CLASSES

All base classes are available at Level 1; Prestige classes become available at Level 3.
Jedi Guardian
Jedi Guardians are the martial foundation of the Jedi Order; disciplined and athletic, they place their focus on the physical aspects of Jedi life, training in the art of lightsaber combat and martial arts, and honing their Force abilities for use in battle or protection. Guardians are staunch defenders of the Light and will fight with every fiber for the triumph of justice. Many, but not all, Guardians were traditionally outfitted with blue lightsabers.

Famous Guardians include Knight Anakin Skywalker, Grandmaster Luke Skywalker, Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Master Mace Windu.

Jedi Consular
Jedi Consulars are healers, historians, diplomats, and seers. Consulars place their focus on the more cerebral aspects of the Force, preferring to leave their lightsabers unignited and placing faith and trust in the power of the Light to guide and sharpen their abilities through meditation and study. Compassionate and studious, Consulars excel in using nonviolent means to uphold the tenets of Jedi philosophy. Most Consulars were traditionally outfitted with emerald lightsabers, but this was not always the case.

Famous Consulars include Grandmaster Yoda, Grandmaster Nomi Sunrider, Grandmaster Odan-Urr, and Kreia.

Jedi Sentinel
Jedi Sentinels strike a balance between Guardians and Consulars; they are practical in their approach to the Force and its myriad applications, blending combat and non-combat abilities. Sentinels often lean towards a civilian-style life, putting their skills to use in protecting citizens. They are adept in a wide variety of non-Force skills, using their Jedi schooling to augment their chosen field of expertise. Sentinels generally carried whatever lightsaber color that was bestowed on them, though a substantial portion in the Old Republic carried yellow lightsabers.

Famous Sentinels include Bastila Shan, Kyle Katarn, Tera Sinube, and Morrit Ch’gally.

Subclasses
Require Level 3

Guardian Subclasses

Jedi Warrior

Jedi Warriors are almost antithetical to the order itself, used as soldiers and brutal combatants on the bloody field of honor. They are extremely physically fit and skilled in martial arts and other techniques of warfare. Due to their extreme combative focus, warriors gain access to two Approaching the Dark skills (not whole trees).

An example of a Jedi Warrior is Master Mace Windu.

Jedi Peacekeepers
Peacekeepers are the protectors of justice and harmony in the galaxy. Peacekeepers are law enforcers, sentries, ambassadors, and negotiators with well-balanced skills in both combat and non-combat areas. Jedi Peacekeepers get two free points in Force Stun, regardless of rank, and two free points in Alter Damage.

An example of a Jedi Peacekeeper is Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Jedi Starfighter
Members of the Jedi Starfighter Corps use the Force in perfect harmony with their piloting. Their unrivaled reaction time and precision in starfighter combat make them the finest force multipliers in aerial combat, and when melded with other starfighters, they can apply significant force to an entire fleet. Jedi Starfighters gain two free points in Force Meld and Force Direction, regardless of rank, and also are given a starfighter to use and customise.

An example of a Jedi Starfighter is Master Saesee Tiin.

Exotic Weapon Specialist
Exotic Weapons Specialists are Jedi Guardians who have chosen to either forgo lightsabers or use it alongside other weaponry, such as a quarterstaff, electrostaff, flail, force pike, and so on. In the past, this term also applied to those who mastered unusual lightsaber variants, but this is no longer the case. Exotic Weapon Specialists gain access to Force Weapon, enhancing their weapons through the Force to resist lightsabers, deflect blaster bolts, and shatter stone; given that some specialize in use of blasters and slugthrowers, access to Force Direction is also gained.

An example of an Exotic Weapons Specialist is Master Siolo Ur Manka.

Consular Subclasses

Jedi Healer

Jedi Healers are valuable members of the Jedi order and invaluable during war, keeping the wounded alive and rejuvenating them. Jedi Healers can heal and energize allies fast enough to put allies back into combat soon after they are disabled, ensuring a heavy reduction in loss of life. Jedi Healers get one free point in both Force Heal and Revitalization.

An example of a Jedi Healer is Barriss Offee.

Jedi Seer
Jedi Seers cross space and time with aetherial vision, viewing places worlds away, in the past, and far in the future. All Jedi Seers are capable of using Psychometry, and thus gain access to it, and have one free point each in Precognition and Farsight.

An example of a Jedi Seer is Grandmaster Yoda.

Jedi Sage
Jedi Sages are the polymaths of the order, typically serving as wise teachers and erudite lore keepers, and many even become Jedi Diplomats, working with governing bodies, monarchs, senators, committees, and so on to establish peace through the pen. Such cerebrally focused Jedi have exceptional talents with mind-affecting abilities, having honed such through constant use, and thus have access to a wider array of mind-affecting Force powers, including one dark mental power of their choice.

An example of a Jedi Sage is Grandmaster Odan-Urr.

Jedi Druid
Jedi Druids are rare among the Order, but those who do decide to immerse themselves in nature embody, in many ways, the principles of peace, serenity, and union with the Force present in the Jedi Order. Druids tend to present themselves humbly, and their work is usually associated with tending to younglings who are misled before arrival. Through their understanding and interactions with nature, they bring a sense of calm to those in spiritual turmoil. Druids are particularly adept, more so than others, at controlling the elements, and receive maximum proficiency for their level in either cryokinesis, pyrokinesis, or plant surge. Druids are also known for their healthy relationships with animals, and often create a Life Bond with one who acts as their friend and guide in nature. In addition to their elemental proficiency, a Jedi Druid receives two points in Force Bond for free, so long as that bond is used to create a life bond with an animal.

Upon attaining Master rank, a Druid’s communion with their Familiar and chosen element is so powerful that the Familiar can channel the elemental abilities that the Druid wills (albeit at half strength). Additionally, the Druid gains three points for free in one of the two elemental skills not previously chosen.

An example of a Jedi Druid is Master Fay.

Sentinel Subclasses

Jedi Slicer

Jedi Slicers have an odd affinity for machines, whether it be computers, droids, security systems, or something else entirely, they dedicate themselves to the mastery of technology in an increasingly technological age. Jedi Slicers gain two free points in Electronic Manipulation and their choice of either Technopathy or Technometry.

An example of a Jedi Slicer is the Jedi known as Rey.

Jedi Investigator
The Jedi Investigator spends more time “on call” than most, and historical spent more time on Coruscant but out of the temple than any other Jedi. The Investigator acted on behalf of the local and regional police forces, assisting in the capture of dangerous criminals and the finer riddance of crime than the more martial Jedi Guardian. As such, a Jedi Investigator was required to be quiet and observant in all aspects of their jobs. Jedi Investigators receive two free points in Force in both Force Stealth and Force Track in order to both hide themselves and find those who are hidden.

While not himself a Jedi Investigator, one might consider Master Tera Sinube to display best the attitude an Investigator should.

Jedi Shadows
Jedi Shadows are the dedicated enemies of the Dark Side, hunting down darksiders and their artifacts. Skilled in deception and subterfuge, Jedi Shadows often, but not always, view the universe in shades of gray, allowing them to make the most unpleasant moral compromises necessary, as well as allowing them to take one skill from Approaching the Dark at its highest available points for free (i.e. 3 points at Level 5, 4 points at Level 7, etc.). They also gain the power of False Dark Side Aura at the highest available level for their rank, allowing their subterfuge to go unnoticed and unsuspected.

While a Jedi Guardian, Master Quinlan Vos could be considered the model of a Jedi Shadow.

Jedi Rogue
Jedi Rogues are a type of Sentinel, most often, whose occupation as a Jedi generally goes unnoticed. Of all of the Jedi, they blend in with their surroundings most easily. Rogues are experts in falsifying their identities, both physically and legally, and in addition to being more easily able to forge documents and come up with stories about themselves on the fly, and to assist with this, they receive Alter Image/Masquerade at the highest available level for their rank for free. Jedi Rogues also generally train in the use of a weapon outside of the lightsaber to maintain secrecy, and so gain proficiency in the use of one such weapon (a blaster, electrostaff, vibrosword, bowcaster, etc.) when they take this subclass. Lastly, Rogues are often well-acquainted with the criminal Underworld, and many will obtain a dossier on numerous criminal individuals on their adventures.

An example of a Jedi Rogue is Kanan Jarrus.

Prestige Classes

Jedi Aces

Requires Level 5+, Jedi Starfighter
Jedi Aces are the highest ranking pilots of the Jedi naval effort and are often the leaders and teachers of the Jedi Starfighter Corp. Jedi Aces weave through hornet nests of turbolaser fire and missile barrages to deliver their explosive payload with bombs guided perfectly through the Force. Jedi Aces have become so attuned to usage of Force Meld and Force Direction that it is as innate to them as breathing, gaining both at their highest level for their rank, for free, and gaining access to the Talortai ability of Pathfinding.

An example of a Jedi Ace is Grandmaster Luke Skywalker.

Jedi Battlemasters
Requires level 7+, Jedi Warrior or Peacekeeper, six classical lightsaber forms
Utter nightmares to face in single combat, Jedi Battlemasters are the greatest lightsaber duelists in the Jedi Order, and teach other Jedi in the martial art of which they have no equal. So perfectly attuned to the Force and how it harmonises with saber techniques, Jedi Battlemasters enjoy maximum proficiency in one classical lightsaber form of their choice, and one free point in every other classical form.

An example of a Jedi Battlemaster is Master Kao Cen Darach.

Jedi Weapon Master
Requires Level 5+, Exotic Weapons Specialist
When an Exotic Weapon Specialist of the Jedi Order gains master rank and attains true mastery of their chosen weapon and impressive skill with several others, they gain the honorific title of Jedi Weapon Master. Depending on whether they specialized in a melee or ranged weapon, Weapon Masters enjoy four free points, regardless of rank, in either Force Weapon (melee) or Force Direction (ranged).

An example of a Jedi Weapon Master is Master Vodo-Siosk Baas.

Jedi Tech Expert
Requires Level 5+, Jedi Slicer
Tech Experts went beyond the simple manipulations that Slicers focused on, instead preferring complete mastery of technology. Among these abilities are the skills of Hassat-Durr and Mechu-Deru, which they gain free three points in.

An example of a Jedi Tech Expert is Master Kazdan Paratus.

