat. The Night Fangs pirates had been raiding the hyperlanes that connected Cadriaan Province’s worlds. One of these raids had ended up capturing the High Lord’s daughter where she was currently being leveraged as a ransom hostage. Until their ransom was paid, they would continue their raids. Should any of their victims resist, they would kill the High Lord’s daughter. Unable to openly resist the pirates, the High Lord had tasked the head of the Defense Force to assemble a covert task force to bring his daughter back. The head of the Defense Force in turn had called upon Dalton to lead the rescue team. Answering the call, Dalton put his knowledge gleaned during his time in the Survey Corps to use; as a pilot and a hyperspace scout Dalton used his skills to search the province for the pirates. When the pirates struck again, Dalton and his team were able to track them to the Shindra’s Veil nebula, where the pirates had established their hideout aboard their headquarters ship. Using this information Dalton was able to formulate a series of micro-hyperspace routes around and into the nebula. From there he and Cadriaan Command was able to launch a surprise attack on the Night Fangs, surrounding them by dropping out of hyperspace all around them and quickly disabling their ships, successfully rescuing the High Lord’s daughter. For his valiant efforts the High Lord awarded Dalton the aurodium Tapani Medal of Honor as well as promotion to one-star admiral within the House Defense Force.

Not long after he had begun settling into his new command, Dalton received a message from Joanna Caelstel, a leading member of House Vassago’s naval forces. She informed him that word of his feat had reached her ears and, exceedingly impressed, said that she wanted someone like him to join her and House Vassago’s nascent Ravencrown fleet. Explaining this as an opportunity for a unified Tapani Sector military force, Joanna offered Dalton a position of leadership in Ravencrown fleet’s high command. Seeing the offer as a chance to properly represent House Cadriaan’s interests in a unified force, Dalton accepted on the condition that he was allowed to maintain ties with House Cadriaan’s military forces. Joanna, after conferring with Lord Xxys, agreed. Dalton now acts as one of the chief coordinators for both fighters and the smaller capital ships of Ravencrown, organizing many of their battle tactics on the micro level.

Myer-Briggs Type - Explorer: ESTP-A

Enneagram Type 2 - The Helper

Biography: Originally a ward of House Melantha instead of member proper, Raegal was raised in the Jaset household as both a servant and one of its reluctant heirs. The reason for this treatment was because his grandmother was one of High Lord Bal Jaset’s mistresses and his father was one of the High Lord’s illegitimate children. Though he was never openly stigmatized for his illegitimacy, Raegal’s station and the ultimate preference of his legitimate cousins’ opinions over his own left a sour taste in his mouth during his early childhood. Centering himself in the company of his fellow illegitimate cousins Raegal would form a childhood bond with them as the group grew up together on the grounds of the Jaset estate. Forming a closely knit circle the illegitimate children would help each other with the household chores. When the boys among them became old enough to begin training to eventually serve as soldiers in House Melantha’s Defense Force, Raegal became the de facto leader among them. As they grew up they were given preparatory training in addition to their daily chores in the form of physical fitness routines and lessons in military combat. During these years Raegal would develop a fondness for various forms of boxing - a love and skill that he would perfect over the years - eventually earning himself the nickname “Discus” for the skill in executing his favorite wrestling maneuver, a moniker that would eventually carry over into his military service as his official callsign.

When he and the other illegitimate young men came of age they joined the House Defense Force with the goal of becoming infantry units. Together with Raegal as their leader they would prove themselves an exceptionally skilled unit, going on to eventually form the House’s 12th drop trooper infantry platoon, affectionately nicknamed “the Pugs” for the pugnacious attitude they took into combat. The Pugs would go on to serve a number of successful operations ranging from covertly ferrying relief supplies to boarding parties on ship-to-ship seizures against roving pirates. Over the course of their service the platoon would be given their own corvette to operate out of as well as five complimentary starfighters. Using their newly gifted ships Raegal quickly taught himself how to become a pilot, which after several months of self-training he would become a particularly talented pilot.

Unfortunately it would not be enough to prevent defeat from befalling him and his platoon. Following a string of victories by successfully ambushing smuggling convoys attempting to exit the Melantha Province, the Pugs set out to what they believed just another small pirate convoy ripe for ambush. Instead they walked right into a trap. Disabling the two escorts and boarding the remaining third ship the platoon discovered that it was crewed only by a lone droid. They had only realized their situation when a fleet from the Fivaran Organization dropped out of hyperspace. Surrounded, the Pugs’ corvette was quickly shot down by fire from ion cannons while the ship they were on was overwhelmed by boarding swarms of pirates. They were on the brink of defeat when Joanna Caestel’s fleet dropped out of hyperspace in full force, activating their ships’ gravity well projectors to trap the pirates from fleeing, though several ships were able to escape to hyperspace beyond the range of the gravity well. Acting as unexpected but welcome reinforcements, Raegal and the Pugs used the opportunity to help push back the pirates, defeating them, before offering parley to Joanna to explain the situation. Intrigued by the situation, Joanna accepted Raegal’s offer of parley. Brought aboard Joanna’s flagship, Raegal and the Pugs would meet their savior. Explaining the situation with Joanna, Raegal discovered that she had been tracking the activities of the Fivaran Organization all across the Tapani Sector. Seeing that they shared a common goal - and since the Pugs were bereft of a functioning ship - Raegal offered to help Joanna in her pursuit of the remaining pirates to repay their debt. For her part, Joanna’s forces had been noticeably depleted in the skirmish and she did not feel comfortable pursuing without returning to base for more men. With the Pugs, she did not need to worry about such a thing. So she accepted his offer.

Over the course of four weeks Joanna, Raegal, and the Pugs would one by one eliminate each of the remaining pirates. Surprised at the civility his savior offered him and the Pugs during their time together, Raegal would develop a strong sense of respect for Joanna, impressed by how - contrary to how he had initially imagined they might treat a non-noble such as himself - they respected him for his skill and not lineage. Joanna especially earned his esteem when she expressed her admiration for the effectiveness of his tactics and for the bond she had witnessed between him and his men. The latter of the two would be the shared virtue of their kind of leadership that would go on to become the foundational principle of their friendship. After the last of the pirates were eliminated, Joanna revealed that she had been searching for select individuals to recruit to House Vassago’s budding Ravencrown fleet and offered Raegal a place in the fleet’s high command. For the Pugs Joanna offered a place in their naval drop trooper division where they could continue performing as drop troops. Seeing the offer as not only a gesture of respect towards him and his men but a promotion as well, Raegal conferred with the Pugs and, with their unanimous approval, accepted. He now works alongside Dalton Glastan as Ravencrown’s chief astrocartographer in exploring the galaxy and coordinating Ravencrown’s troop movements.

The Fourteen Squadrons of Ravencrown Fleet

A brief description of the lead squadrons of Ravencrown fleet, including their tactics, overall personalities, combat roles and choice of starcraft.

Wraith Squadron
The twelve pilots given exclusive access to the “Nosferatu” stealth starfighter, Wraith squadron is Ravencrown’s dedicated cloaker and covert ops unit. Reclusive, patient, calculating and lethally skilled in what they do, Wraith squadron pilots are known throughout Ravencrown forces as House Vassago’s clandestine naval strike force. Trained specifically for black ops missions these pilots are precise and deadly as they carry out orders known only to Ravencrown high command and Lord Xxys who commands them in turn.

Reaver Squadron
Every military force has a unit dedicated to guerilla and irregular warfare. And Ravencrown fleet is no different. To this end the fleet has Reaver squadron, dedicated hit-and-run skirmishers for engaging the enemy away from the front lines. Containing some of the most colorful and expressive personalities in House Vassago’s otherwise stoical navy, the pilots of Reaver squadron are no less skilled nor disciplined than their fellow counterparts when the situation demands it of them, harassing and driving the enemy force to where the fleet needs it.

Hurricane Squadron
When the mission takes place in the eye of the storm and Ravencrown must fly through arcs of lightning in the sky or the gailing winds of a blizzard, the fleet calls upon Hurricane squadron to lead the way. Poor weather specialists, this squadron excels in flying adverse conditions ranging from hail storms and hurricanes to blizzards and dust storms, using their knowledge to traverse the tumultuous sky to clear the path for the rest of the fleet. With level heads disguising their love of adrenaline, they fly with dauntless courage and unmatched skill in the storm-tossed skies.

Spartan Squadron
Made up of former infantrymen who chose to take to the skies, Spartan squadron are air-to-ground assault specialists, uniquely suited for making attack runs against defensive emplacements and entrenched anti-air enemies. Cool under fire, steady-handed on the control stick, and equipped with the unique knowledge of how ground combat works, the pilots of Spartan squadron execute their missions cleanly and precisely. Using the knowledge of ground-based warfare from their previous station, Spartan squadron makes short work of any who might resist the final push of Ravencrown’s assault.

