IC: Commander Threntel
Coruscant – Jedi Temple District

At times, it seemed like the rubble of the Jedi Temple still smoked under the boots of the Final Sith Order’s army. The crumbled walls and ruined streets made the city unrecognizable. Once a strong-standing symbol of hope for the galaxy, it was now laid waste to, devoid of all former beauty.
A warrior in armor from times now past surveyed the scene, his plastoid boots further shattering the broken glass fallen from the windows of the now-desolate temple. His vision was painted red from behind the eyes of the Galactic Empire-era stormtrooper’s helmet he wore, a red centurion’s plume arching along the crest. His surveyance showed only dead bodies, mostly Jedi, strewn about the ruins. No survivors hid here, at the very least.
Commander Threntel,” he heard a voice say, turning to face the oncoming Sith trooper. He carried a datapad which he handed to the commander. “We have tracked the fleeing Jedi towards the Crimson Corridor district. We were not able to pursue, as they detected some of our scouts, so we only have a rough estimate of their location, but they cannot be further than that.
Threntel put a hand to the chin of his helm, contemplating. “Well done, trooper. This intel is good. Alert Officer Rashaan of this development. I’ll be there to lead them shortly.
Yes sir,” the trooper replied, saluting before making his exit, leaving Threntel alone once more.
He felt the buzz of his holocommunicatior and withdrew it swiftly. The cerulean light moulded into the shape of his master’s upper body, spiked, skeletal armor with a matching visage staring up at him through dead eyes.
Commander Threntel, I understand that the Jedi remain on the planet and have holed up. You still have work to do,” Lord Xarxes growled.
Hail, Lord Xarxes,” said the commander, bowing his head and crossing his free hand across his chest in salute. “Indeed. My scouts have informed me they are making their stand in the Crimson Corridor district, or somewhere near it. We are preparing to move on them.
No, commander,” barked the Sith. “I want that temple controlled. Do not abandon it. Smoke them out, hold the temple, and when their hiding place is emptied, I shall join you. In the meantime, another matter requires my attention. I trust you to utilize my resources well.
The zealous commander nodded, the plume of his antiquated helm rustling in Coruscant’s soft wind, the eye shield glinting in the fading light of the sunset. “It shall be done, my Lord.
The Dark Lord nodded, before two other figures walked into the sapphire light. These ones were shorter, but equally burly, bearing white and red ragged cloth around fearsome armor. Their faces were hooded and cowled, and all that could be seen of their faces were piercing, horrifying eyes.
These are my Zealots. I am sending three down to the planet to be at your beck and call. They will ensure your progress remains on track.
Threntel was thankful for the extra muscle, but knew very well what the Sith’s words meant. Be effective, or you will be killed. Somehow, these unspoken threats felt much more real when alluded to by Xarxes than other Sith, and Threntel bowed his head in affirmation. The hologram was cut, and Threntel looked towards the neighboring district. Somewhere out there, the Jedi lay in wait to mount an assault, to reclaim their home.
Threntel would not allow it.

The armored transport shook violently as it paced back and forth across the sky, trying desperately to evade cannon fire. Whoompfs and cracks sounded all around as flares and defense systems fired. The troop transport was part of a series of reinforcements sent to aid Commander Threntel. He had secured the ancient Jedi Temple and was going to begin pursuit of the cursed Jedi that dared to stand against the Final Sith and their Empress. A dozen Imperial infantrymen were crammed into the ship, their armor rattling with every minor movement. They had the fortitude to keep their heads, but many fidgeted. Some hummed songs of war, others drummed their armored thighs. But the thirteenth man was no ordinary trooper. Vesuvius Remus Andromedus II stood at the front of the group. His deep black braided hair hung in knots over his sinewy shoulders. Robes of black and pale purple contrasted his blood red skin. Not many men had the gall to wear jewelry and fine robes into battle, but a Sith prince is by no means ordinary. Even still, his lightsaber clinked on his hip. The anticipation in the bay was palpable. One could cut the tension with a knife. “How much longer until we reach the LZ?” his curt tenor voice called above the noise. The Lieutenant next to him held a hand to his helmeted head. “Thirty seconds!” was the reply. Vesuvius stared at the exit and steeled himself for what was to come.