Sith Hunter
Requires Level 6+, fitting personality and/or story [seek Council approval]
Based upon the Jedi Shadows, the Sixth Line, and the Jedi Covenant, these Jedi are the most unorthodox when it comes to the manner of hunting Sith. Often bearing purple lightsabers and occasionally bearing red lightsabers as their enemies do, they are well-equipped to slip into the enemy’s ranks to assassinate their top dogs or tap into the other side of the Force to grant an edge in a bloody, desperate battle. A Sith Hunter is able, more so than any other class, to dip into the powers of Darkness without succumbing to the temptation to turn completely, for their adherence to the ideology of the Jedi Order is too strong to allow such surrender. Sith Hunters may access two skill trees from the Approaching the Dark category, in addition to any offered by their base class or subclass.

Two examples of a Sith Hunter are Cade Skywalker and Lucien Draay.

Jedi Coordinator
Requires Level 6+, Jedi Sage
Jedi Coordinators are Jedi Sages who chose to maintain a focus on the most cerebral Force skills, and are the most powerful support unit on the battlefield, orchestrating strategies and providing mental artillery. Jedi Coordinators gain three free points in Battle Meditation and Force Meld.

An example of a Jedi Coordinator is Master Oppo Rancisis.

Jedi Prophet
Requires level 7+, Jedi Seer
Responsible for the Prophecy of the Chosen One, Jedi Prophets are Jedi Seers with extraordinary foreknowledge, and instantly gain the maximum proficiency in Precognition possible and gain at the highest level for their rank one other power from the Force Sense tree of their choice.

An example of a Jedi Prophet is Kreia.

Jedi Specialist
Requires level 5+, Jedi Sentinel [except Jedi Shadow]
These Jedi Sentinels specialize in whatever area they see fit, and often do so in more than one area, arranging for themselves a wide array of skills for any situation. Jedi Sentinels who choose the path of the specialist may acquire access to three skills from whatever subclasses they choose (only one skill may be learned each subclass).

An example of a Jedi Specialist is Kyle Katarn.

Jedi Temple Guard
Requires Level 5+, Jedi Sentinel or Jedi Peacekeeper
Upon attaining sufficient skill as a Jedi Knight, a Sentinel or Peacekeeper may choose to become security for the Jedi temple. Unlike previous iterations, this position is permanent. Sentinels become the gold-white masked legion of guardians ever patrolling the halls and yards of the various Jedi temples and are given special lightsaber-resistant armor and phrik saberstaffs.

Physically imposing Jedi Peacekeepers become Jedi Brutes and guard the entrances, warding off aggression through intimidation, and are given Force-imbued phrik armor and lightsaber-resistant saberstaffs.

Less physically imposing Jedi Peacekeepers become Jedi Snipers, patrolling the heights of temples and striking farther and more accurately than any other, and are endowed with their choice of Force Focus or Saber Throw at maximum proficiency for their rank, depending on whether they are exceptional with their sabers, or elect to use actual rifles.

An example of a Temple Guard is, despite his fall, the one who became known as the Grand Inquisitor. Because of their largely anonymous nature, others who bore the title of Temple Guard seldom have names or faces attached to them.

THE POWERS OF A JEDI

The powers of a Jedi are divided into three basic categories, just as the classes are; these categories are Control, Sense, and Alter.

There are certain abilities which do not fall under any of these categories; these are Lightsaber Forms and the Force powers which augment their practice, Paragon abilities, and powers whose practitioners are Approaching the Dark. You must have Council approval to be Approaching the Dark.

For powers marked as INNATE, the character must have some hereditary, genetic, or cultural predisposition towards using these powers. For example, if your ancestors were well known for being powerful practitioners of Psychometry, you too would have access to this INNATE power by hereditary means. Please seek Council approval before selecting innate powers.

Powers marked as UNIQUE are extraordinarily rare powers for Jedi to possess, and require Council approval.

Lightsaber Forms and Augmenting Techniques

Classical Forms

—Form I - Shii-Cho
Simple and relentless. Bold and kinetic. Somewhat slow at lower levels, but more skilled users become a waterfall of fluid slashes. Masters of this martial art release themselves into the Force, channeling it deeply and possibly endangering their spirit, but becoming an unpredictable hurricane of lightsaber strikes.

At least basic skill in this martial art is necessary to learn to use a lightsaber efficiently without injury.

—Form II - Makashi (Requires Form I - Shii-Cho)
Quick and precise. Elegant and efficient, emphasizing leverage through footwork and positioning. Lacking in strength.

Martial artists of lower levels have an excellent and very active defense against lightsabers, but lack the precision to mount an effective offense. More skilled users are dreadful to face in lightsaber duels, utilizing expert precision and speed to slip beneath an opponent's defense and swat aside an opponent's offense.

This form relies the least on one's connection to the Force, and relies more on the user's intellect and skill than physical ability, though taller user's will have advantage in reach.

This form is weak to blasterfire, Form V Djem So, but not Shien, and Form VII Juyo, but not Vaapad. This form is strong against Form I, Form IV, Form VI, and the lower levels of Form III.

— Form III - Soresu (Requires Form I - Shii-Cho)
Subtle and tight. Conservative and economic, prioritizing defense over offense in the ultimate philosophical showcase of Jedi non-aggression.

Novice users are quite exceptional when defending from blaster bolts and other projectiles, but in heavy fire scenarios and against skilled opponents, they only delay the inevitable. A master of this form can be considered nearly invincible, able to walk through hornet nests of blaster fire unscathed and defeat powerful duelists through patience and masterful timing.

This form has no dedicated attack sequence, and the user must rely on the deflecting parries and ripostes, or another form, to defeat an enemy.

The lower levels of this form are weak to Form II and Form VII, but beyond that, it has no weakness to another form. This form is strong against blasterfire.

— Form IV - Ataru (Requires Form I - Shii-Cho)
Acrobatic and flowing. Elaborate and aggressive, reliant on the physical agility of the user in conjunction with their strength in the Force. Lacks dedicated defense, relying on agility to dodge attacks.

Beginners may disorient their opponents with spins and flips, but may have trouble closing off all openings in their motion for the enemy to attack. The most proficient users become an offensive omnidirectional dervish of blades, striking more swiftly than any other, evading too quickly for an opponent to catch and overwhelming them.

The user becomes a conduit for the Force, but one can only be a conduit for so long before burning out. Thus, this form is best used on single opponents and to end a fight quickly, or to be supplemented with another style.

This form is weak to Form II and Form III. This form is strong to Form V.

— Form V - Shien/Djem So (Requires Form I - Shii-Cho)
A dual discipline of two separate forms too similar to teach separately: Shien and Djem So.Most Form V users express a preference for one of these forms like one expresses a preference for a left or right hand when writing. Both forms were created by Soresu masters who felt Form III was insufficient in keeping the peace.

Shien: The Lesser Krayt
Technical and aggressive. Energetic and mildly acrobatic. Utilizes a full 360 degrees of motion. Contains some Ataru inspiration.

The Shien lightsaber form was the original variant of Form V, utilizing a counterstrike-focused fighting style that was technical, quick, and energetic, but still very aggressive. Nowadays, it’s taught more for its deflection capabilities than dueling practicality, as it possesses no other clear advantages over other forms.

Unlike the later Djem So, this form has no mobility weakness, and thus is not weak to Form IV.
This form is strong to blasterfire.

Djem So: The Greater Krayt
Stout and imposing. Strong and domineering, relying on physical strength and powerful counterstrikes following an even stronger defense to defeat an enemy. Advances upon a straight line.

The style is characterized by deflecting oncoming attacks before responding in kind with a harsher counter strike. Beginners may find their counterattacks to be slow, but will find their defense and general attacks more than adequate for most situations. An advanced user will be fast and fluid in their death dance, deflecting and striking back with incredible strength and fluidity to dominate their opponent. Masterful users become something incredible to view, taking on a Makashi-esque level of precision and finesse while maintaining a monstrous level of dominating, offensive power, betraying its Makashi influence.

One of the most physically demanding of the styles, dependent on the physical strength of the user, but by no means a slow style.
Due to its lack of mobility, this form is weak to Form IV. Due to its emphasis on quick, powerful strikes, this form is strong to Form II.

— Form VI - Niman (Requires Form I - Shii-Cho)
Balanced and moderate. Intermixed and relaxed, most often combined with the practiced use of telekinesis to supplement the bladework.

Niman is truly the most balanced of the styles, not being sincerely advantageous anywhere, but lacking drawbacks that other styles hold. It could be incredibly dangerous in the hands of a patient, cunning, and calculating practitioner, a trait which gained it the moniker of “the Trickster’s Form” among Jedi Battlemasters. A trainee could keep up with students of other forms fairly well, but would risk being overcome by the clear advantages of another style. A master would take advantage of the lack of Niman’s own drawbacks, pressing their opponent to prevent the advantages the other possesses without letting themselves be taken advantage of, and will often harmonize with the opponent, responding to attacks with the equal and opposite.

One of the least physically demanding styles, but also the one which allows for the most individual creativity from its user, making it a very cerebral style best used when combined with other techniques, whether implementation of telekinetics or other practices like Jar'kai, which can become its own style in combination with this form.

This form is weak to Form II.

Character Sheet Template:

Name: Dalaron Rethwode
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Species: Human
Homeworld: Coruscant
Occupation: Jedi Padawan
Height: 1,601cm
Appearance: Benteron has fair skin and long black hair. When his Force sight is not active he has eyes of lavender colour. In the Jedi Temple, Benteron wears a beige-coloured tabard, a dull blue shirt beneath that, and mesh armour beneath that. He wears dark brown trousers, dark blue leather boots, and wrapped bandages around his right arm, chest, and right leg. He ties his hair back in a loose ponytail tied a few inches above the end.
Weapons: Green lightsaber, constructed on Ilum (user of Form IV, Ataru);
Equipment: Blastech DL-22 Blaster; smoke grenades; med packs; bacta spray; food rations; synth rope; verpine personal energy shield.
Languages: Common
Description of Abilities: From a tender age, Dalaron's aptitude as a natural genius was evident, even by the Rethwode clan's high standards. As a member of the branch house, Dalaron would normally be denied to join the ranks of the Jedi Order by his family, and thus was technically forbidden to learn any of the Force abilities his midichlorians allowed him to. However, even without formal instruction, he learned how to perform many of these techniques from observation alone. His father, so deeply impressed by Dalaron's raw talent and rapid growth despite being self-taught, came to believe that Dalaron should represent his family in the Jedi Order and would eventually surpass all other Rethwodes to ever have joined them. Besides his advance Force traits, Dalaron graduated from the Academy at the top of his class.
As a Force-user, Dalaron possessed the ability to use Force Sight. While a common Force power in his Order, Dalaron's was noted to be especially powerful. With this sight, he had a penetrative field of vision. A small blind-spot exists — a weakness he was well aware of and trained extensively to overcome, to no avail. Instead, he took extra precautions to compensate for it by focusing his sensitive powers around the area, giving him a way to sense any approaching attacks and slowing them enough to give him time to respond.
As with most members of his noble family, Dalaron specialised in martial arts. He excelled at systematically taking down his opponents with precise strikes to key points in the body. Even more, he demonstrated blazing speed and combined with superb reflexes that often accompany Force-users, coordination, and agility, he could seamlessly dodge attacks while simultaneously able to counterattack his opponent. These traits made him especially formidable at close range, forcing enemies to keep their distance, where Dalaron's skill made him difficult to hit.