Archon Squadron
Dedicated fighter escorts for VIPs, Archon squadron acts as the final line of defense for those moving towards the shelter of Ravencrown’s wings. Devoted to Ravencrown and those who fall under their charge, the pilots of Archon are tenacious, unflinching and iron-willed. Theirs is the safeguarding the security of all who fly alongside the forces of House Vassago. As the last line of defense, Archon squadron possesses the mental fortitude and sternness of spirit matched only by their counterparts in Templar squadron.

Gladius Squadron
The backbone of Ravencrown’s air-to-air fighting force, Gladius squadron acts as the fleet’s aerial and space superiority specialists. Steadfast, unified and unwavering in the face of danger, Gladius squadron’s pilots boldly and fearlessly fly full-throttle into the heat of battle where other squadrons would linger to muster their courage before doing the same. Possibly the most confident and skilled at dogfighting of all of Ravencrown’s core starfighter squadrons, the pilots of Gladius squadron are renown for collectively having the highest kill count of all of House Vassago’s navy forces, second only to Corvus squadron and Razgriz squadron.

Nighthawk Squadron
Sometimes Ravencrown’s operations require moving under the cover of darkness. As night-op specialists, Nighthawk squadron is able to act as Ravencrown’s spearhead for missions that take place in the night. Highly disciplined, bold, efficient, and renowned amongst House Vassago’s naval forces for their status as a pseudo-covert ops task force, they take pride in their ability as frequently being chosen to clear the landing zone of night operations and their skill in carrying out their missions without the aid of more advanced cloaking technology.

Falcon Squadron
First to take to the skies when the first shots have been fired and first to return the salvo to the enemy, Falcon squadron is Ravencrown fleet’s first responders and first wavers in any operation. Fast-moving, quick-witted and decisive, Falcon squadron is known for their ability to improvise on the fly in virtually any situation in order to bring victory to Ravencrown. With their signature deceptively chaotic formations and tactics, they quickly scramble and intercept any hostile craft as the fleet’s vanguard starfighters.

Blaze Squadron
A bomber squadron with a particular set of skills, Blaze squadron favors incendiary and non-conventional bombing tactics to eliminate infantry forces. Eclectic, energetic and ever-so-slightly pyromaniacal, the pilots of Blaze squadron take great enthusiasm in their work. Despite their unorthodox energy in comparison to the rest of Ravencrown, they maintain an extremely high level of coordination, versatility and effectiveness in carrying out their missions. Tasked with delivering payloads of unusual and unconventional nature, Blaze pilots know how to handle such anomalous weaponry better than anyone else. From chemical warheads to nuclear bombs they deliver every payload with unmatched fervor and pinpoint accuracy.

Gatling Squadron
Favoring strafing tactics with laser cannons against more mobile enemies, Gatling squadron specializes in eliminating speedier hostiles while they are on the move. Relying on their squadron’s virtues of mobility, perceptiveness, and decisiveness, Gatling squadron are some of Ravencrown’s most flexible and adaptive core pilots alongside those of Falcon squadron. Perceptive, agile, watchful and focused, Gatling squadron’s pilots keep a hard thumb on the pulse of battle, monitoring vigilantly and adjusting accordingly at a moment’s notice.

Cestus Squadron
Acting as Ravencronw’s dedicated bomber unit, like their namesake Cestus squadron uses their “Ifrit” strategic bombers to punch through the defenses of capital ships and ground defenses alike to great effect. Fierce, driven, and relentless in their drive for success, Cestus pilots are known for carrying the day through sheer persistence and unwillingness to back down in the tensest of battles. Like its namesake, Cestus squadron relishes in delivering some of the most crippling blows Ravencrown’s non-capital ships can deliver.

Thunderbird Squadron
Specializing in ion weaponry-based tactics, when the leaders of Ravencrown need a ship captured or disabled, it is Thunderbird squadron they dispatch to the target. Precise, focused, hyper-disciplined and hyper-synchronized in all efforts, in and out of the cockpit, the pilots of Thunderbird squadron demonstrate a coordinated group-awareness rivaling a human hive mind. This synchronization makes them an extremely formidable unit to be reckoned with. Using swarming tactics to overwhelm the enemy Thunderbird pilots swiftly neutralize any who oppose them.

Chariot Squadron
The greatest set of wingmen of Ravencrown fleet, Chariot squadron takes up its role within the fleet as fighter escort for her bombers and landing craft. Flying besides Blaze, Cestus, and Thunderbird squadrons, Chariot squadron provides the much needed support for the bombers of Ravencrown. Adaptive, supportive, and quick to provide the much needed cover for their wards, Chariot squadron excels at shielding Ravencrown’s bombers from enemy assault and clearing the way for their bombing runs. Often playing the first line of defense for their bomber brethern, they guard their fellow squadrons with fervor and vigilance as the latter carries out their mission.

Templar Squadron
Flying Ravencrown fleet’s “Hercules” attack landers, Templar squadron is made up of the finest pilots in regards to delivering the precious payload of human lives to the front lines. Serving as the wings that carry House Vassago’s troops to the landing zone, Templar squadron’s pilots are stoic, fearless, noble, and carry with them an indomitable spirit. Beneath their wings they ferry Ravencrown’s ground forces to the battlefield through fire and flak. From infantry and tanks to walkers and preconstructed bases, Templar squadron provides the foundation of any of House Vassago’s final stages of planetary assault.

The twelve members who make up the elite strike force known as Corvus squadron - known amongst themselves as Corvuns - were each personally handpicked by Lord Xxys himself. Methodically and exhaustively screened and tested for both capability and compatibility, the members of Corvus squadron are among the best - if not the best - non-Force sensitive starfighter pilots in the Order. Utilized by Lord Xxys as his personal task force on the ground, in the sky and in space, they are whispered of like ghosts amongst the hushed circles of those who know of them. To have Corvus squadron attending to a mission is to have garnered the Dark Lord’s attention - though whether for good or ill remains to be seen. Armed with cutting-edge starcraft technology and even rumored experimental tech, the members of Corvus squadron dominate the skies and realspace they take flight in. Even out of the cockpit the members of Corvus squadron are a deadly force to be reckoned with, for even without their wings they are armed with military weaponry and training, able to take down even the most formidable of foes. Likened as a family they have unbreakable bonds that form the foundation of their unity and effectiveness. They will not stop until they have achieved their goals and accomplished the mission. And woe to he who harms one of them. For should ill befall a single Corvun, the merciless wrath of the others will quickly follow. Outfitted with deadly weapons, training and starcraft on the bleeding edge of the Order’s technological industry, the members of Corvus squadron are able to carry out their mission with lethal efficiency.

Strengths: Charismatic, charming, able to win over most with conversation alone. Has a commanding presence and air able to compel others to do as he says by sheer force of personality. A talented leader with an excellent mind for military strategy, both naval and planetary. An equally sharp mind for reading the cues and mood of his squadron and the tide of battle.

Flaws: Though he keeps it well hidden and well under control due to years of serving under Lord Xxys, he is a bit of an egotist due to his earned station and his proven skill which he elects to channel productively through his role as squadron captain.

Biography: Born on Corellia, Tiber is the son of a distinguished military family with ancestral links to Grand Moff Tarkin and attended the Imperial Academy, graduating from its Avionics course at the top of his class. Joining the Imperial Navy, he quickly rose through the ranks due to his skill as a pilot and a commander, eventually reaching a position with his own command. Tiber engaged in many skirmishes throughout his career, primarily serving as the leading edge of the vanguard in sector skirmishes against pirates and in disputes between the Order and the criminal syndicates of the galaxy. Over the years his continued successes earned him many accolades and he became something of a living legend in the Order’s naval forces. His ability to pilot a starfighter and his ability to turn the tide of seemingly any battle caused him to be revered among the younger generations and a model for what they could become. It was in one such skirmish that his squadron was badly outnumbered. Tiber, his fighter severely damaged beyond the point of salvaging, decided to take down as many of the enemies with him. In a daring move, he overloaded the engines and set all his remaining munitions to detonate. Veering his craft into the bridge of the enemy flagship, he ejected at the last possible moment in his fighter's ejection seat. His move won the battle against otherwise lost odds and earned him a commendation and a double promotion. In the same vein, Tiber's move earned him the attention of Lord Xxys, who, after several more months of behind-the-scenes screening and testing, invited him to become the second member of his then nascent Corvus squadron. Tiber accepted and Lord Xxys appointed him as captain and co-deputy of the squadron alongside Colonel Mihaly who would act as mission control aboard the "Echidna", Corvus squadron's mobile headquarters. Upon his induction Lord Xxys gifted Tiber with a signet ring representing his trust and his station, along with his new callsign in honor of the daring move that earned his attention; "Scorpion". Tiber has since repaid said trust with unwavering loyalty and resounding successes carried out with unquestioning confidence, regardless of the order. He has developed a strong friendship with Mihaly Gottwald based on mutual respect, trust and admiration for the other’s piloting and tactical prowess. Amongst the members of Corvus squadron he acts akin to a father-figure, rallying and focusing the Corvuns as the situation demands. He is one of the few surviving members of the original Corvus squadron.

Languages: Galactic Basic, Huttese, Military Sign,

Description of Abilities: Excellent marksman, specializes in sniper capabilities. Trained for solo missions behind enemy lines. Likewise an excellent starfighter pilot. Uses similar tactics in naval combat. Able to perform rudimentary first aid.