T
he ship's engines screamed as it raced to a barely controlled landing on the Processional Way. Vesuvius and the troops quickly marched out of the open hatch as the ship’s engines fired once more, carrying it back into the air. The troops continued their stomping march past the weapons placements strewn about the rubble. They were to make contact with someone inside or some such. Vesuvius didn’t know, or care much what they had to do. So he turned to watch the burning skyline for a moment. Though he was far removed from the current fighting, Vesuvius found the whole situation… intoxicating. It had been a year since Zeltros and here he stood. An acolyte of the Sith. The circumstances would have overwhelmed a lesser man. But Vesuvius was long accustomed to being stretched, being raked over the metaphorical, and sometimes literal coals. But joining the Sith had been his biggest challenge yet. And it was not one he intended to fail. Blood would be spilled in the coming hours and he swore it would not be his. Smoke rose from a thousand fires and ash rained like snow. It was as if he had stepped out of reality and into one the levels of Ardasa. He could feel the Force churning all around him. Darkness now ruled this world. He breathed in a breath of the acrid air and held it for a heartbeat. A smile curled the edges of his red lips. He was going to enjoy his time here. Pulling himself out of this moment of introspection he turns towards the temple. He now marched his way inside to find one of the other Sith dispatched to fight the Jedi.
As he walked, Vesuvius marveled at the destruction of the once magnificent temple. He neared the “Great Hall”, though it was no longer fitting of that title. With curiosity and fervor he stepped through the threshold, ready to begin the fight.

"I reach the end of the trail. The air is still and I am a hunter. The hunt has led me to the forgotten edges of the world. Seasons pass, drawing me deeper into the darkness, where I have found the truth. That my redemption is found in ashes. That I must burn away the past to set things right. Once an Assassin, now their pursuer, I must destroy those who I once called brother. The air is still and I am a hunter."
-Shay Patrick Cormac, Assassin's Creed: Rogue

* * *

The Jedi Temple was just in sight.

Nekrosis stared at the building, recalling the near two decades he had spent in those very walls. How not long after he left, the Sacking of Coruscant had taken place. It was things like this that made him believe that the Force did indeed have a will. That he was meant to have become a Sith, to be here now to fight the Jedi.

Once a Jedi, now their pursuer.

The Sith Knight had dreamt of this very day for a long time. To finally kill more Jedi. So far, he had only slain two among their ranks: his Master and a… friend. A handful of other souls had been snuffed out by his hand or blade since, but Nekrosis craved the moment when he would be able to add more Jedi to his body count.

Now, the wait was nearly over. He had been assigned to wait for Lord Xarxes' Zealots, who would be arriving soon. As he waited Nekrosis toyed with one of his lightsabers, currently disconnected from the other which rested on his belt. Within each of them were the kyber crystals that had once powered his Jedi Master's sabers. Soon, they would taste Jedi blood.

The wait was almost over.

The news of war brought the raven haired Zabrak back to the Empire, she had been on a long journey to right some wrongs. She had heard news of even her last apprentice falling from his grace back to learning. Much may have changed since her departure but now Darth Thana was ready to come back and join the fight. She wanted to try her hand to slaughter the jedi hiding out in the once temple of Coruscant.

The Zabrak observed her surroundings closely, the sight of smoking rubble all around. "Why would the jedi fight for ash?" She pondered to herself. "Would they rule in ash and smoke?" There was no peace here, but now there would certainly be more death and destruction. Her amethyst-colored eyes had a rage in them that had gathered a true yet controlled fire that burned. The ash filled the air around her as Thana adjusted her weapons and her armor almost as if she was awaiting a simple duel... yet this was no simple duel.

Two of her droids accompanied her on the ground of Coruscant. A shuffling black BD-23 droid with matching amethyst designs named Aiden adjusted itself on her back next her sith sword, peaking out from her hooded cape. The other was a floating black, gold and purple GHT droid who responded to Whiskey was near her as she paced to meet with the rest of the Sith called to aid here.

The Zabrak scanned around to find her old friend who had recently elevated rank while she was away. The expression on the master was that of a serious nature while she touched at her amulet that hung around her neck before tucking it in. Her thoughts stuck in the sight of this once bustling symbol of hope was foreshadowing what the hidden jedi had yet to understand... their blood shall soon bathe the grounds of ash that populated currently. The Dread Master tucked her amulet away into her armor as it touched her skin pressed securely.

Coruscant seem like the right place to unleash anarchy to take back what belonged to the Sith...

Rubble and destruction is all that is here, the Shistavanen Lord saw it all as he flew overhead in a transport shuttle. He came to this planet for one thing, the sweet bloodlust of war. Lord Jina'Tis has been in combat many times but this felt different, it felt like.... more. In a previous he was but an apprentice inexperienced in the heat of battle but now he was a Lord of the Sith, a master in the art of death and pain and he would show the Jedi a masterpiece.