Strengths: Dalaron was trained from an early age in his the Stava fighting style, which takes advantage of the Force's piercing strength and stability to strike at the opponent's vital points directly. While Stava strikes are by default difficult to defend against, Dalaron's ingenuity and methods made his usage of the style especially effective.
Weaknesses: Dalaron often failed initially to perform mind tricks or any other Force abilities that had to do with altering the minds of others. He specialized mainly in lightsaber combat, quickness of movement and hand-to-hand, leaving the more peaceful Force abilities to second priority, and thus never improving them much.
Personality: As a child, Benteron was kind and prone to smiling. He lost these qualities after his father's death, growing serious and cold, more mature than most his age. For years he was driven by a fatalistic belief that his and everyone else's fates were determined from birth by the Force and were inescapable. He perceived his own destiny as being that of a rare talent, causing him to arrogantly place himself above those he believes are "weaker" than himself. He also perceived that his talents would always be handicapped by mandatory servitude to the light side of the Force, which he resented and it fuelled his animosity towards the Jedi dogma; at the same time, he despised the dark side of the Force for its principles, and never considered attempting to tap into it.
Benteron shared his philosophy about fate with those he met, gladly telling them when they are straying from the paths that have been set out for them by, for example, trying to exceed their natural limitations or trying to defeat him in combat when they lack any obvious ability to do so. The destiny Benteron ended up selecting for himself was to become strong enough to never lose those he cared about and the principles of the Jedi Order. In pursuit of this goal he trained with his fellow Jedi apprentices, whose own dreams he became supportive of, and later with a Jedi Knight. Over time his desire to get stronger became as much a motivation to never lose as it is to protect his friends and family.
Biography: Because his mother died when he was very young, Benteron was raised during his early years by his father, Emmard Rethwode. Emmard was famed throughout the galaxy, having saved Coruscant on at least one occasion; Benteron in particular revered his father. During one of Emmard's missions - after Benteron was enrolled in the Jedi Academy - Emmard made the decision to save the lives of his fellow Jedi rather than complete the assignment. The mission's failure had disastrous consequences for the Galactic Republic, causing many in the Jedi Order, including the other Jedi he saved, to vilify him for abandoning his duties. Disgraced, Emmard committed suicide. Seeing what his father went through and determined not to make the same mistakes, Benteron decided that following the Jedi Code must always take priority. In the Academy, Benteron earned top grades, earning him recognition as a prodigy and the best of his generation. Ultimately, he became very popular amongst his peers. With his talents soon being recognised, at age 11, Benteron graduated from the Academy at the top of his class.

Welcome, @Dalacard Rethwode! I have been awaiting your arrival. Your character sheet looks spectacular, however I must point out that one of your chosen abilities is not available to Level 1 Padawans. Force Healing is a Prestige Class ability and becomes available once a Consular class Jedi reaches Level 4. Additionally, by selecting Thought Shield, that places you on the path of becoming a Consular-- is this your chosen class? (You may choose a class at Level 1 😊)

Physical Description: Elliana has long, dark chestnut hair, brown eyes and a slender/fit build. Her features are a mix of Human and Sephi with a light complexion, almond-shaped eyes and a slightly upturned nose. Her ears have a slight point to them.

Clothing: Robes, pants, shirts, dresses, whatever the occasion calls for.

Biography: Elliana was born to a Human father and Sephi mother on Thustra. Her parents recognized her force powers at a very early age and were proud to see her chosen by the Jedi to be trained. Elliana’s curiosity and intellect often led her to the archives where she would read about the Jedi of old and look through holoimages of old artifacts. She would often dream about exploring old temple and finding lost holocrons. Elliana began studying cultures and languages throughout the galaxy in hope of visiting as many as she could one day. Along with her inquisitiveness though came a tendency to attempt to question certain aspects of the histories, such as whether one Jedi Master or another throughout history ultimately followed the Jedi way or whether or not ridding the galaxy of a dangerous individual were better than allowing them to exist and harm others. Elliana took a more natural approach, allowing herself to focus on analyzing situations to arrive at the best outcome rather than relying on a single set of black and white principles. She looked up to individuals such as Tasha Ryo, Qui Gon Jinn and Ahsoka Tano.

Thank you, Master.
I have changed the abilities accordingly. My chosen class, however, will be that of Sentinel - a much honored class, albeit not as much recognized.
Greetings.

Name: Umaya Kyrie

Age: 21

Sex: Female

Species: Miraluka

Homeworld:Unknown/ Lah’mu

Occupation: Moisture Farmer

Height: 5’5

Appearance: Pale skin, long golden blonde hair often worn loose and flowing. Blindfolds to cover her natural lack of eyes. Simple and practical clothing depending on the environment.

Weapons: Double Bladed Lightsaber which can be separated. Amber colored blade. Haysain Smelt forged hilt.

Equipment: Datapad. Flowers. Herbs. Seeds. Her adopted mother's violet kyber crystal, worn around her neck.

Languages: Basic. Miralukese.

Description of Abilities: An intuitive and prophetic seer, with a deep connection to nature.

Strengths: Philosophy. Mysticism. Ease in natural environments. Basic understanding of technology and machine repair. Able to adapt to lightsaber combat fairly well for one who has rarely needed to fight.

Weaknesses: Naive, untrained in proper use of the Force and by default believes all races are inherently good, and desire to follow the Light.

Personality: Curious, humble and inquisitive and quite persistent, but utterly submissive, and likely to back down in a fight or confrontation.

Bio: Umaya knew only one truth from her childhood. She had a twin sister, who she was parted from shortly after birth. She knows that twin is Darth Illium, of the Sith Empire. She can sense it in the Force, and knows it's inevitable they shall one day meet.

Like her twin, Umaya holds no memories of her parents, and knows only they were brother and sister that inbred for blood purity out of desperation to keep their species alive. Shortly after the birth of the twins, her parents experienced a horrific vision that caused them to flee their colony, and board a poorly defended ship to take their chances among the stars.

Shortly afterward their ship was hijacked by pirates; the parents slaughtered and the children sold into slavery. Lilium, her twin, was sold to the witches of Dathomir, and Umaya to the moisture farmers in the desolate planet of Lah’mu. The slavers did not know that the farmer couple were also former Jedi, and Miraluka; the last two of a failed Miraluka colony upon the distant planet. They adopted her as their own, but hoped to keep her from the clutches of the Jedi and the Sith, in firm belief that an adherence to any sect would only bring her misery. They exiled themselves from the Jedi Order, and refused to train Umaya in the Force, save for how to keep her sight tightly focused.

At the age of 19 a plague ravaged the small populous, leaving only Umaya alive within a 300 mile radius. Crushed by the weight of isolation, she reluctantly sold the farm and booked passage off the only home she knew and began to step out into the galaxy. Only then did she begin to understand the Force; the Jedi and the Sith, the conflicts of the galaxy as a whole.

She eventually arrived in the presence of the Jedi; following her visions of a possible future. She hopes not only to better understand the Force...but to bring her lost sister to the Light.

isosi smaller.png

Character Summary:
Jedi Master Chalcedony Isosi Kast is an Iridonian Zabrak Galactic Alliance Army soldier-turned-Jedi. Patient, disciplined, kind, and humorous, Isosi approaches life and the Force with levity and grace—a clever façade to hide a deep melancholy. Athletic and limber despite her need for a cane following being wounded in action, Isosi is a phenomenal practitioner of Tutaminis, and excels in abilities of the mind.

Name: Jedi Master Chalcedony Isosi Kast

Age: 38 (as of 155 ABY), b. 117 ABY

Sex: F

Species: Iridonian Zabrak

Homeworld: Frithia

Occupation: Jedi Council Member

Height: 5'9"

Appearance: Despite the hardship of her younger years, Isosi Kast has a youthful face with a square jaw, and an upright, athletic body, though she does carry a cane. Her skin is light and sunkissed, with a light handful of freckles on her forehead and nose under her traditional Iridonian Zabrak tattoo— a bold line running horizontally across her cheeks and nose, following the contour of her face. She has two rows of petite horns atop her head stretching from her forehead, and two larger horns just behind her temples; she wears her collar-length dirty blonde hair up in a loose knot.

Isosi wears Jedi robes in blue and stone—her typical garb is a scoop-necked tunic with wide sleeves, tucked into grey trousers with utility pockets. She wears long, narrow tabards belted around her waist with a wide sash under a black leather belt with pouches. Her knee-high boots are a matching black leather, and lace up the front. Over it all, she wears a hooded wrap cape made of a double-faced wool or a deep blue fringed blanket weave poncho.

Weapons: One blue-bladed lightsaber pike styled for use as a walking cane.

Languages: Galactic Basic, Zabraki

Description of Abilities: Isosi is an exceptionally skilled practitioner of abilities of the mind, focusing heavily on Telekinesis, Force Defense, and Mind Trick. She is very skilled with military-grade weaponry, and is an excellent markswoman. Empathetic, kind, diplomatic, and intuitive, she does well navigating emotions and negotiations, yet is strong-willed enough to not be easily swayed.

Strengths: Believes deeply in the mission of the Jedi and the will of the Force. Diverse combat skillset and tactical knowledge due to her time as a GADF/GAR soldier. Clever, practical, and strong-minded. Likes to approach difficult situations head-on.

Weaknesses: Physically limited and must carry a walking cane. Prone to self-doubt and worry. Chronically depressed. Feels somewhat like an outsider in the Jedi Order, yet simultaneously deeply indebted to it for having saved her life.