Strengths: Excels at solo missions, improvisation and overall adapting to new situations. Able to withstand long periods of isolation at little to no emotional or mental depriment. Excellent observational and awareness skills that have saved Corvus squadron from being blindsided more than once.

Flaws: Difficulty and/or unwillingness to share his thoughts with others. “Lone wolf” mentality leading to occasional issues with coordinating with squadmates.

Biography: Originally trained as a sniper for House Vassago’s special forces infantry division, Gaebriel was raised around a very military-minded crowd. His father, an infantry soldier, often brought Gaebriel along with him whenever he met with his old military friends. This allowed Gaebriel to be informally trained from a very early age in many military disciplines which became a part of his childhood. In the same vein these very teachings made him take on a much more mature mindset for his age, isolating him from the other children. This resulted in his childhood being distant from others and forced him to rely on himself and the military teachings he had grown up with. It was these teachings that naturally aligned him for a military career and channeled his focus into improving his martial skillset. Choosing to take the role of a sniper Gaebriel excelled in his profession, garnering the attention of the brass and quickly propelling him through the ranks. As his accomplishments earned him accolades and freedoms, Gaebriel asked for three things; to receive training as a starfighter pilot, be given his own starfighter to execute missions with and to be given permission for solo missions where he knew he’d be given more or less full autonomy. The board of commissions granted his requests. Soon afterwards he underwent starfighter training and was assigned long-range surveillance missions on pirates and Hutt cartels. It was during one of these missions that he encountered Tiber Shilage while he was on one of his own classified missions. Together the two of them worked together to ambush a gathering of crime syndicates on the ice planet of Fest. In a daring move Gaebriel deliberately flew his starfighter into a snowdrift overlooking the ambush site where it was buried underneath the snow. Using the snowdrift as camouflage over Gaebriel sniped the criminals from the shelter of his open cockpit. When the criminals realized they were under attack they charged his position, only to realize Gaebriel had already returned to his fighter’s cockpit and was aiming his craft’s cannon right at them through the snowdrift. As he opened fire on them at what amounted to point blank range, Tiber dove through the cloud cover from high altitude to begin a strafing run on the fleeing criminals. Gaebrial joined him in the sky and the two of them worked in tandem to destroy the meeting. The ambush was a resounding success. The pair of them captured, killed or destroyed all of the attending criminals and smashed their ground and aerial reinforcements when they arrived. Mutually impressed by how well they worked together, the two of them parted as good friends as they separated to report back to their superiors. Several months later Gaebriel received an invitation from Lord Xxys to join Corvus squadron. His performance had impressed Tiber so much that the captain had recommended him to Lord Xxys to fill a vacant spot in the squadron. Lord Xxys had followed through on that recommendation with the customary screening and found him satisfactory. Gaebriel took up Lord Xxys’ offer and was appointed as Corvus 3, gifted with the callsign “Snowfire” by Tiber in honor of the tactic he used at the ambush. Though fully aware of Lucan Torhall’s jealousy of him, he largely dismisses it, considering the rivalry as beneath both of them and seeing it frivolous and unnecessary.

Biography: The middle child of a branch family of the noble House Melantha, Lucan hungered for the chance at adventure ever since he was a small child. Though somewhat sheltered and a little spoiled by his parents, Lucan wanted more than his politically oriented family offered. His older brother was being groomed for the inter-House politics of the sector and his younger sister was nursing her budding talents as a court musician. Lucan, however, was emotionally distant from his family and wanted something more than a life confined to the politics that seemingly surrounded him. Partially out of boredom and partially out of a sense of adventure he recklessly threw himself into every physical activity his highborn status would permit him. Lucan found his passion in classical dueling and starfighter piloting where he poured every moment of his spare time into. Training with the best tutors his family’s money could afford, Lucan quickly found himself a familiar name among both professional and amateur pilots in the region and a rising prodigy with the sword in the local dueling community. In a brash moment of overconfident recklessness he challenged the sector’s dueling champion to a duel using live blades when he was seventeen. Not only did he lose the duel but he lost his offhand as well. It was a bitter and humbling experience for him. Impressed by Lucan’s daring as well as for performing extraordinarily well for his skill level, the champion took him in as her personal student after he’d been given a cybernetic hand to replace his lost limb. Under her tutelage he became a master swordsman before the young age of nineteen. After secondary school Lucan joined the Imperial Naval Academy - joining the Imperial Navy afterwards - where he excelled, taking a spot in his class’s top ten at graduation but not at number one. This perceived slight pushed him to more aggressively pursue more and more missions in an effort to prove himself as well as act more aggressively on missions. Though brilliantly effective as arguably the best pilot in his group, his zealous behavior frequently brought him into conflict with his field officer, who found him harder to reign in, while the commanding lieutenant found his behavior effective in carrying out the mission. This conflict came to a head when his naval group was deployed against a Black Sun fleet. Lucan’s allies fought bravely but they were on the verge of defeat. The group’s leaders ordered a retreat. Unbeknownst to the group’s leaders Corvus squadron had been tracking the enemy fleet as well and arrived on the scene just as Lucan’s forces were falling back. Lucan was covering the rear of the retreat when Corvus squadron appeared. Spotting them as they began engaging the Black Sun forces, Lucan insisted that his forces return to the battle, believing that Corvus squadron was surprise reinforcements. The group’s leaders, unaware of who Corvus squadron was and unwilling to commit the remainder of their forces when they were already so ragged, refused and ordered the continuation of the retreat. Frustrated by the apparent abandonment of outnumbered allied forces, Lucan broke off from his group to join Corvus squadron in the battle while his group left him behind as they jumped into hyperspace. Lucan’s participation proved crucial to the battle’s victory, including two instances where he intercepted an enemy kamikaze from colliding with the "Echidna" at the ultimate cost of his own starfighter. Lucan was able to survive thanks to his vacuum-sealed flight suit and the ejector seat installed in his starfighter. Picked up by the Echidna during the aftermath of the battle Corvus squadron thanked him for his service as they returned him to his allies in friendly space. Upon their arrival Lucan was immediately detained for insubordination. At his special court-martial Lucan’s commanding officers testified of his past offenses while Colonel Mihaly and Captain Tiber made a surprise appearance to testify in his defense, saying that if not for Lucan’s actions they would have lost both the battle and the "Echidna". Lucan was ultimately acquitted thanks to Mihaly and Tiber’s testimonies. After the court-martial the three of them had a long talk in private; Lucan’s skills were superb and would make an excellent addition to Corvus squadron. However his record and past behavior for being flippant about orders did concern them. They would recommend him to Lord Xxys for transfer to Corvus squadron and would abide by his decision regardless of outcome. Lucan’s screening was the most intensive out of all of Corvus squadron’s. After an exceptionally thorough screening Lord Xxys personally approached him to let him know about his acceptance into Corvus squadron. He also warned him that any disobedience or misconduct would be met with far harsher punishments, as he held a zero tolerance policy for misconduct on his squadron. Lucan gladly acknowledged, as he saw his joining Corvus squadron as the recognition he had been so desperately pursuing. Upon his formal introduction Lucan was promptly humbled when he realized that everyone here was as or more skilled than he was. He developed a one-sided rivalry with Gaebriel after interpreting an assist for a killsteal and has since been constantly trying to surpass their tie in kill counts. It was after this perceived slight that the squadron gave him the callsign “Lancer” as a friendly jest for always being in a one-sided competition with Gaebriel.

Similarly she has the greatest understanding of mechanical technology out of all the members of Corvus squadron which she uses to great effect. Ingenuitive.

Flaws: Tends to overanalyze and overexamine to the detriment of time. Overly excitable at times when it comes to technology. Difficulty focusing on things she does not consider interesting or a priority.