Jina'Tis prepared himself, adjusting his armor and weapons. The lightsabers hanging on each side of his hips and the two vibro blades at the small of his back... He was ready. He stood at the open door of the shuttle as it flew his cloak and hood flapping and swaying in the wind when a voice came from a nearby intercom "we have reached the landing zone my Lord" said the shuttle pilot "I'll be setting down now" the shistavanen lord only showed a grin as his normally glowing haunting yellow eyes fluxed between their normal color to red and back, he pressed a button and spoke "No need, just hover here this is my exit". The shuttle was a good 20 feet from the ground as Jina'Tis threw off his hood and cloak and jumped... the wind rushed through his fur, as the ground came close he rolled feet down and used the force to slow himself and landed.

After a slight adjust to himself he walked to the forward command point, the rubble crunched under his feet and small scrapping from his claws on the stone. Jina'Tis at this point sensed something or rather say someone familiar he hasn't felt in quite some time... that's when he saw her, a raven haired Zabrak, it was his old rival and friend Darth Thana. As Jina'Tis came to her he spoke "well look at what the loth cat dragged in, I hope you come ready for battle old friend"

"Ah, you have arrived," spoke the battle-worn figure of Commander Threntel as he stepped up to the gathered Sith, Jina'sTis and Thana, Vesuvius and Nekrosis. "I was told there was another Sith Lady joining you, is there not? Lord Xarxes expects her presence here. Speaking of which…"

The Commander turned his red-tinted eyes towards the sky, seeing something which the other did not. Moments later, a shuttle pierced the smog hanging over the burning skyline, dark and sleek, and altogether unfamiliar to the gathered darksiders. The dagger-shaped vessel extended its landing gear, setting down between the gathered Sith Forces and the small collection of officers - namely the Sith. A whining hiss emanated from the shuttle as its boarding ramp was slowly lowered and three imposing individuals stepped forth.

They were dressed differently, though all in the same fashion. Dark pieces of armor, covered by tabards of crimson or porcelain, emblazoned with crosses of the opposite color. Cowls rested over their heads, covering their dark faces, which bore masks that pulled attention straight to their menacing, glowing eyes. On their wrists were curved blades of varying lengths, and at their waists were carried all manner of weaponry, though most notably each bore a broadsword composed of dark metal, and engraved with ancient Sith runes.

"My Lords," spake the Commander, bowing formally to the Zealots, "Lord Xarxes informed me of your imminent arrival. These Sith here will accompany you as they have been assigned. The troops stand ready to cajole the Jedi into revealing themselves, and to keep careful watch over the temple grounds. Furthermore, there is one additional Sith Lady en route. I am sure she will be a valuable asset to Lord Xarxes' designs."

The lead Zealot nodded to his two compatriots, with one of them activating something on his wrist. The rear of the shuttle they had flown in began to open, and a series of clicks and growls could be heard. If the gathered forces looked into the back of the ship, they would see three grown Drexl, fully saddled, chained in place and awaiting their masters.

Simultaneously, the gangplank behind the Zealots begin to fill with emerging figures clothed almost entirely in black, including the veils that masked their faces, save for the silver circlets that graced their heads. At their sides were boardswords, silvery lightsabers, and even some wielded lightsaber pikes. The Sith would recognise these well as Lord Xarxes' Hesperian Guard, his personal army under the Hesperian trifold military.

"Commander, our Lord has high expectations for the defense," one of the Zealots, stepping forward, intoned in devilish tone. "Our reports suggest numerous Jedi Masters among the lower ranks having escaped. While some of them will surely attempt to escape off-world, only to be cut off by Lord Xarxes' Tithonus, there will undoubtedly be others amid the fray, matching or exceeding even some of the Sith present here. We must act with tact, Commander."

"It shall be done," grunted the Commander, obviously displeased with the authoritative tone of the newcomers. Though threatening, he did not take well to the idea of Xarxes sending pets to assume charge of the situation.

Turning to the Sith, he began to assign them to areas of focus. Lord Jina'Tis and Nekrosis would accompany Zealot Sasano and a handful of Hesperian Guard, plus three Sith trooper specialists, to get behind enemy lines for a better scope of their actual gathered forces. Arach, when she arrived, would be partnered with both Darth Thana and Vesuvius on the frontlines, to operate with Zealot Harrvayn in holding the front lines. Commander Threntel and Zealot Retahn, meanwhile, would be manning the command post inside of the Jedi Temple, with a battalion of Sith Troopers and nearly a third of the Hesperian Guard being assigned to guard it. Even if they didn't take ground, they would not lose what they had taken already.