Personality: Isosi was forged in the crucible of political resistance, and as such, is strong-minded and unflappable; but her journey as a Jedi has brought her clarity and understanding she formerly didn’t have. She is a humorous, kind, gracious, and sympathetic person, if a bit melancholy. Disciplined to her core, she is a staunch defender of Jedi virtues, and believes deeply and fiercely in the light side of the Force.

Biography: Born on the Imperial-occupied Zabrak colony world of Frithia in 117 ABY, Chalcedony Isosi Kast led a simple civilian life until her teen years. She had always known she was Force-sensitive—but because of the state of her homeworld, she was never approached by the Jedi, nor did she ever consider pursuing joining the Jedi. Her growing-up years were fraught with political tensions as the Sith-Imperial war raged; at 15, Isosi ran away from home to join a local anti-Imperial cell. Staunchly anti-Sith and anti-Imperial, Isosi's dream was to fight for peace and justice for the galaxy, as it used to be under the New Republic and the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. When she was 18, she joined the Galactic Alliance Defense Force's Army, and remained a part of it when it reorganized into the Galactic Alliance Remnant in 138.

Isosi had always felt that her place would be on the front lines of the Alliance with a blaster in her hands, fighting to make the galaxy right again. She felt that when the One Sith and the Empire were at last defeated, there would be ultimate peace, and wanted to be a part of the force that achieved that. She never thought that a religious order would be the avenue through which she could truly make a difference.

However, Isosi was gravely wounded in action and the sole survivor from her unit after a battle during the incursions to defeat the secular alliances of the One Sith during 140 ABY, putting her out of commission and forcing her into an extremely early retirement at 23 years of age. She was transferred to Coruscant, where she had to undergo rehabilitation and reconstructive surgery—deprived of everything she once loved and stuck with a walking cane for the rest of her foreseeable future, Isosi sunk into a deep depression. Her entire world seemed to come crashing down, just as victory had been within reach.

Feeling as though she had nowhere left to go, Isosi prepared to end it all; but before she was able to step off that ledge, thousands of stories up, she was approached by the Jedi. Offered a new lease on life and an opportunity to work towards making things good and right in the galaxy, Isosi took the hands outstretched to her, and began her journey with the Jedi. At last, she was able to put to good use the gift she knew she had.

Over a decade and a half later, Isosi has steadily climbed the ranks of the Jedi Order, only just recently earning a seat on the Jedi Council.

Grand Master Kei Durron, Jedi Master Druid
FB_IMG_1631171484091.jpg
Name: Kei Durron

Age: 86

Sex: Male (by birth), does assume Genderfluid identity through Alter Image

Species: Human

Homeworld: Coruscant

Occupation: Jedi Grand Master

Height: 6'7"

Appearance: Though into his venerable years for a normal human male, Kei has kept a youthful build through the sustaining power of the Light Side. His striking features are his emerald eyes and his flowing white hair.

Weapons:

• Green-bladed lightsaber fitted with two synthetic crystals. The main blade projects at 4', but there is also a secondary ventral blade at the bottom which projects a 9" blade.

• Yellow-bladed lightsaber fitted with a standard Adegan crystal, 4' blade

• White staff (6') with a purple gem at the apex; the gem is a Great Force Talisman used to focus energy based Force Powers and Spells

Equipment:

• Floor length hooded white Jedi robes

• Cortosis forearm gauntlets

• T'ra Saa's Holocron

• Plo Koon's Holocron

• Kyp Durron's Holocron

Pets: Kei has a Convor as his animal familiar companion.

Languages: Galactic Basic Standard, High Galactic, Shyriiwook (understanding), Binary/Droidspeak (understanding), Old Corellian, Huttese

Description of Abilities: Is a Master of both the conventional and non-conventional. Basic telekinesis all the way to altering the environment around him are not out of the wheelhouse. Through his many years of service within the Jedi Order, he has studied from many ancient Holocrons providing access and instruction in esoteric powers of the Force.

Strengths: He would consider his biggest strength to be his compassion for life of all kinds. He is skilled in negotiation and talking his way out of potential issues. In combat, his esoteric Force abilities are his strength, but they are a burden on his energy.

Weaknesses: His competence with a lightsaber is grossly lacking compared to other members of the Order presently, but he can still wield one decently effective (with the exception of while in Force Flight, as he is masterfully proficient in Trispzest). Objectively, his compassion could also be used as a weakness.

Personality: Kind, Compassionate, Is not quick to fight, Negotiable, Will fight for a cause that he believes in, Believes wholeheartedly in the goals of the Jedi Order

Biography: Kei Durron was born on Coruscant, at the time the home planet of the Jedi Order, in 70 ABY. A member of the powerfully Force sensitive Durron family, Kei was brought to the Jedi Temple when he was only 2 years old. He began studying the Force and the lightsaber as soon as his training began, taking as many chances as he could to enter the Jedi Library and learn the history of his Order.

His Master for 10 years was the legendary Neti Jedi Master, T'ra Saa. His training under Master Saa was unlike any other Master in the Jedi Order. She focused primarily on irregular aspects of the Force, most notably developing Kei's power of Alter Environment, which he uses for control over various phenomena such as rapid plant growth and control, or conjuring storms such as tornadoes and thunderstorms.

During his Mastership, he took a Padawan learner which he trained for seven years, and in the year of his Padawan's potential Knighthood, he was killed by the Emperor's Hand, Darth Nihl in the Massacre at Ossus in 137 ABY. This took a heavy toll on Durron, who had never lost an Apprentice before. But after a couple weeks of mourning his Padawan, he, like any other true follower of the Jedi Code forced himself to remember that "there is no death, there is the Force." Durron took great solace in this fact of existence.

Kei Durron now serves on the Jedi High Council as its head of body, the Grand Masted

Jedi Council
Character Sheet Template

Name: Robal Krahl

Age: 170 standard years

Sex: Male

Species: Human

Homeworld: Bakura

Occupation: Jedi Master

Height: 6’1”

Appearance: Robal is light-skinned with short white hair and a trimmed white beard. Brown eyes sit within a face lined with age, gold flecks occasionally catching the light.

Weapons: Lightsaber (single blade, orange)

Equipment: His personal Holocron,

Languages: Basic, Huttese,

Description of Abilities: Robal is an accomplished lightsaber duelist. Initially, he focused on Soresu, but later adopted Makashi as his primary form. He tends to be very reserved in combat, holding a defensive position until he can identify and exploit a weakness in his opponent’s technique. This serves to underline his skill with the Shatterpoint ability. Though he was very combat-centric in his youth, the advancement of age has forced him to adopt new tactics. These days, Robal prefers to outmaneuver his opponents rather than overpowering them.

Strengths: Robal dedicated much of his life to mastering the lightsaber, and is among the most accomplished practitioners of Makashi. He is well-versed in strategy, though he prefers to take a backseat to command.

Weaknesses: Though he is in excellent physical condition for his age, Robal is still over a century old. While he can draw on the Force to sustain himself, he is only able to do so for short periods of time. Prolonged physical exertion leaves him exhausted, and acrobatics are largely avoided. Robal can also be drawn out when the lives of others are at risk. He is a terrible shot with a blaster and, as such, tends to avoid using them.

Personality: Time and experience have tempered Robal’s recklessness, replacing it with patience and wisdom. He has a very relaxed demeanor, taking a calm and unhurried approach to life. He prefers to analyze a situation from all angles before taking action.

Biography: Robal Krahl was trained as a Jedi under the Galactic Defenders. His early years were spent battling foes from the New Sith Order, such as General Oochy, Rex Wiggins, and Ceifer. He would find a rival in the Sith Lord, Darth Vassago. The war between these two would spill across the galaxy as they took hold of their respective orders – Robal leading the Galactic Defenders and Vassago leading the New Sith Order. Neither would gain much ground on the other for years, despite numerous encounters between them.
When a distress call came from his homeworld of Bakura, Robal heeded the call. A group of Dark Jedi had assaulted the capital, enslaving the leadership and taking control of the planet. Robal arrived incognito and, over the course of the next few months, dispatched the Dark Jedi and freed Bakura. As thanks for his aid, the Bakuran leadership commissioned a small plaque, naming the Jedi as an eternal friend to Bakura.
For a time, Robal left the Jedi Order. He married a human female and the two had a daughter. Robal was content to live the life of a farmer, but fate seemed to have other ideas. Darth Vassago discovered Robal’s location and, with the aid of Mandalorian Duran Lomax, attacked the former Jedi’s home. In an attempt to draw out Robal’s anger, Vassago slaughtered his wife and daughter in front of him. When this failed to turn Robal, Vassago left him buried in the rubble of his home. Robal survived, however, and returned to the Order to continue the fight against the Sith. The New Sith Order fractured, apparently beaten, and Vassago disappeared. With the NSO beaten, Robal ventured into the unmapped expanse of Wild Space, intending to explore. He encountered many adventures, always upholding the ideal of the Jedi. At some point, he learned how to place himself in a Force Hibernation. He did so, remaining in a deep sleep within a stone temple for decades (which accounts for his old age).
He was awakened from his hibernation upon the emergence of war between the Federation and New Sith Order. It took some time to get his ship back into working order, but he finally was able to return to known space. He approached the Jedi Order and was welcomed back by the current Masters. Given his past experiences, Robal was added to the Jedi Council.

1.88 meters.

Appearance:
Jarik is the spitting image of his father, the former Grandmaster Deak Alder. His skin is light, and his hair long, medium shade of brown that stops short just above his brows. His beard is of the same shade with small flecks of salt and pepper beginning to show. His eyes are hazel, and he gives off a rather stern and commanding presence.

Weapons:
A single green-bladed lightsaber. An Echani dagger gifted to him by his stepfather, Kahn Iceay.

088d8b87a73691a380699c6e3e2df1f7.jpg

Equipment:
Com, credits, bacta viles, rations. He is also in possession of his stepfather’s ship the Erisi, albeit it seeing better days, Jarik is also fairly intuitive and certain his sister was conceived on board this ship despite being told no countless times by Amira herself, she teases her brother that his intuition is going to get him into trouble.

Description of Abilities:
Force Abilities: Jarik never knew his birth father, despite inheriting much of his strengths. However he was raised by his stepfather and picked up many of Kahn’s lessons. He is skilled in Telekinesis, lightsaber combat, telepathy. Much like his strong family line, he is a master of the force.