Biography: Daughter of an engineering family closely tied with the Imperial Navy, Nadiine naturally followed in her family’s footsteps as a naval engineer and shared their deep, unabashed love of technology. What set her apart however was her equal love of flying the starships she worked on and an envy for those who could fly them in an official capacity. At the age of seventeen she had assembled her own starfighter, sans weapons, shielding and hyperdrive, out of spare ship parts found throughout the shipyard she worked at. In her spare time she would fly her junk ship, continuously improving and modifying it as new problems and available parts arose. Out of the sheer amount of experimentation Nadiine taught herself how to fly. Eventually adding a shoddy hyperdrive to her craft Nadiine took her junk ship and jumped to the nearest system to hers as a test drive. Due to her hyperdrive failing and its safeties activating Nadiine dropped out of hyperspace early - right into an on-going battle between Corvus squadron and a Hutt fleet. Rather than panicking as a regular civilian would, Nadiine became unbearably excited and began flying around the battlefield, weaving around the combatants. The "Echidna’s" “Oculus” scanner immediately picked up the interloper and Captain Mihaly radioed Nadiine in the midst of battle to figure out who she was. Upon confirming that she was a noncombatant she was brought aboard the "Echidna" and detained in the ship’s holding cells for the duration of the battle for safety and as a precaution, though she was treated as if she was a guest. It was fortuitous that Lord Xxys had been personally heading the battle. After Corvus squadron’s victory, Lord Xxys, Captain Tiber and Colonel Mihaly approached Nadiine to thoroughly interrogate her, inquiring her intentions and why she was there to begin with. During the questioning Lord Xxys utilized his Telepathy to verify all of her answers. Nadiine spoke truthfully throughout the entire interrogation, if excitedly. She had never seen such advanced tech and Corvus squadron was outfitted to the brim with bleeding-edge technology. She was like a child surrounded by presents on her life day. Deeming her a non-threat the three leaders convened to discuss what to do with her. The operation she had stumbled upon was a top secret, black ops mission. Should they release her back into her civilian life she could become a liability, either by the Hutts figuring out her involvement and torturing information about Corvus squadron out of her or from her carelessly blabbing. The excited way she talked made the three suspect she was not disciplined enough to keep secrets so a memory wipe seemed the most viable option. However, while Lord Xxys had been using his Telepathy to assist in interrogating her, he had seen an enormous, untapped potential in using her as an on-board engineer and perhaps in time a back-up pilot. Up until that point most of the "Echidna’s" on-board repair and engineering personnel were droids for the sake of security. Her expertise would be an invaluable asset to the squadron - provided they could secure her loyalty and confidentiality. They gave her a choice; join the crew of the "Echidna" and forsake her former life - becoming dead to those who had known her - or return to her old life with her memory wiped clean of the past seventy-two hours. Nadiine chose to join the "Echidna". Over the next ten months Nadiine underwent intense combat, naval and flight training under the combined instruction of Corvus squadron and Lord Xxys himself on top of her duties as on-board engineer. Lord Xxys ensured that by the time he was done with her, Nadiine would be a certified soldier meeting the extraordinary standards of Corvus squadron. There would be no civilians in his elite force. In addition to the training there was a constant threat of a memory wipe and an ejection from the "Echidna" should she not live up to the high standards set before her. Nadiine persevered and became the undisputed best engineer Corvus squadron had, likewise gaining combat and flight skills to match the pilots of the squadron. During her training she developed deep bonds with the squadron, particularly with the other women, regarding them as her family. Her moment came when Corvus squadron engaged the Whitescar syndicate in a brutal battle in the Colonies. The then Corvus 5 was badly injured in the skirmish and was able to return to the "Echidna’s" hanger before dying of his wounds. The battle, however, still raged in the background, and Corvus squadron needed every ship available out to be on the front in order to be victorious. To this end Lord Xxys ordered Corvus 5’s Star Raven repaired immediately and Nadiine deployed as acting Corvus 5. Her nervousness overridden by the excitement of flying a "Star Raven", a starfighter she had been working on for so long but forbidden to fly outside of training, Nadiine took to the skies shrieking with adrenaline. Her war whoops would dominate the commlines throughout the battle. Utilizing her training to its fullest, combined with her deep knowledge of starship construction, Nadiine took six kills in that battle in both open combat and as assists, earning her the title of ace. Impressed by her skill, all of Corvus squadron unanimously agreed to make her the next Corvus 5 and bestowed upon her the callsign “Banshee” for her ecstatic warcries. Nadiine has a close friendship with Welisha Torvargin and Janessa Yoi’caangaal with the three of them forming a sisterhood within the squadron.

Strengths: Nearly unshakable in her composure she stands as a calming and unifying center for her squadmates along with Corvus 11 when its leadership is not around. Excellent pre-battle and on-the-fly tactician.

Flaws: Confrontational when shaken or upset. Difficulty calming down when agitated. Difficulty focusing or concentrating when composure is broken.

Biography: A former Imperial Intelligence agent, Welisha was trained in a multitude of military disciplines, including a number of different martial arts and in various military branch methodologies. This resulted in her having an extensive skill set that allowed her to achieve a level of excellence in a number of different fields. Raised from childhood to serve the Order as an agent Welisha grew up without parents, instead being trained from the age of five to be the best possible agent. This upbringing did indeed hone her into one of the finest agents to have ever served the Order, successfully carrying out dozens of sabotage, assasination and espionage missions at the direction of the Dark Council. While she never actually held a leadership role, she did learn to integrate and coop with a multitude of other allied forces in order to achieve a goal, making her an extraordinarily good team-player. Prior to the formal formation of Corvus squadron, Welisha often undertook missions that involved flying a starfighter into potentially hostile space and, more often than not, engage the enemy in dogfights as much as she did firefights on the ground. It was some years after the official formation of Corvus squadron that she caught the attention of Tiber Shilage, captain of Corvus squadron. The squadron had taken losses in a recent battle and Lord Xxys had tasked him with finding worthy candidates to fill the vacancies. To this end Tiber had been given access to the classified dossiers of hundreds of thousands of agents, soldiers and pilots to sift through. Through these hundreds of thousands he had been evaluating, Welisha’s file stood out to him. She had an excellent track record for success and of the many candidates, Welisha was the most skilled, competent, efficient and experienced. However, though out of the many candidates she was one of the best, Tiber was wary as compared to the pilots currently on Corvus squadron her flight hours were drastically lower. But Lord Xxys had tasked him with finding the best candidates - what mattered most was competence. Conferring with Colonel Mihaly the two of them recommended that Welisha and the second candidate, Janessa Yoi’caangaal, be given a test in addition to the formal screening. Lord Xxys consented to their recommendation. Welisha and Janessa were deployed on a mission together and told that a wing of fighters had gone rogue. Their mission was to neutralize them. In truth the “rogue” wing was made up of five members of Corvus squadron disguised as ordinary TIE fighter pilots. Welisha and Janessa had been told to apprehend the rogue wing but nothing beyond that. The two engaged the disguised members of Corvus squadron in a fierce dogfight that had the two on the backfoot the entire time. After nearly two grueling hours of continuous dogfighting, the two’s fighters were downed though they were able to escape death via ejector seats. As they floated in space, the “rogue” wing circled them like a school of sharks until the "Echidna" arrived out of hyperspace to pick all of them up. Brought into the "Echidna’s" hanger Welisha and Janessa were briefed by Covus squadrons deputies on what just happened; they had been tested for candidacy in Lord Xxy’s elite task force. Both of them had passed the test. Though if they wished to actually join they would have to undergo further piloting training under Colonel Mihaly, who found their current skill lacking as members of Corvus squadron but with potential to grow. Both candidates agreed instantly, knowing the honor of being the finger of Lord Xxys. The two of them were formally inducted into Corvus squadron and immediately began training. Welisha developed particularly close ties with Janessa, and then Nadiine soon after, and the three of them formed an unofficial sisterhood within the Corvuns. During training the squadron gave Welisha the callsign “Sunbird” for a set of signature tactics that utilized the light of a nearby sun to blind a bandit.

Equipment: Naval fatigues. Civilian suit. Covus squadron’s black and gold padded flight suit (modified with plates of altered, blaster-resistant plasteel plates, semi-resistant against slugs)

Vehicle: See full description of the “Star Raven” at the end

Languages: Galactic Basic, Ryl, Military Sign,

Description of Abilities: Well versed in naval combat doctrine and infantry combat. Talented in Corellian boxing and shockboxing. Skilled starfighter fighter pilot and sharpshooter. Able to perform rudimentary first aid.

Strengths: Trusting of those close to him and a trusted confidant and ally in turn, Rork is the emotional “heart” of the group. Empathetic, he is able to understand the inner workings of his squadmates better than most, save perhaps the original members in relation to each other.

Flaws: While he normally is able to control his impulses, Rork tends to be overprotective of his squadmates out of fear of losing them. A nigh uncontrollable rage at slavers, pirates and crime syndicates, particularly at the Hutt Cartel and Vahlian pirates.