General Abilities: Skilled in the ways of Light Jarik is the youngest former Grandmaster of the Jedi having to fill the role his stepfather left behind after his passing. Jarik always left the diplomatic negotiations to his sister as he always struggled between keeping the peace and his warrior spirit. He is adept in Echani martial arts as well as survival skill.

Language Abilities: Speaks broken yet successfully fluent Echani. Old Corellian, Droidspeak, Basic, Mando’a, and very broken Cheunh.

Personality:
Jarik was the firstborn, headstrong, loyal, he has the strength of a warrior and the spirit of a peacemaker. Such causes an inner chaotic battle for him. He wants things done right, and will make sure it is done just so while forgetting of his own wellbeing. Despite his warrior spirit, he is kind, caring, and empathic. He speaks his mind and almost certainly would not back down from a challenge. Like a caged rancor the warrior within roars. Jarik has a humorous streak, but is almost always serious.

Strengths:
Jarik is well versed in battle tactic, he speaks well and is always focused on the mission at hand. He holds to the code and feels it is more...of a guideline following the more modern perception of the Jedi. He is usually calm and even tempered, even in the worst of situations. He is keenly aware of his surroundings, and is sharp witted.

Weaknesses:
There is much doubt that runs through Jarik. His mother left early on, his birth father was never found. He doubts his ability and it takes his sister to remind him that he can’t do it all. He is somewhat of a ladies man, yet has a sore spot after his relationship with his former master ended abruptly with her death.

Bio:
Jarik Deakin according to his mother was the son of the former Jedi Grandmaster Deak Alder. Born in 12ABY. His father’s time as Grandmaster was short lived. He had sent Jarik’s mother, an apprentice at the time, undercover to the Sith. Yet, just before her departure, Deak and Allegra had a night of passion. It was a wonder Jarik survived within his mother’s womb for those nine months after the abuse and torture his mother had undergone in her training with her Master, Soriph. Survive he did, once his mother knew of his existence she had done everything in her power to hide it from Soriph. Allegra (Vesper) escaped and fled to Nirauan where she met Bith’ya who would help her deliver her child and stay by her side as the child’s nurse. Allegra had only been 17 or 18 standard years. Returning to the temple she had discovered that the father of her child had taken up relations with her former Master. Allegra never told him of his son. Shortly after Deak Alder went on mission and never returned. It was never discovered what truly happened. Jarik was raised in secret, in a small attached room to his mother’s chambers. Jarik began training under a Knight, yet that too was short lived. His mother vacillated and dabbled with darkness. After a time he was raised by his mother’s partner, Kahn Iceay. His mother was adamant that her children be raised in the Light and not the Dark like she had constantly battled with. Allegra, now Darth Vesper, would visit her son on occasion as well as Kahn Iceay. After a time she returned and birthed his sister Amira, the two would become close as siblings and aid the Jedi for a time. Shortly after the death of the Jedi Knight in 25 ABY, at 13 years old, Jarik was taken on by a Jedi Knight, Zirri’loum’lessa, a young Chiss woman. Master Riless, for short. His mother could tell that feelings had arisen within his son, she had seen the way he looked at her as the master and apprentice dueled. It would be Master Riless who would be there for him in the death of his stepfather Kahn Iceay. Iceay had taught the boy much in his time within the universe and Jarik was forever grateful. After the death of their father, with the aid of their mother as ‘Regent’, Jarik and his sister, Amira, guided the Jedi as stand in Grandmasters of the Templar’s of Twilight. Master Riless would survive the downfall of the Jedi. Shortly after the suspension of his younger siblings in his Mother’s Dark Side Nexus Jarik and Master Riless would spark up the most interesting of friendships. She stayed with him in hiding until he too felt the need to stand by his mother’s side as the light to the darkness. Jarik’s plan was to assist his Master and lover to a safe zone with the remaining Jedi, yet little did they know they had been watched. As they fled, Master Riless’ life ended and Jarik had no choice but to leave the chaos. He met his mother in the Tamarian IV sector and she suspended him with the rest of his siblings. Jarik could only hope that he would reach his mother in time, show her the light once more and protect her and his siblings from darkness. It would be Kaden who would awake their mother as he was awoken by the sense of the former Dark Lord returning to power. Tak’ra, the youngest, had set out to find what remained of the Templars of Twilight. The twins remained with their mother. Jarik and Amira, however, decided they would seek out the lost Jedi, in time they would return for their mother, yet knowing full well she would make her own decision on her life path.

7a01428f31b5f2c1421f485fed079744.jpg

Equipment:
Comm, credits, rations, bacta viles.

Description of Abilities:

Force Abilities: Amira is quite balanced and centered. Despite taking well to the warrior path, having been trained by her father, Kahn Iceay in addition to her formal temple training, Amira chose the path her Master taught her, she found a home within the healing arts. Given this, she is still very fond of her battle skills within the force. She is also gifted in meditation like her mother, Vesper, and little does she know she has the empathic abilities, a trait she gleaned from her mother.

General Abilities: Skilled in the ways of Light she is considered a Master of the Force. Former Grandmaster of the Jedi, as well as skilled in Echani Martial Arts. Amira is gifted in diplomacy given her time as Grandmaster.

Language Abilities: Speaks fluent Echani. Old Corellian, Basic, Droidspeak.

Strengths:
Amira has the ability to see beyond the current circumstances, the bigger picture. She is headstrong and passionate when she feels strongly about things. A pious believer in the Jedi Code, much like her father. His death aided in her independent growth. She is very diplomatic and astute.

Weaknesses:
Amira is bothered by any mention of her mother. She feels entirely betrayed by Vesper. Vesper’s very name puts Amira in a mood. As such, she corrects anyone who calls her mother by her Sith name, and insists on the use of her birth name of Erisi. These issues with her mother spurns anger to fuel within her, in turn she regrets and harshly judges herself for such feelings.

Personality:

Amira’s tumultuous history has led to her guarded and walled personality. One might peel the initial layer back, but only her brothers have truly seen through her. Once peeled back, she is rather pious, though light hearted. She enjoys the simple things in life, everything happening at the appropriate time, as it should.

Bio:

Amira Esme Iceay, born in 14 ABY, to the Jedi Master Kahn Iceay and the Jedi Master Allegra Ziaen (born Erisi Amrei Caldan) on Ossus. Her mother had been swaying between her beliefs, drawn to the Dark Side by the Former Dark Lord, yet still having much love within her heart for Amira’s father Kahn Iceay, whom Vesper had met as a young Jedi Master. Vesper would return to Ossus to deliver Amira and reside with Kahn for a short time before leaving her daughter in the care of her father to return to the Dark Lord. Amira would not see her mother again until 16 ABY when she returned to the Jedi Temple, expecting the Dark Lord’s children. The young girl, only 2 standard years old, would remember the distant feeling she had gotten from her mother and the anger that raged within her father. He was displeased with the news of the twins and had nothing to do with her mother for some time. Vesper chose to stay for a longer period of time and Amira remembers the wedding of her mother and father in 19ABY quite fondly. The daughter of the Grandmaster Kahn Iceay would be trained by a Twi’lek female, Shakka Taan. The Master and Padawan had connected on a level only the Force could explain. Master Taan had taught her much about the Force, about plants, and healing. Kahn would teach her about the skills of a warrior. With the knowledge from both Master and Father Amira thrived. Her place, unlike her mother, was truly with the Jedi. During the time of peace Amira grew close to her mother and learned much about her mother’s history, her ways, her reasons for why she had chosen the path she had taken. Amira still did not understand and still felt troubled by her mother’s choices. Yet her mother was there and that was all that mattered. In 25 ABY, by now the Galactic Defenders had dissolved and the Templars of Twilight had taken over the Jedi Temple on Ossus. The Vong had taken up residence on one side of Ossus and 11 year old Amira felt ill at ease yet again. Trouble would strike, during a training exercise her Father Kahn Iceay was killed. Her mother was heartbroken and never fully recovered. Amira would spend countless nights awake with her mother who wrestled with darkness. Over time Vesper would feel that her husband deserved his death for disagreeing with her on how they should protect the twins from the Dark Lord. On the other Amira watched as her mother struggled with his loss. In the same year Amira suspected her mother of dabbling in non Jedi affairs. Dabbling with Darkness. She could tell her mother was on the cusp of leaving once again. She was wrong. For two years alongside her older brother Jarik, and with Vesper by their side as an acting regent. The two guided the Jedi as temporary Grandmasters, such was a troublesome time for the Jedi. Such was short lived as the Jedi Temple on Ossus was destroyed. Vesper removed her children as the Jedi fled into hiding. Meanwhile her mother made for the Tamarian IV sector with her children where they resided in a former Imperial base. It was here Vesper prepared the Dark Side Nexus so that her and her children would be safe until it was time to rise. Tak’ra, only 20 standard years of age and Amira (22) emerged first going into full suspension and slumber. The twins, Kaden and Zira (27) would be suspended 3 years later in 39 ABY along with their older brother Jarik, the son of the late Grandmaster Deak Alder (31). In 44 ABY their mother, Vesper, fully suspended in 44 ABY at the age of 48 (however she had stopped aging at 29 years of age). One hundred and ten years later Kaden awoke sensing a rise to power. He awoke his mother who in turn awoke her children. Once and only once did Vesper offer her children a chance to join her and experience the true power of the Dark Side. Jarik, Amira and Tak’ra refused, leaving the twins and their mother in darkness. Amira followed her brothers to the Jedi Temple on Tython which they discovered had been rebuilt under a new council, the name of one ringing a bell much throughout their mother’s history. Finding their way to Tython, Amira and her brothers integrated themselves and offered their services to the new council.

Age: 27

Sex: Male

Species: Arkanian

Homeworld: Arkania

Occupation: Jedi Knight, former nobility

Height: 6’2”

Appearance: Auberon stands tall, well-built, and fair-skinned. His completely white eyes are framed by golden locks, which are kept loose and flowing. To fit in with others, he wears golden contacts to appear as though he has irises. He bears four clawed digits on each hand.

Weapons: A golden-hilted, violet-bladed lightsaber, the parts having been gifted to him when he first entered the Academy; a vibrodagger and electrostaff which he uses during infiltrations where a lightsaber is inappropriate. As a member of House Adasca, he bears a weapon fitting of his station: a songsteel longsword with a thin, yet incredibly durable blade.

arod-megil4.jpg

Screen Shot 2022-06-16 at 1.21.39 PM.png
Equipment: A datapad, a holocommunicator, a supply of nutritional tabs, a waterbreather

Languages: Basic, Arkanian, Ancient Sith, Huttese, Droidspeak, Zabraki, Mando'a

Description of Abilities: Auberon harnesses powers which most appropriately fit into the roster of a Sith Hunter. As a Sentinel, he specializes in infiltration and elimination, a far darker occupation than most Jedi. He is also a fairly skilled pilot and slicer, as befits the job. His primary aggressive abilities consist of intense speed and mental torture.

Strengths: Auberon is remarkably capable of staving off the Dark Side despite his hatred for Sith. He pities them, in a sense, and this pity is what has prevented his own downfall into darkness. His confidence in his own abilities and faith in the Light Side have allowed him to survive many encounters which may have otherwise caused his death. As a pureblood Arkanian, he possesses vision of the infrared spectrum and a supercomputer-level intellect. His elementary skills, and his beginnings at the Jedi Temple in the arts of rhetoric, have made him a master of the art known as Dun Möch.

Weaknesses: His cold demeanor and natural arrogance in his racial superiority has put him at odds with many other Jedi, resulting in his staying at Knighthood for several years, despite his growing power. Additionally, while many disapprove of his vehement quest against the Sith, his results are undeniable and are a huge part of why he has not yet been banished from the Order.

Personality: Cold, arrogant, and determined, Auberon is dedicated to cleansing the galaxy of darkness and bringing about a lasting era of peace. He generally views younglings as an annoyance and anyone who disproves of his goals as a waste of his time. He believes an apprentice will hold him back in his ambition, but also knows that it is the only thing that will allow him to surge up the ranks and continue his crusade. Nevertheless, he is respectful of the Jedi hierarchy, even if he is disillusioned by the behavior of the Galactic Federation. Because his species develops incredible intelligence early on, Auberon has been able to remember his family and still cares very much for House Adasca on Arkania, and is personally invested in its well-being, even despite the new head of House, Amaunator Adasca.

Biography: Born in 128 ABY to Sul and Malie Adasca, two outlying members of the Arkanian royal family, Auberon was raised at a young age with the well-being of his people in mind. Educated at a young age, he become versed in the sciences, arts, and politics of his people. His father, however, began instructing him in an ancient language, which he claimed was historic to their people. The language was Sith, and though he was intelligent, Auberon was too young to question his father’s lessons. At age 11, he was approached by a member of the New Jedi Order and tested for midichlorians, which were found in abundance within him. His father was against his joining the Jedi, but Auberon was fascinated and driven by the Arkanian desire for perfection, so he accepted. At age 12, he was initiated as a Padawan learner and taken under the wing of Jedi Master Cyn Ji’dar, a revered Nautolan Consular who held archaic Jedi beliefs. While at first offset by Cyn’s slow and methodical methods, Auberon took on a deep respect and a sort of fascination with his teachings, learning to appreciate the calm methods and small amounts of aloofness his master displayed.
After years of training, Auberon was becoming a skilled Jedi in his own way, and his Master decided he was nearing his time for his Trials. By now, Cyn was like a father to him, someone he respected more than anyone else in the galaxy. So when they took a excavation trip to Tython and encountered a Sith warrior, Auberon was not prepared to see his Master fall in combat. Filled with anger, the young man utilized it, engaging the Sith in a ferocious duel from which he suffered many wounds. Not allowing these to overcome him, but failing to slay him. The warrior sensed the Padawan’s anger and offered him apprenticeship. Tempted not by power but by opportunity, the Jedi accepted, only to backstab his new “Master” moments later. The Sith had been too young and naive to believe that a Padawan could turn so easily. Taking his saber in hand, and the body of his fallen master, Auberon returned to the Jedi Temple, laying Cyn to rest. He was thereafter knighted for slaying a Sith, but he was left unsatisfied. The experience had left him bitter and filled with fury. Determined to avenge his master and to cleanse the galaxy of evil, Auberon adapted his skills to be useful in espionage, infiltration, and elimination, forming himself into a Sith Hunter for the Jedi.
Since rising as a Jedi Knight, Auberon has pressed himself to perform well, exhibiting skill and power even on par with some of the Jedi Council. Yet, for all his skill, he has not trained an apprentice, or risen to the rank of Master, for he is too focused on righteous vengeance. Unlike other Jedi protegé of times past, however, he has repressed any temptation to turn to the Dark, instead utilizing such passions in his drive to utterly destroy the Sith.
For the last seven years his missions have comprised of foiling Sith uprisings and eliminating small Sith hideouts, but the assault on Coruscant put a damper on his momentum. He seeks now to stir up the passions he has among the rest of the Jedi for the purpose of crushing the newly-revealed New Sith Order.

Name: Master Allunk Soss

Age: 35

Sex: Male

Species: Trandoshan

Homeworld: Trandosha

Occupation: Hunter

Height: 6’ 6”

Appearance: Green Scales, Red Eyes, and Dark Brown robes

Weapons: A yellow bladed lightsaber, and an orange bladed lightsaber

Equipment: Holocomm, slicing tools

Languages: Dosh, Broken Basic

Description of Abilities: Aggressiveness in the name of duty

Strengths: Jar'kai, Slicing, Hunting

Weaknesses: Tends to lean more to the Dark Side in the name of duty

Personality: There is no contemplation, there is only duty.

Biography: Taken as a youngling at the age of two, Allunk was raised in the Jedi temple. Focusing on a specific line in his studies, “There is no contemplation, there is only duty,” it became a motto for him. All things were to be done in the name of duty.

As he grew up he became a very good tracker, unsurprisingly due to his Species own natural talent for hunting. But it was more than they really knew as he began seeing different paths at times that would push those he pursued into a trap he had no way of knowing was there. His teachers began to notice and were sure without a doubt that he must have the unique skill of Shatterpoint.

As his skills grew he began to ask his teachers why he began to understand people better after touching their stuff. Surprised once again they had him train directly under the Sentinels intending for him to eventually begin to hunt down Dark Side users. What they didn’t realize was how seriously he would take that job. Everytime he came face to face with an opponent, he began and ended the interaction with “There is no contemplation, there is only duty,” often ending with the opponent dead, or completely comatose. Even so he rised quickly through the ranks and continues to hunt in the name of duty to this day.

During the fall of Coruscant Master Allunk Soss was offworld, though he was still facing opposition himself. He had been tracking a Sith, but noticed too late that he walked into a trap. Just before he engaged the enemy he felt the death of many of his brothers and sisters as the temple fell. The pain that he felt turned to instinctual anger due to his race, he was ready to lash out. “There isss no contemplation, there isss only duty!” He hissed as he rushed forth to confront his opponents. Unknowingly his emotions began getting the best of him as he struck down and killed each of them, all whilst the yellow lightsaber in his left hand slowly turned orange with each strike. As the last Sith fell, and he finished his ritual quote to end each battle, he finally realized what he had done and felt remorse.

Tears filled his eyes as he meditated over what he had done. But the meditation would not be for long as he received a summons. There were still more Jedi alive, there was hope.

Equipment: His pride and joy is a modified "ugly" Lamda-Class T-4A Shuttle named The Gamorrean Express which he and his father "acquired" near the end of the Sith Imperial War in those chaotic days after the Massacre at Ossus, in the 25 years since many modifications and repairs have been made but it is reliable and fast.

A FEG-series pilot droid, FEG-SK8, called "Skate", has been his trusted companion and was once owned by his father. It has been in the "family" for nearly 40 years and has a vast database of little known routes and shortcuts across the galaxy, it also considers itself something of a gunslinger and will often times swipe the .48 calibur Enforcer without Jax knowing and keep it under it's co-pilot seat.

Droid Gunslinger.jpeg
He also owns his father's body armor, oilcoat, gloves, and boots from his career as a Morellian Enforcer. Most tools he would need for working on the ship, and a cargo bay full of used parts for almost anything imaginable.

Languages: Galactic Basic Standard, Morellian, Bocce.
Description of Abilities: Seasoned pilot with years of experience travelling the galaxy, he is a capable mechanic and one hell of a shot with either his blaster or .48 cal. He's also a damn good cook.
Strengths: Pilot, sharpshooter, mechanic.
Weaknesses: While strong doesn’t have the best cardio conditioning, he prefers snacking and cooking to exercise. Is incredibly curious and has a hard time passing up a "good deal", but is cautious to not put himself in danger.
Personality: Pragmatic. Is usually jovial and easy to get along with, always willing to offer a helping hand.

Biography: Born to a Bakurian human mother named Jalal, and Morellian father named Manx Brt'n in 71 ABY he grew up mostly on Bakura with his mother as his father was often gone, "working" as he was told, a spacer running freight to be clear. As time passed it became apparent that his mother was aging faster both he and his father so it was at this time that Manx told his son the truth of his heritage. As weird as this family seems, it worked, and they were happy for many years. When Jax reached adulthood he began to go to work with his father, but split his time staying at home with his aging mother. When Jalal passed in 128 ABY Jax joined his father and Skate full time, they stayed together travelling from planet to planet following work opportunities for almost thirty years until Manx finally passed away.

It was only after Manx passed that Skate revealed to Jax a family heirloom, the lightsaber of his great uncle. The droid went on to reveal to him a story about Nyx Brt'n, a Jedi from before the fall of the Republic. He continued hauling freight for a few years, but after the loss of his father it was a lonely life and though he longed for something different this was all he knew. He found himself looking at his ancestor’s weapon often wondering what Nyx's life could have been like, sometimes he'd even hold the weapon, though never turned it on.

The sacking of Coruscant would change his life forever.

Jax was one of a loosely organized and widespread web of good hearted spacers who used their ships to aid in the escape of countless refugees, it was on his third return trip that picked up a group who had made it to Jerrilek which contained two Jedi who asked him to take them directly to Tython.

He has only been on Tython a week, but already he has been offered a chance to train to be a Jedi. He hadn’t even had a chance to inquire about any knowledge these Jedi might have about Nyx or present to them his lightsaber, they told him that they could sense his connection to the Force. That he would recognize it’s presence in his life through his reflexive piloting style, his accuracy as a marksman, and his uncanny “luck”.

He did not yet know who his master would be, or if he’d have a master at all, he wasn’t sure how all of this worked. Tython was chaotic, so he waited. Besides, the food was good.

Name: Nissa Khes

Age: 113 (the equivalent of 16 human years in appearance and social/emotional development; average life-span for the species is about 700 years.)