Biography: Originally an active duty naval pilot with a family, Rork had a wife and two children who he loved dearly despite spending long tours of duty away from them. Tragedy struck when he returned from one such tour to find that his home had been destroyed and his family dead. A briefing with the authorities informed him that a local Roonan had become offended by a stray word spoken by his children. Further investigations at the time had revealed that the Roonan was working for the Hutts and had sent hitmen after his family. Unfortunately the Roonan had escaped custody and was at large. Cursing furiously, Rork took off in his personal starfighter to take care of this matter personally. Using what military resources he had, Rork tracked down the Roonan to the Chal Hudda system. Before he could apprehend him however he was interrupted by the arrival of Corvus squadron, who, unbeknownst to the both of them, had been tracking the same man as well. Capturing him, Corvus squadron detained Rork for questioning. Similarly to Corvus 5’s introduction to Covus squadron, Rork was interrogated by Lord Xxys, Colonel Mihaly and Captain Tiber, with Lord Xxys verifying all of his answers via Telepathy. The three heads of Corvus squadron conversed as to what to do with Rork. From the interrogation they realized that Rork had a far more intimate intel on their mark than they did. He had combat experience as a pilot and could be a valuable asset to the ultimate mission; taking down a Vahlian pirate crew linked to the Hutt cartel. The Roonan was the key to finding them. However they did want to keep the details about themselves secret. Returning to Rork they told him that they were a military detachment sent out find a pirate crew whom the Roonan was connected to. The three invited Rork to join them on their hunt, as his intel could prove invaluable. Rork took them up on their offer instantly. His mind burned with vengeance and he jumped at the chance to take it. Together they captured the Roonan with little difficulty. Rork proved an excellent interrogator, though more than once the squadron had to pull him back to avoid killing the Roonan. They were able to extract the location of the pirates from the Roonan with little difficulty with his assistance. After they had extracted all useful information out of him, they gave Rork the privilege of executing the alien for his crimes, which he took to with glee. After disposing the body unceremoniously out of the hanger’s magnetic shield, they offered Rork the chance to join them on hunting down the pirates whom they had learned during the interrogation were the ones who killed his family. Rork accepted their offer just as eagerly as he had before. His quest for justice was not yet complete. While they searched, the leaders of Corvus squadron were able to learn of Rork’s wing and unit and quietly had him pseudo-transferred under their command to avoid him being dishonorably discharged. Though Rork did not yet know it, the upcoming battle against the pirates was going to be their test for him to join their ranks. The three leaders unanimously agreed that his skill was worthy to join their ranks. Now the battle would be their test so see if he was worthy to join them. After nearly a week of searching they found the pirates and engaged them in a furious battle. Several times throughout the battle Rork intercepted multiple attacks that would have otherwise taken out members of Corvus squadron, saving the lives of Corvus 4, 9 and 11 on five separate occasions. With Rork’s timely interventions Corvus squadron was able to utterly crush the pirates with Rork himself taking five confirmed kills, earning himself the title of ace. The immediate debt of revenge fulfilled Rork asked leave from the squadron leaders to return to his unit so that he may prepare for the long one-man war against the Hutts. Impressed with his performance and grateful for his actions the three leaders gave him their blessing to leave and Rork and Corvus squadron parted as friends. Months later Rork was once again contacted by Colonel Mihaly inviting him to formally join Corvus squadron. During the interim months Lord Xxys had conducted the formal screening and found Rork satisfactory. To incentivise the offer Colonel Mihaly told Rork that they were embarking on a campaign against the Hutt cartel soon - which was all Rork needed to hear. A few days later Rork was formally inducted into Corvus squadron. During the campaign against the Hutts he earned the callsign “Brother Bear” for his effectiveness at covering their withdrawals as rearguard, the many assists he performed with his squadmates and - jokingly - for the amount of body hair he had.

Occupation: Special forces infantryman (former) , military pilot, ace

Height: 6’

Weight: 195lbs

Physical Description: Brown hair. Grey eyes. Stern default facial demeanor.

Weapons: TL-50 heavy repeater. Single standard SE-14C blaster pistol, Hammer slugthrower (modified shot capacity to 18 rounds)

Equipment: Armorweave casual suit with matching slacks. Button-up shirt underneath. Durasteel toe leather boots. Covus squadron’s black and gold padded flight suit (modified with plates of altered, blaster-resistant plasteel plates, semi-resistant against slugs).

Vehicle: See full description of the “Star Raven” at the end

Languages: Galactic Basic, Huttese, Military Sign,

Description of Abilities: Skilled starfighter pilot and close-quarters combatant. Proficient in a wide number of melee and ranged weapons. Able to perform rudimentary first aid.

Strengths: Investigative and inquisitive Daanal is discerning with a keen sense for uncovering hidden meanings or links. A firm reverence for upholding law and order and a similarly strong sense of justice. Extremely strong sense of honor and integrity.

Flaws: Once his mind is set on something, for better or worse he will not back down from his decision, a trait that has both benefited and cost him in the past. Only with the presentation of a sufficient amount of contrary facts will he consider changing his mind. Objective and fact-driven, which are double-edged swords, he cares very little about opinions when it comes to a mission. Though not above unorthodoxy, he has a single-minded mentality towards whatever he pursues at the time that has occasionally blindsided him in the field when things take an unexpected turn.

Biography: Selected from the Order’s 108th special forces battalion, Daanal was already an extremely skilled, multi-role soldier before he was screened for Corvus squadron. Growing up in a lineage of law-enforcement with well-respected parents, he was surrounded by both military and law-enforcement members in his community through his childhood. Because of this community Daanal had access to military and law enforcement teachings from a young age which became an integral part of his youth. This access allowed him to experiment in different military career fields. All this combined with an exceptionally bright and inquisitive mind formed to make him one of, if not the most, intelligent and knowledgeable of his generation, educated in such things as politics, history, galactic cultures, military stratagem and law enforcement. After attending and graduating from the Imperial General Military Academy in the Top Ten he then began to weigh his options of which military branch he wanted to enlist in. Unable to decide on a single one, Daanal enlisted in the special forces where he was formally trained in the doctrines of multiple military branches. Over a span of fourteen military tours crossing both planetary and interstellar theaters Daanal became one of the most decorated servicemen in the 108th, earning medals for victories and acts of daring heroism throughout his service - all of which he received humbly. These achievements earned him the attention of Lord Xxys, who, after several weeks of preliminary investigation followed by the formal screening, approached Daanal and invited him to join the budding Corvus squadron. After some consideration Daanal accepted. During one of his first missions as a member of Corvus squadron - a rescue and recovery operation of a House Vassago supply convoy after a string of mysterious, blitz raids had crippled Tapani sector’s hyperspace lanes - Daanal was able to deduce that the raiders were the Blacklight Pirates from the description of the ships and tactics described by survivors and security footage from the attacked ships. His deduction was confirmed when the raiders fell into a trap that had been conceptualized by Daanal himself, wiping out the pirates in one fell swoop by using one of their favorite tactics against him. A piece of knowledge provided by Daanal. The operation was a resounding success. Thoroughly impressed by his knowledge and the ability to execute plans on them the squadron gave him the callsign “Detective” after his contribution to the operation’s success. The operation also sparked the fast friendship between Daanal and Orron Calgen who was particularly impressed. He is one of the few surviving members of the original Corvus squadron.

Vehicle: See full description of the “Star Raven” at the end

Languages: Galactic Basic, Huttese, Military Sign, Catharese

Description of Abilities: A former infantryman, Orron is well-versed in how ground combat operates and is able to both utilize that knowledge in and out of the cockpit. As a warrior both on the ground and in the cockpit, he is skilled in formation and skirmish fighting. Excellent marksman. A skilled starfighter pilot, he particularly excels in air-to-ground assaults though his dogfighting skills are no less exceptional. Unusually high pain tolerance for a human. Able to perform rudimentary first aid. Talented balisong knife flipper.

Strengths: Driven, single-mindedly focused. Unrelenting and fierce in combat. Likewise talented tactician and extremely well versed in military operations and functions. Extremely loyal and good at forming and maintaining strong bonds with those of military background.

Flaws: A ruthless hatred of all things Cathar that tends to blind him to everything else at hand. A similarly blinding rage whenever a member of Covus squadron is injured or downed that will not abate until the offender has been dealt with.

Biography: Orron was the first of two sons born to an army father and civilian mother. Idolizing his father and his military service the young Orron aspired to join the military and make his family proud. His younger brother likewise idolized their father and the two planned to join the military in different branches in an effort to aid each other in the field and expand the family legacy. In time Orron did indeed join the army while his brother joined the naval forces as a starfighter pilot. During his army service Orron and his regiment was sent to Cathar to quell a civilian uprising. As circumstances would have it his brother’s squadron was providing air support for him. At that time Orron was a lieutenant colonel leading his own battalion. Being the vanguard he and his battalion was the first to assault the hostile forces with his brother’s squadron giving them cover. They had been given incomplete intel and landed right into an ambush. The Cathar ruthlessly wiped out most of his unit, his brother’s fighter squadron and separated Orron from the remaining survivors. Alone he fought through the enemy forces with only his assault rifle and his wits. During his search for other survivors he was wounded on the side of his head and his trigger hand, earning him his distinctive scars there. His search revealed that in the time he had been searching for his comrades they had all been slaughtered along with all of his brother’s squadron; Orron found the body of his brother partially buried in the burning wreckage of his starfighter. Fueled by rage, vengeance and adrenaline, Orron personally exterminated every Cathar involved in the ambush. By the time reinforcements arrived he had single-handedly cleared out the landing zone. Though medics insisted, Orron refused to have any of his wounds treated with bacta; he wanted them to scar so he could remember this day and the utter fury he held towards the Cathar. With the loss of his brother and his battalion Orron silently swore a personal vendetta against every Cathar in the galaxy. To this end he left the army and joined the Order’s naval forces in order to expand his skillset, citing that he “needed to know more than just how to fight on the ground” and to, in a sense, take up his brother’s mantle. He pursued his new occupation with almost obsessive zeal. Combined with his knowledge of infantry movement on the ground Orron became one of the best air-to-ground attack pilots in the naval forces. He mercilessly pursued aerial ground-assault campaigns where he racked up a massive kill count. His effectiveness and ruthlessness earned the attention of Tiber Shilage, who quietly referred him to Lord Xxys and requested screening for the then nascent Corvus squadron. After several months of intense behind-the-scenes scrutiny Orron was personally invited to join Covus squadron by Lord Xxys and Shilage themselves. Orron accepted immediately. He grew close to the members of Corvus squadron, thinking them akin to his family and is one of the most ruthless members to exact revenge whenever they lose a squadmate. During his time with him they learned of his story fighting against the Cathar and gave him the callsign “Jaguar” after his many kills. Orron is particularly close to Daanal Rahlsteer and the two of them frequently tag-team in the field. He is one of the few surviving members of the original Corvus squadron.