Sex: Female

Species: Gurlanin

Homeworld: Raydonia

Occupation: n/a

Height: variable

Appearance: : In her natural form, Nissa is a 5 ft long, black canid with white markings. She can assume almost any form as large as a fully grown human.

Preferred forms: Nautolan, Mirialan, Nagai and Human

Clothing: Nissa usually wears soft, flexible clothing that moves with her, or Jedi robes.

Weapons:
-dual-phase lightsabers (amber crystal)
-Durasteel vibroblade, 12 inch

Equipment: Datapad, wrist com, syntherope, med kit, smoke grenades

Languages. Galactic Basic, Nautolan,

Description of abilities: Nissa has natural Gurlainin abilities including telepathy with her own species, echolocation, and a naturally soothing, hypnotic voice. She is polymorphic, agile and a quick learner.

Personality: Nissa is adventurous, but sometimes has a lack of confidence in herself. She is shy, having never quite fit in around her peers. She is inquisitive and has a love of exploring reading. Around those she is comfortable with, Nissa is bright, selfless and determined.

Bio: Nissa’s parents, Zesha and Kilean were both natives of Quilura, but after decades of invasions, and wars, they hesitantly made the decision to leave their home planet before the birth of their daughter. Passing as human refugees, Zesha and Kilean made their way to the outer rim, to the less populated, colonist planet of Raydonia to escape further potential turmoil.

When the couple arrived on the planet, a Nagai hermit named Tarin Siig assisted them in locating land and living quarters. Tarin frequently checked in on Zesha and Kilean, offering resources and assistance, eventually becoming a family friend.

Nissa was born on Raydonia. Her parents instilled in her the importance of keeping her head down and not standing out. They encouraged her to use a singular human form while outside the house so as not to draw attention to herself. Tarin sensed the potential of the girl early on and, from the time she could walk, he would test her force abilities in small ways. A telepathic message here and covert use of telekinesis there. She was exceptionally nimble and quick as well as meeting developmental milestones far earlier than the average human.

When Nissa was 2, Tarin began to impress upon Zesha and Kilean, her potential and the need for her to foster her unique skills. He began working with her more outwardly to demonstrate her use of the force to her parents. Zesha and Kilean finally revealed their reasons for coming to Raydonia and the fact that they were Gurlainin. This came as no surprise to Tarin, being an intelligent, observant and force sensitive individual himself. He, in turn, revealed that he was a Jedi and had sensed that the child Zesha carried was force sensitive. It took over a year for Tarin to finally convince Zesha and Kilean to part with their daughter and allow her to go to Coruscant to be assessed for training.

On Coruscant, Nissa was shy and apprehensive, but passed assessment tests with great ease and high marks. Tarin guided the child as much as he could as she settled in, but he knew that his place was not with her. When he was reassigned, Nissa kept to herself even further. The Council saw the need for socialization and paired her with a number of other Jedi Masters for the rest of her rudimentary training and education. Eventually, Nissa grew used to ever-changing environments and guidance and enjoyed learning all she could from whoever she could.

Grrwodrr was born in a small village in the Rwookworro region of Kashyyyk. As the oldest of three siblings, he was taught to be a provider at a young age when their father didn't come home from a hunt. The Wookiee was discovered to be Force Sensitive at the age of 14 after his initiation into young adulthood was already over. Knowing the conflict between the Jedi Order and the various Sith, his family and tribe chose to keep it a secret.

At the age of 32 years old Grrwodrr was established as one of the best hunters in his village. He led countless expeditions into the Shadowlands of his homeworld. Before long however a bigger threat emerged. Members of the tribe began to go missing without a trace. Initially it was assumed to be the various dangers of Kashyyyk however before long the truth was revealed. An enemy of the Wookiees as old as history itself. Trandoshans.

When his sister went missing was when Grrwodrr decided to handle the Trandoshans himself. Tracking them to a nearby camp he stalked his prey and slew them before locating his sister. She was being held prisoner by the hunt leader holding a blaster to her head. Tossing his Rhyyk sword aside, he challenged the Trandoshan in combat. He won the duel but the damage was done, he had used his claws.

Deemed a madclaw, Grrwodrr was banished from his tribe. Choosing to go into exile he stalked the Shadowlands for over three decades. He honed his skills in the Force to amplify his ability to survive. Eventually he came across a smuggler making repairs to his ship on the shore of a lake. With some… convincing, the smuggler agreed to take the Wookiee off world.

For several years he had wandered the Galaxy. Taking work where he could find it whether as a mercenary, mechanic or even a farmhand. The entire time he struggled to find his place in the Galaxy and the violence of his past weighed heavy on his mind and heart. After some time Grrwodrr began to regret what his life had become. Seeking peace from the conflict within, as well as a bit of redemption, the Wookiee sought the Jedi.

Name: Cessik Phinx

Age: 30

Sex: Male

Species: Stennes Shifter
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Stennes_Shifter/Legends

Homeworld: Stennaros (although was born and raised in space switching between multiple planets)

Occupation: Jedi Knight

Relationships:
Master Chalcedony Isosi Kast (Former Master)
Krossade "Kross" Tjänare (Apprentice)

Height: 5'7

Weight: 145 lbs

Appearance: Cessik is a rather frail-looking individual sporting bluish pale skin with browning features. His cheeks are gaunt and his eyes sunken, he more resembles a walking corpse than a living humanoid which is typical of his people. His ghoulish characteristics often provoke fear and confusion from onlookers. Due to this, he is rarely seen without his signature mask which now more bears the name Cessik Phinx than his true face. The mask, a similar build to ancient Mandalorian armor expresses a fierce sense of judgment upon those who are cursed to discover it in the shadows. The blue and white color scheme which matches the rest of his armor symbolizes his pledge to the Jedi and the Order he stands for along with the possibility of glaring against any strong light source causing potential difficulties against any blasters or rifles. Both Mask and Armor are constructed using beskar alloy.

Weapons: A saber staff sporting dual purple blades containing both focus and etaan crystals. The hilt is constructed of beskar alloy with carbon fiber grips. Each emitter exhibits extended crown-like teeth which can be utilized as makeshift weapons if any malfunctions were to occur.
Twin Vibro daggers, one in either boot.

Equipment: Datapad, holocom

Languages: Galactic Basic, Droidspeak, Huttese, Shyriiwook, Jawaese

Description of Abilities: Although he may seem fragile, what Cessik lacks in physical strength he makes up for it in dexterity and stealth. Due to an innate sensitivity to the force, a common occurrence among all Stennes Shifters, Cessik could use a form of telepathy to pass unseen allowing him to easily disappear into crowds, something that he does quite often to avoid being discovered by his targets. Another racial ability he possesses is that of feeding on the force expended by any beings in his vicinity although this was quite frowned upon by his order so he only uses it in dire situations or against any Sith prey he has engaged.

Strengths: Stealth is second nature to Cessik, a mixture of natural proficiency mixed with years of training has left him a metaphorical missile aimed from the Jedi directly toward the Sith. While he operates in the shadows performing deeds that border the gray area of his code he still stays ever vigilant in his teachings hoping one day to follow his master's footsteps upon the Jedi Council.

Weaknesses: A strange conflict continuously hassles him, while his name is known and that of his continued service for the Jedi against the remaining Sith and any of their followers his face only elicits fear and horror among the common community. This prevents Cessik from personally approaching anyone outside of the Order for anything from information to just a casual conversation without his renowned mask. His physical appearance coupled with the common derogatory alias' for his race (Force Eaters/Vampires) has always been his heftiest burden.

Personality: Cessik behind the mask is a skilled, confident individual who has no limits and never admits defeat while Cessik without the mask is a peaceful, exemplary member of the Jedi Order, heavily due to his stride to be the opposite of the bulk of his species.

Biography: Life for Cessik was far from encouraging, his childhood memories nothing more than vast hulls loaded from wall to wall with the remaining members of his species. What little time that was spent outside of the freighter was among star-ports and landing bays, and that was just long enough to board another vessel and this never-ending cycle became the norm for him and his generation of Shifters.

As he grew older, probably around 10 or 11, his memory was truly fuzzy with the details of many past events, he and several others that he could've once referred to as "friends" began taking advantage of their natural connection with what he later learned was the force. The 5 of them would spend their planet side time, something they rarely got unless the elder members of the group had any business to conduct, seeking out and marking targets for one another to snatch from. It was only a game to them and they had no idea what to do with the items they "acquired" during their playtime since currency and value was something never taught to them, so they more often went after the shinier, more extravagant looking trinkets or jewelry. This game grew in difficulty as the winner was quickly decided by a few factors

1. The size of the piece
2. The difficulty of acquiring the item
3. How close they were to getting caught
4. How creative their getaway was

This routine game became a staple in their lives, something they all looked forward to but more significantly, it is how Cessik found himself as part of the Jedi Order.

He and his friends were playing as they typically did walking around the landing bays picking out targets for one another while the others were stationed somewhere to watch and judge each's successes. This time was quite like the rest, a target had been selected and Cessik had started the prowl following his victim while sticking to the shadows and crowds. He stuck tightly to them making every turn they made without bringing any attention to himself, her blue robes made it easy to keep up with her even if he allowed himself to lag slightly. His mark was a polished cylinder-shaped object that his soon-to-be prey seemed to use as a walking stick, this only added to the difficulty and provided him with a better chance of winning today's games. The biggest difficulty of this task was that he would have to trail her until she decided to release the polearm from her grasp, which seemed highly unlikely but Cessik was determined.

Several minutes had passed as he stalked this woman around the landing bay then finally he had got the chance he had been waiting for, the female target had stopped at a small vendor set up just off of the main walkway and began to converse with him placing her shiny stick up against the frame of the stall as she retrieved what Cessik only assumed would be credits from a pouch on her belt. "Now was the time," Cessik thought to himself as he scurried up to the booth remaining silent and trying to not alert the female or the vendor owner. He reached the staff and quickly glanced around before grasping it but before he could even lift it from where it rested the woman turned to him making some remark that Cessik honestly couldn't process due to the shock of the situation. He had never been detected before but she seemed to have known he was there before he even made a move for the staff. He trembled as he only expected the worse to come as a punishment, others had attempted in the past but Cessik was agile enough to break away from there but she carried herself quite light and he knew this wouldn't be like any of the others. He looked to the rest of his group with a horrified panic drawn across his face, they scattered immediately making a break for the vessel they would be leaving on but he stood frozen, hand still wrapped around the cold steel of the staff. All he could do was look up at the female, her skin a soft tan hue and tiny horns adorned her brow. As she spoke to him he winced expecting harsh, gruff words to be spat his way followed by physical pain but instead, she spoke in a calm soft-spoken tenor. The words still escaped him as he listened to her lesson and the explanation of her being a member of the Jedi Order, Cessik had heard tales about Jedi but had never met one before now. Mixed emotion wailed up inside of him as fear, excitement, regret, and eagerness filled him to the rim. While he had never felt safer, her presence seemed to emanate a soft glow of protection, he was embarrassed that of everyone in the galaxy he was caught by a Jedi. While already dealing with a plethora of emotions the lady knelt matching his height and asked him something he'll never forget

…"How would YOU like to be a Jedi?"...