Biography: Second cousin to Zendri, Janessa was raised as part of the U’tangaal household on the sprawling, urban estate where she grew up with tales of her cousin’s success across the galaxy via holonet. Envious of her cousin’s freedom compared to the rigidness of her family’s corporate culture, Janessa was still close to her family despite the fact that she was the only member who looked at her cousin in a favorable light. Inspired by her cousin’s accomplishments, or at least the public ones she was able to hear about, she did her best to follow in his footsteps within the boundaries of her families’ approval. Graduating from private tutoring with top grades she went to the Imperial Intelligence bureau on Cademimu V and enlisted. Janessa enlisted with the hope that she may both honorably leave the restrictions of her family behind and meet her cousin whom she so admired. Through her service in Imperial Intelligence Janessa received military training for a wide array of fields, including close-quarters combat, covert ops, espionage and starfighter piloting. She served numerous missions where she successfully infiltrated criminal organizations, weapons manufacturers and bounty hunter guild chapters to spy and report back on their activities. While she frequently was deployed with a team more often than not Janessa was deployed on solo missions. In order to adequately adapt to each new environment she was forced to be able to learn a number of skills quickly and on the fly to maintain her cover. Through this environment Janessa became extremely adept at an enormous number of things, including slicing, mechanical engineering, mountain climbing, diving, singing, dancing and playing over a dozen instruments. Through her successes she was eventually granted her own starfighter - a Rogue-class Porax-38 - and clearance to files on her cousin which she used to track him down. After four months of searching Janessa was able to meet Zendri while Corvus squadron was resupplying on Sulon. Though initially Corvus squadron was wary of her, a debriefing conducted by the heads of the squadron quickly cleared up any misunderstandings. After the debriefing Janessa and Zandri were able to have the heart-to-heart she had so long for aboard the "Echidna" while the rest of the squadron looked on and Lord Xxys accessed her files. It was during their conversation that an alert came through Corvus squadron’s information network; there was an attack on Ord Ibanna by a massive Hutt cartel fleet. Lord Xxys ordered Corvus squadron to respond and scramble the "Ravens". As Corvus squadron rushed to make the jump to hyperspace Janeesa asked to join them in battle. After a brief moment of consideration Lord Xxys consented but said that neither he nor the members of Corvus squadron would be held responsible should anything happen to her. Secretly Lord Xxys wanted to test her; he had been impressed by what he had seen in her file and there was a vacancy in Corvus squadron’s ranks. To him the agent looked like an excellent candidate but he wanted to see for himself. Janessa agreed and she and Corvus squadron raced to the battle. As Covus squadron flew into the fray with their "Star Ravens" Janessa flew in on her inferior Porax. Lord Xxys quietly ordered that no one was to assist her in any way. Despite being at a disadvantage Janeesa was able to achieve four kills before her ship was forced to retreat back into the "Echidna’s" hanger. The battle was a total victory with the Hutt fleet utterly destroyed, though Janessa’s ship was damaged beyond repair. Impressed with her performance Lord Xxys brought her back to Intelligence Headquarters and personally commended Janessa to her commanding officer and commanded that her ruined starfighter be replaced. After parting ways with a grateful Janessa Lord Xxys kept tabs on her activity, using his influence to quietly have her assigned to more and more missions involving starfighter combat so he could better gauge her skill. A discussion with his deputies as well as Zendri decided what the Lord had already been considering: Janessa would undergo a final test that would accompany the formal screening to join Corvus squadron. The knowledge of this test would be kept from Janessa while she performed it as the leaders wanted to see how she would do without any interference. Captain Tiber and Zendri traveled to make a surprise visit to the Intelligence Headquarters as Janessa returned for debriefing from one of her missions. Having already discussed the arrangements with her commanding officer the two Corvuns instructed her to go on a mission for them; neutralize a wing of rogue fighters. Doing as instructed Janessa met up with Welisha Torvargin, her wingwoman for the mission, with both of them believing that this was to be just another mission. Both of them passed. Lord Xxys then gave her the formal screening and found her worthy. After her induction Colonel Mihaly gave both of them personal flight instruction. During introductory conversations with the other members of Corvus squadron the Corvuns gave her the callsign “Virtuoso” after her ability to play a variety of musical instruments. Janessa developed particularly close ties with Welisha, and then Nadiine soon after, and the three of them formed an unofficial sisterhood within the Corvuns.

Strengths: The most spiritual and emotionally-centered of Corvus squadron. Level-headed and collected under even the most intense fire. He is the closest thing Corvus squadron has to a spiritual leader or military chaplain - the center for Corvus squadron’s morale. Introspective and reflective, allowing him to see and understand things better than most. A constant drive to learn and understand every aspect of the galaxy which helps him to be open-minded and better able to learn and master new things.

Flaws: Aloof, detached and repressive of his own emotions when they threaten his own composure. Tends to bottle said emotions which if not attended to over an extended period of time deteriorates his focus, morale and overall mental wellbeing often at the expense of the mission.

Biography: A stoic, reserved figure on the squadron, Zendri is unflappable and even-tempered, even in the most distressing of circumstances. Born blind he received his cybernetics eyes at a very young age and has regularly updated them throughout his life. The second son of the powerful U’tangaal family - head of the U’tangaal conglomerate which controlled or influenced much of Cademimu V’s industry - Zendri was ostracized by the majority of his family due to his handicap. The U’tangaal conglomerate had its social standing to consider and its then current head and president considered any blemish, social or physical, to reflect on him and his company. As a result Zandri’s childhood and adolescence was a lonely and isolated one, bullied by his family with no friends. His solace was his family’s access to a treasure trove of knowledge via its connections to tutors and schools and the wealth of knowledge in its hololibrary. Using these resources he threw himself into the fields of academics, philosophy and all manner of schools of thought. To combat the bullying, which grew more intense and physical with each passing year, Zendri learned Echani martial arts and Teras Kasi from tutors where he grew proficient in both disciplines. A confrontation with one of his cousins put his martial arts skills to the test and he thoroughly defeated his attacker, dissuading any of his family from ever disturbing him again. Free to pursue his interests without his family’s harassment Zendri dove deeper into even more fields which now included military and weapons training and what mysteries of the Force a non-Force sensitive academic could learn of. After graduating from secondary school and coming of age, he left his home planet to become a freelance wanderer. In his wanderings he found employment in everything from humble kitchens on stops along hyperlanes to working as part of a paramilitary bounty hunter’s team that banded and disbanded for various missions. Through his numerous experiences across a wide variety of fields over the years he became a multi-talented figure, skilled in numerous fields of military combat as well as becoming well versed in diplomacy, philosophy and social psychology. It was during one of these paramilitary missions that he met Tiber Shilage before he was appointed to Corvus squadron. The two were the leaders of a joint operation on Begamore to eliminate a budding criminal organization. Tiber was the commanding officer of the Imperial Navy’s forces, who had organized the operation, and Zendri headed the bounty hunters who had arrived to participate. As the heads of their respective organizations the two of them worked closely to ensure the operation’s success. Over the course of the operation’s prep, run and successful conclusion, the two of them formed a strong friendship based on admiration, respect and trust despite their disparate backgrounds. After the operation and payments were made the two of them parted as friends. They would team up five more times on subsequent joint Navy-bounty hunter operations. After Tiber had been inducted into Corvus squadron and tasked with finding the first members to fill out the rest of the squadron, Zendri was one of the first Tiber recommended to Lord Xxys. Lord Xxys approved but would only accept him on the condition that Zendri first receive formal flight training - under him. Tiber extended the invitation and condition to Zendri who quickly accepted. Treating it almost a quasi-apprenticeship, Lord Xxys trained Zendri over the course of eight weeks and molded him into a superb starfighter pilot worthy of joining Corvus squadron with the “final trial” having him take sixteen kills in a dogfight and earning himself the title of triple ace. Upon being formally inducted into Corvus squadron Lord Xxys personally bestowed upon Zendri the callsign “Sage” after his extensive knowledge and his wise demeanor. He is one of the few surviving members of the original Corvus squadron.

Vehicle: See full description of the “Star Raven” at the end

Languages: Galactic Basic, Military Sign,

Description of Abilities: Skilled starfighter pilot. Received combat medic training and is able to perform as such should the occasion call for it.

Strengths: Vigilant. Empathetic. Adventurous and willing to try new things. Idealistic and makes a conscious effort to look on the bright side of situations. Steadfast in his loyalties and unquestionable integrity.