Cessik jumped at the opportunity and has never looked back, while he had thoughts about his family and friends he quickly learned to silence those emotional memories and focused the majority of his time on his studies of the force and the time spent learning from his newly acquired master.

Name: Stryker Kai
Age: 44
Sex: Male
Species: Human
Homeworld: Kashyyyk
Occupation: Jedi
Height: 6’0”
Appearance:
  • Skin Color: Tan
  • Hair Color/Hairstyle: Dark Brown Peppering gray hair slicked back
  • Eye Color: Dark Mud Brown
  • Facial Features: Scar Across Face With the Letters R. E. Going Diagonal From Left Eye
  • Cybernetics: Cybernetic arm starting from the elbow down on his right side (is left handed)
  • Outfit: Grey and Brown cross vestments.
Weapons: Stryker wields two standard lightsabers. Though standard in term, their design is as intricate and thought out as his path has been with the Jedi Order. The encasement of the mechanism of his lightsabers, instead of being made from metals like most of his brothers and sisters in the Jedi Order, are made from the bark of the Brylark Tree given to him by the Order. The pommels are made up of snarling teeth of a Terentatek from the Shadowlands themselves. As for the emitters, they were sculpted like plateauing mountains designed from Doonium metal alloy due to his love and devotion to traveling the Galaxy and keeping the citizens of the Republic safe. Encased inside the lightsabers are two Cyan lightsaber crystals. During his time hiding on Kashyyyk, he also wielded a Ryyk blade during his solitude on the forest planet.

Equipment: Jedi Utility Belt

Languages: Galactic Basic, Shyriiwook, Binary, Huttese

Description of Abilities: All of Stryker’s learned Force abilities have been severed and forgotten needing direction and guidance to relearn what was lost. He was a former wielder of Ataru mixed with Soresu. Learning to survive, he adapted the Wookiee Martial Art form Wruushi with the elegance of Echani Martial Arts to make up for the lack of his size unable to match up to the actual brute strength and size of the Wookiee people.

Strengths: Tinkering, Lightsaber Combat, Debating, Compassionate and Pazaak

Weaknesses: Can be too trusting of others, has tendencies to be too prideful in certain moments and is afraid of taking on a Padawan.

Personality: Stryker is a very extroverted person who likes to focus on the outer world. He prefers to focus on interpreting and adding meaning to the information he is given in order to get a full rounded perspective. When making decisions, he will first look at each person and special circumstance. Stryker will always prefer to stay open to new options and information when dealing with the outside world. Even though he is a man of optimism and high energy, Stryker faces questions and curiosities that contradict the rules of the Jedi Order. He listens to his Masters as they instruct, but there are things in his eyes he is unsure of how they couldn’t be different, but due to his status, decides to keep most of it to himself.

Biography: Stryker was born to two Republic Officers who had escaped from enslavement on the Smuggler’s Moon, Nar Shaddaa. Dakk Kai and Akkaa Kai were kidnapped by the Red Eclipse Slavers after derailing a major slaving operation that they were running. Escaping on one of their ships, they attempted to go back to Coruscant, but the ship they escaped in was badly damaged. This caused them to crash land on the Wookiee homeworld, Kashyyyk, where they were sanctioned by one of the local clans and helped Akkaa give birth to their first son.

Due to the complications of their crash landing, Dakk and Akkaa would soon pass, but not before hailing a distress call to the Republic to save their son. Stryker was soon retrieved, and not long after, taken in by the Jedi. His time as a youngling was formative and he found himself to be overly curious about many things. It would be the very trait that led him to his Master.

Stryker’s Master was cool-headed and succinct in his decision making. Something Stryker was the complete opposite of, but over the years, he would learn to take on his Master’s traits and better hone his own skills as a young Jedi. One such particular moment was one of his last missions before his Knighthood Trials. Stryker and his Master were sent to find a fellow Master of the Jedi Order. He had been sent on a mission to Nar Shaddaa, but hadn’t made contact with the High Council in a couple of rotations, which led to worry and caution for the council. They went quickly, ensuring they were on their way to the Smuggler’s Moon immediately.

Once on the planet, Stryker and his Master began retracing some of the last sent data logs of the missing Jedi. They went to a few cantina’s, checked out the promenade, but nothing was coming up, until Stryker wandered off on his own and walked up to two Trandoshan standing at the entrance to yet another cantina. He had asked them if they had seen the Jedi, but instead of a response, he was knocked out from behind and dragged away.

When he had come to, Stryker had awoken in some sort of prison cell when a red scaled Trandoshan walked up to him. The man was missing an eye and both his hands were cybernetic claws. He had approached Stryker and began interrogating him, asking the young Padawan what he knew and who else he was with. Stryker tried to remain stalwart against the man, but the Trandoshan was ruthless and tortured him relentlessly.

The Trandoshan would reveal his name to be Ussk Trussis and when he had gotten all he could out of Stryker, it became apparent to him that having a Jedi slave could be quite profitable, but to claim his prize, he branded Stryker with the Red Eclipse’s initials going diagonally across his face. Trying to stop the branding iron, he had gotten his arm free and tried to retaliate against the slaver. Ussk would catch the movement quite quickly and would respond with his vibrosword, hacking off Stryker’s right arm just at the elbow.

It was at this point Stryker's Master had started making his own doorway through the wall with his lightsaber and throwing the durasteel wall onto Ussk to keep him trapped. As his Master attempted to rescue him, he had asked Stryker if he was okay and used his full name which caught the struggling Trandoshan’s ears. Ussk looked at the pained Padawan and before he too fell unconscious to the succumbing pain he was in, he would let out the words that he looked just like his father.

Once recovered, he found himself with a new cybernetic arm and a scar that would never go away. The Masters would sit with him to help him meditate and to learn from the experience to try and come out better for it. He knew from this moment on he couldn’t let his emotions take on the actions he would make. He soon dedicated himself to tying to his own roots and to keep as many people safe and alive to bring peace to the Galaxy. But even after returning to Ossus, the words Ussk had told Stryker would rack and occupy his brain. Why would he know his father? Was his father someone so horrible and cruel to be affiliated with that man? He couldn’t rationalize that thought, so he decided to do some digging on his own time.

Over some time, Stryker had discovered that his parents weren’t partners with Ussk, but in fact escaped slaves who had barely made it out with their lives and not only that, but former Republic Officers to boot. When they had escaped, the ship they were on was actually in need of repairs and because of which crash landed on the Wookiee home planet, Kashyyyk. It was there where apparently Stryker had been born and not long after, brought to Ossus by the Republic. The little information given was just from a rough translation when retrieving Stryker from the Wookiee village that had cared for him until the distress call was answered. The thoughts of Kashyyyk gave Stryker minor visions and thoughts of the forested planet. He decided it was there, he needed to go, not for finding answers from his parents, but to find a connection of himself he believed to be missing.

Stryker would put in a request to go to the planet just before his Knighthood Trials. He would use the reason of crafting his lightsaber to be an extension of his true self to get the go ahead, which with luck, he did. Setting foot on the forest planet gave Stryker this overwhelming feeling. As if he was connected to the very ground he walked on. The sensation was intoxicating to say the least. But he settled his mind and continued forward. Making his way further and further into the forests of Kashyyyk, Stryker would find himself reaching into a darker and more treacherous looking place. The Wookiees called this place, The Shadowlands, but it wasn’t anything Stryker was at all familiar with. For the most part, he just listened to the wilderness around him and tried to let it guide him to wherever it was he believed he needed to be.

It was in a giant open field that Stryker found himself stopping and staring at the area around him. His heart had slowed down as he felt a sudden change around him. Something dangerous. Igniting his lightsaber, he would turn around to see a charging beast. With its head crowned by a number of long spikes, two small eyes, a large mouth filled with sharp fangs flanked by two tusks, a downward pointed chin and his upper limbs ending in three clawed digits. A Terentatek. As it charged at him, Stryker leapt over it and tried to use his lightsaber to cut it down its back. Though it did damage, it didn’t do nearly as much as it should have. Mostly due to the fact that Terentatek hides are highly resistant to lightsabers. Resistant did not mean immune, however and with precision and careful action, Stryker would battle this unnatural beast.

With what seemed like forever, Stryker found an opportunity with a damaged Worshyr tree on his right. As the Terentatek charged at Stryker again, he would throw his lightsaber at the leaning tree to give it the last little push it needed. The tree came crashing down right on top of the creature. As he confirmed the beast was defeated, he noticed one of the Terentatek's tusks had been snapped off from the tree’s impact. Picking it up, he knew it was this very tusk that he would craft his new lightsaber. He wanted his lightsaber to truly be a saber that represented this planet and that even a person like himself could come from some of the most unexpected places. Plus, with a lightsaber made more from materials of life and nature, it made him feel a little more connected with one of his arms no longer being organic.

As he was preparing his departure from the forest planet, a pain struck Stryker. A grand disturbance in the Force. What would later be told to him was known as the Ossus Massacre, would be the fall and destruction of the Jedi and the Republic. The void he felt from the Force was horrifying. His instincts told him returning to the Order would be impossible and that survival was the only answer. Internally, he severed himself from the Force and would start a hidden life within the depths of the Shadowlands. It wasn’t until decades later, a group of young Jedi would stumble upon him and offer to bring him back to the New Jedi Order where he could restart his life from where he had began so long ago. His heart swelled learning he no longer was the last surviving Jedi as he thought, but it sank not long after realizing this meant the situation wasn’t as dire as he had perceived and the Order could have used his help all those years ago. It drove him to find a new purpose with the Jedi to rededicate a promise long thought impossible to upkeep.