Flaws: His steadfastness in his belief of avoiding civilian casualties occasionally leads him to dip into self-righteousness, which in turn leads him to occasionally clash with his seniors on the squadron when the topic comes up. Though willing to be corrected, his adherence to his own personal ethics and morals have been a hindrance to the group in the past - ranging in difficulty from minor nuisance to obstructing squad performance - should a situation contrary to them arise, both in and out of the cockpit.

Biography: The newest addition to Corvus squadron, Ry is both ambitious and humble about his new appointment. Like all members of Corvus squadron he was personally scouted and screened by Tiber Shilage and Lord Xxys respectively before being given a place on the squadron. Before his transfer Ry was a gunship pilot for his planet’s local naval garrison, defending its borders from pirates and patrolling as planetary security. Born and raised on Joiol, Ry grew up hearing the tales travelers tolds as they stopped at his home planet to refuel during their journey along the Perlemian Trade route. Youngest of a family of four, the Borrian household was a modest one that farmed the land. Ry’s father was also a spacer, now retired, and frequently added to the tales young Ry heard during their family’s bedtime storytelling. Dreaming of one day becoming a spacer like his father, Ry worked hard through his time at school and eventually earned a scholarship at a college in the Core Worlds and from there earned the skills to become a pilot. Tragedy struck back at the Borrian household while Ry was away; both his parents were caught in an accident on the farmstead and the family at the time was unable to afford the medical treatment for both their injuries. Upon hearing the news Ry returned home to help take care of his parents and to assist his older sister with finding a way to pay their new expenses. In time they were able to achieve an equilibrium but at the cost of Ry’s personal ambitions; he would have to join Joiol’s naval garrison who in turn would cover his family’s extensive medical costs. Trapped to a single planet, his one solace was that he could still fly, at least to the edge of the planet due to his assigned gunship lacking a hyperdrive. When a fleet of pirates launched an attack on his home - seeking refuge during a rout - he leapt to its defense. One by one the other members of his naval garrison fell until he was the only one left. He desperately held off the assault until Corvus squadron, who had been pursuing the enemy forces, arrived on the scene. Together Ry worked with Corvus squadron to neutralize the invaders. Colonel Mihaly watched the young Ry with interest during the fight and was impressed on how skillfully he maneuvered his craft both in tandem with Corvus squadron and against the enemy on his own. During the aftermath of battle he and Tiber had a discussion with Ry and made him an offer. Pulling up Ry’s record it was clear he had talent but was yet untested like those others already on the squadron. So the two deputies of Corvus squadron made Ry a deal; survive a shortened tour of duty of at least four months and achieve triple ace status within a maximum of eight sorties and they would speak again. Should he accept the offer he could be transferred immediately to the front lines with his family attended to in the meantime with guaranteed Imperial medical coverage. Should he fail the test he would be transferred back to Joiol’s garrison and his family released from Imperial healthcare coverage. Ry immediately took up the offer and passed the test with flying colors. True to their word, Captain Tiber and Colonel Mihaly granted Ry’s family permanent healthcare coverage while quietly recommending him to Lord Xxys for formal screening. Lord Xxys, after conducting said screening, inducted him into Corvus squadron where shortly thereafter the squad gave him the callsign “Aurum'' as a result of introductory jokes about his hair and behavior. A running joke among the Corvuns is that he is the biggest eater despite being the shortest male after his voracious appetite during his first night aboard the Echidna.

Rank: N/A, non-Force sensitive

Age: 71

Sex: Male

Species: Human

Homeworld: Procopia

Occupation: Captain of the “Echidna”, co-deputy of Corvus squadron, flight baron, mega-ace

Height: 6’2”

Weight: 172lbs

Physical Description: Tall. Thin. Grey hair. Stern yet wise demeanor. Wrinkling skin due to age.

Weapons: Dueling pistol (modified with magazine of maximum 30 rounds)

Equipment: Armorweave flight and command uniform. Covus squadron’s black and gold padded flight suit (modified with plates of altered, blaster-resistant plasteel plates, semi-resistant against slugs)

Vehicle: See full description of the “Echidna” at the end

Languages: Galactic Basic, ur-Kittât, Huttese, Military Sign, Mando’a

Description of Abilities: Veteran and time-test and time proven military commander. Seasoned and equally proven starfighter pilot, though retired. Skilled with a blaster, though not to the extent of the other members of the squadron due to his age. Able to perform rudimentary first aid.

Strengths: Brilliant military commander, shrewd and discerning to the point where it is said that he does not need telepathy in order to read your mind. Utilizing a sense of “tactical empathy” he is able to read people from their behavior. Combined with a social and psychological awareness honed over his many years, he is a comforting and understanding friend and a terrifying psychological opponent. Though able to maneuver through many social nuances with grace he prefers the honest pragmatism of the military which he excels at.

Flaws: Once he’s made up his mind about something Mihaly becomes very stubborn about it, refusing to change his stance or action unless overridden by a superior authority. It takes an extraordinary amount of reasoning and persuading by one he deeply trusts in order for him to truly change his stance on something.

Biography: A proud son of the noble House Mecetti, Mihaly is and was one of the finest naval commanders of his era. His father, a key figure in House Mecetti’s Ministry of Inquiry, deliberately chose to raise him on the neutral planet of Procopia in order for the young Mihaly to not developed the biases that would have clouded his judgement had he been raised with the rest of his House on Obulette. This choice in upbringing allowed Mihaly to see the perspectives of others in nearly any situation, political or otherwise, and to better understand different mindsets. This ability to empathise with others and to understand their thought processes better than they themselves did made him both a respected figure by all who knew him and feared by those who angered him. Following his House’s tradition of excellence Mihaly graduated at the top of his class from the Imperial Naval Academy. From there he joined the naval branch of the Mecetti House Guard where he earned the callsign “Galahad” for his bravery in battle, his brilliance in tactical and combat prowess and his pristine record. Through exceptional starfighter feats he was awarded the title of “Tan'' and flight baron. His continuous accomplishments in time granted him his own command, eventually reaching a station at the feet of the leaders of House Vassago. Some years after having firmly established a reputation of excellence, wisdom, pragmatism, trustworthiness and a man of great acuity among the House Guard, Lord Xxys began conceptualizing Corvus squadron and was quietly scouting out its first members. Mihaly, already one of the most trusted non-Force sensitives in service to House Vassago and one of the few truly aware of their status as Sith, was contacted by Lord Xxys after undergoing the first behind-the-scenes screening. Soon after Mihaly was made the first member of the nascent Corvus Squadron. His experience in the field and his unquestionable, steadfast loyalty to Lord Xxys have made him the true bedrock of Corvus squadron, proving himself an invaluable asset. He has developed a strong friendship with Tiber Shilage based on mutual respect, trust and admiration for the other’s piloting and tactical prowess. Of all the Corvuns, Mihaly has the greatest love of flying, treating it akin to an art and is undisputedly the best pilot on the squadron despite his age and his status as having retired from actual piloting. He is one of the few surviving members of the original Corvus squadron.

MGLT: 160/h

Maximum atmospheric speed: 1,670 km/h

Hyperdrive system: Class 1

Armament: 3x rapid-fire, repeating medium laser cannons, 2x heavy laser cannons, 2x ion cannons, 4x missile launchers (16x overall missile capacity)

Hull: Alusteel-quadranium alloy, experimental nano-tech “healing” armor lacquer

Shielding: 1x shield generator

Engine units: 2x tri-ion engines, 4x ion stream deflectors,

Crew: 1x

Misc: Sensor jammer, baffler and scrambler redundancy, 12x flares, experimental “Oculus” sensor and targeting computer (augmented by link to the Echidna’s “Legion” AI when in range), life-support system, ejector seat,

The primary assault craft of Corvus squadron, the AQ-F49 "Star Raven" was designed with cutting technology and lessons learned by battles waged by the Sienar TIE series. A well-rounded attack starcraft, the "Star Raven" - or simply the "Raven" by members of Corvus squadron - is able to act in a number of roles simultaneously, including space superiority fighter, bomber, and interceptor without having the disadvantages of each type. Fast, agile and deadly, the "Raven" is able to overtake and outmaneuver most other starfighters - even some interceptors - and evade missiles and point-defense systems using its pair of powerful tri-ion engines and array of maneuvering thrusters dotted all along its frame. Coupled with its combination of onboard sensor jammer, baffler and scrambler, achieving a targeting lock on a "Raven" was exceedingly difficult. Even if one were to successfully achieve a missile lock, the "Star Raven's" supply of flares help defend it against enemy missiles. Those same bafflers and scramblers also helped hide the "Raven" from detection by hostile starcraft which gives it an advantage when launching ambushes and surprise attacks. The "Star Raven's" defense of its shield generator, combined with its alusteel-quadranium alloy armored hull, helped negate all but the most critical of hits. Its experimental nano-tech armor lacquer acts as a salve to any damage less than critical, repairing the craft on the fly, and stabilizes critical damage until the "Raven" can return to the "Echidna" for repairs. The trio of rapid-fire repeating laser cannons can unleash a continuous, prolonged stream of laser fire while its pairs of powerful ion and heavy laser cannons are used to disable and devastate stronger vessels respectively. Similarly the "Star Raven's" four missile launchers are modified to accommodate a wide assortment of ordnance weaponry. With a four-round magazine for each launcher, the "Raven" can hold up to sixteen rounds of different types of ordinances to cover a wide spectrum of situations. In-between take-offs the magazines are able to be changed out and reloaded with relative ease. Taking lessons from the design of the Imperial Star Destroyer the "Star Raven's" frame resembled that of a pronged dagger. Taking advantage of its frame design the "Raven’s" weapons faced forward to facilitate concentrated forward firepower. This advantage was further enhanced by the "Star Raven's" experimental “Oculus” sensor and targeting computer which significantly enhanced the accuracy and range of all weapons. With the “Oculus” computer the "Raven" can engage hostiles from beyond normal starfighter range as they close in and detect hostile craft with pinpoint accuracy and from further away, even ships that are utilizing standard stealth technology. Should the "Raven" be disabled in combat its built-in life-support system will activate to keep the pilot alive until rescue. And should the "Raven" need to be abandoned an ejector seat is installed to deliver the pilot from the failing craft.

Hull: Alusteel-quadranium alloy, experimental nano-tech “healing” armor lacquer

Shielding: 4 shield generators

Engine units: 5 ion engines

Crew: 50x-180x

Misc: Complement of 80x UAV fighter drones mounted across its exterior frame (see below), 3x Rho-class transport shuttles, sensor jammers, bafflers and scramblers, 4x Tractor pressor (mounted on ends of wings), 8x Q7 tractor beam projectors, 90x dedicated on-board maintenance and repair droids, 8x escape pods, dedicated hanger and launch bay, on-board med bay, on-board repair bay, long-range communications array with experimental hyper long-range, encryption comms overlay, experimental “Legion” drone mass interface and communications AI network to communicate and operate UAV drones. Experimental “Oculus” sensor and targeting computer. Reinforced docking tube located on the dorsal side of the hull designed to dock with the “Bloodreign”.

Designed as a dedicated carrier ship and the mobile headquarters for both Corvus squadron and her support crew, the "Echidna" is the home base for Lord Xxys’ elite personal squadron. Armed with an impressive array of defensive armaments, both conventional and cutting-edge experimental, she is well fortified against attack from both starfighters and hostile capital ships. Though slower than the typical cruiser at sublight speeds, the "Echidna" makes up for this weakness with forty unmanned droid fighters which act as a defensive screen against hostile craft. Despite her slow nature and her on-board fighter complement the "Echidna" is still heavily armed with a coordinated array of defensive weaponry and has even been called upon to use her turbolasers for orbital bombardment. Her heavily automated point-defense system - with rapid-fire, rapid-tracking laser turrets and experimental, defensive missile launch bays - create a nigh impenetrable, perfectly spherical curtain of protective laser and missile fire, though the weapons may be directed towards a target by the crew. Outfitted with multiple, massive missile magazines, the "Echidna" is able to cumulatively house literally hundreds of various missiles that ranged across the spectrum, covering a wide scope of missile weapon utility while rarely running out of munitions. With its on-board med and repair bays, staffed by medical and repair droids respectively, the "Echidna" almost never needs to dock for the needs of her crew or her complement of fighters. Equipped with a long-range communications array augmented with an experimental, hyper long-range encryption comms overlay technology, the "Echidna" can securely contact her homefleet from anywhere in the galaxy without needing a relay. Bolstered by said encryption and comms array, the "Echidna" makes use of the experimental “Legion” drone mass interfacing and learning communications network - a cutting edge piece of artificial intelligence comms technology that allows the peak management, coordination and communication of information across a large number of machines simultaneously. Built with several redundancy systems, it is near impossible to disrupt, slice or hijack the “Legion” interface system. However due to its experimental status the range on the system is still undergoing refinement. Working in conjunction with the “Legion” system is the “Oculus” sensor and targeting computer. Enhancing targeting and detection systems the “Oculus” augments the accuracy and firing distance of all the "Echidna’s" weapons beyond standard limits. Likewise, the “Oculus” enhances and expands the "Echidna’s" detection range, permitting the pinpoint accurate detection of starcraft hundreds of megalights away even when hidden by natural obstacles or utilizing stealth or jamming technology. A circular docking tube is located on the dorsal side of the hull near the bow. Designed specifically for prolonged docking with Lord Xxys’ flagship “Bloodreign”, its reinforced structure allows the "Echidna" to remain attached to the “Bloodreign” even during hyperspace jumps and is large enough to allow resupply from the flagship. Within the "Echidna" are the many chambers for housing the crew and Corvus squadron alongside storage for the munitions, repair droids supplies and food needed for the months-long deployments the "Echidna" frequently embarks on. The hangar which houses the Star Ravens while embarked aboard the Echidna is located in the center of the vessel and stretches from end to end with entrances to it at the fore and aft of the ship. During battle and in emergencies the hangar doors are closed and sealed, made of plates of alusteel-quadranium alloy like the rest of the ship’s hull. When not in battle the hanger doors are kept open to allow for faster deployment. During down time members of Corvus squadron will frequently gather in the hangar to relax and converse, gazing out the wide doors at the star-dotted darkness of space enjoying their shared love of the interstellar. Inside the "Echidna" - though rarely if ever needed to be engaged - a series of security doors and turrets lie ready to defend against hostiles who make it aboard, hidden inside the walls and controlled by the "Echidna’s" AI system. All across the exterior of the "Echidna" is an experimental self-repair nano-tech lacquer that rapidly performs combat repairs for any damage the "Echidna" sustains during combat. The lacquer is able to completely repair anything short of critical damage, at which point it stabilizes the condition until one of the "Echidna’s" dedicated repair droids can attend to it. Similarly all across the exterior of the hull are the docking ports for which the Echnii interceptor drones are mounted for instant deployment. Should they be damaged in combat they can be ordered back to their docking port where they can be repaired or into the hangar should the damage sustained be critical. While every member of Corvus squadron hopes they never have to be used, eight escape pods scattered through the ship ensure that the squadron and crew can escape should the "Echidna" ever have to be abandoned. Tractor beams arrayed around both entrances to the hangar ensure that any down craft unable to make it back to the ship return to the Echidna for repairs while four tractor pressors could be employed to physically repel any hostile craft that gets too close. And like the "Star Raven", the "Echidna" is equipped with a series of sensor jammers, bafflers and scramblers to keep her from being detected or locked on by hostile craft. For transporting supplies or personnel outside of combat roles the "Echidna" has three Rho-class transport shuttles specifically designated to fulfill the role. In this way the "Echidna" can resupply and her personnel can leave the ship without landing or using combat craft for transportation respectively.

Beyond that control and internal system integrity will begin to progressively fail with systems failing completely at 200 kilometers. Integrated with the experimental “Legion” drone learning interface and communications network installed on both it and the Echidna,

Nicknamed the “Sparrows” by Corvus Squadron and the crew of the "Echidna", the EDF-49 unmanned aerial vehicle is a droid starfighter designed with one purpose; to defend its mothership the "Echidna". Using highly coordinated, aggressive swarming tactics, they act as a screen for hostile fighter craft. At moderately close range they may also be directed to act as its own fighter squadron to attack nearby enemy capital ships, engaging hostile fighters while the "Echidna" levies its heavy guns upon the capital ships. Sacrificing shielding for speed and maneuverability, the "Sparrow’s" powerful engines are able to execute extremely high G maneuvers that would otherwise kill an organic pilot. Its pair of repeating medium laser cannons are able to maintain a prolonged, continuous stream of rapid laser fire, capable of delivering twelve rounds of laser fire per second in optimum conditions. The EDF-49’s pair of missile launchers can store up to an accumulative eight missiles in its twin magazines with its launchers compatible with virtually every conventional missile. The magazines are easily able to be switched out and outfitted accordingly before each mission. Nimble, fast and startlingly agile, the EDF-49’s speed outmatches even the famed tri-fighter of the Confederacy of Independent systems. Able to intercept and shoot down missiles targeting either it, the "Echidna" or other EDF-49s, its trio of twin ion engines - one of each thruster it had - provided a potent source for acceleration and its weapons’ firepower. Its similarly powerful communications transceiver allowed for it to be in perfect sync with both the "Echidna" and all forty of its fellow "Sparrows" simultaneously. Intimately connected together in the experimental “Legion” network, the drones are so finely tuned that attacking craft who managed to survive the swarm of "Sparrows" swore that the drones attacked “as if in a coordinated hive-mind”. Built with several redundancy systems, it is near impossible to disrupt, slice or hijack the “Legion” interface system, meaning the EDF-49 is virtually untouchable from a hacking standpoint. However due to its experimental status the range on the system is still undergoing refinement. Due to the “Legion” system being the sole communications unit on its small frame, combined with the experimental status of the technology, the EDF-49 is only able to effectively function at a set range beyond which control, followed by the drone’s internal system integrity, will begin to deteriorate before failing entirely if gone too far from its mothership.