"Lord Xarxes himself will join us in time, once he has ensured that the blockade is secure," said Threntel, not betraying the stress in his voice as to the desperation for his arrival. "When he does, he will also join the front lines. For now, assemble in groups, load up, and make ready. We begin the smoke-out soon."

He prepared to step away, to focus on his own agenda, but a tugging thought coerced him to add:

"May the Force be with you all."

Arach slipped from the shuttle and scanned her surroundings, taking note of the Temple, her fellow Sith, and the good captain. She made her way around rubble and debris and came to a stop next to Threntel.
“Captain,” the assassin greeted, softly.

She turned her gaze down the ruined streets, feeling her bloodlust rise. She was anxious to get started.

Arach gritted her teeth in annoyance with the captain, but shoved it away. Now, was the time for Jedi blood.

Nekrosis' gaze was drawn mostly to the figures in red and white. He recalled having an outfit that would have matched perfectly with them. For the moment, he was wearing his black and red attire, to blend with the shadows more easily. Part of him wondered if there would be any chance to acquire similar gear from these individuals. Their weaponry alone made him a little envious.

When the Commander made the assignments, Nekrosis hoped he wasn't going to be limited to mere recon and report. The idea of going behind enemy lines was exciting, but he was looking forward to perhaps slaying a Jedi or two without anyone knowing before it was too late. Though, he knew better than to act on selfish impulse. He had orders, and he was going to follow them to the letter, to the best of his ability.

Death Knight Nekrosis extended his hidden blade, gazing at the words engraved into the metal, on either side of the blood bane groove. Words that he now whispered to himself:

"Live by the blade, die by the blade."

Outside of the Jedi Temple

As the Darth scanned the area for those who had also answered the call to lay their life in favor of the Empire, she had not seen her old friend's face. She did see a young looking red skinned male who she had not recognized much, he must have never seen battle much due to his attire. "Shame..." the Zabrak thought as he was donning what seemed like royal robes. Thana would guess Acolyte, perhaps new Apprentice if anything...

Another was a somewhat familiar face, although surprised to see him still living. Nekrosis, an assassin who must have been nervous as he fidgeted with his lightsaber like a young child...

Suddenly the all too familiar aura had creeped along the back of her neck... out if what seemed like nowhere she seen an Obsidian colored blur hit the floor out of the corner of her eye. Then the all too familiar tone followed "well look at what the loth cat dragged in, I hope you come ready for battle old friend".

A soft chuckle found it's way of the raven haired Zabrak as she turned to meet Jina'tis. "I see that mayhem has not taken you yet my old friend... I hear congratulations are in order as well for rising yet another rank. My Lord I have indeed come ready for battle, may all the blood of Jedi rain down on the grounds here..."

" I hope you're long journey has not made you rusty." The Shistavanen let out a deep hearty chuckle back. "I cannot have the jedi making us appear as fools..." Jina'Tis began to observe those around him as his primal instincts had taught him. His eyes fell upon the only other familiar face, Nekrosis. The Lord was hoping that he was ready for all that would happen here. His eerie yellow eyes fell on one who he had not known at all, a Sith species if he had to guess based upon his blood red skin and features.

Their conversation seemed to be interrupted by what appeared to be a battle-worn figure of a Commander based solely on his determiner and tone "Ah, you have arrived". As everyone turned to view him continuing to address the Sith " I was told there was another Sith Lady joining you, is there not? Lord Xarxes expects her presence here. Speaking of which…" his timing was all too perfect as the descent of a shuttle touched down. Stepping out were large figures donning emblazoned with crosses on dark armor. " Fascinating..." Thana thought as she listened to the rest of the instructions being given.

The Commander began to reveal their assigned posts as he named Jina'tis and Nekrosis to Infiltrate behind enemy lines. This had been slightly shocking given that the Shistavanen Lord had not truly been known as an assassin since his apprentice days. With all hope his Knight associate better not slow him down or get caught. The Lord would not shy away from what he has to do to achieve success in his mission.

Next was Thana being paired with this Lady Arach and Vesuvius? Who she could guess was the other sith gathered around, the frontlines was their post. A evil grin rose up Thana's face as she envisioned all that would soon unravel, for better or for worse. This Sith would be paired with the Zealots that stepped off the shuttle.

Thana turned to face Jina'tis "well this seems like our farewell Darth Jina'tis, May the Dark side be on your favor across enemy lines. Keep Shadow connected to Whiskey for aid or information" she pointed to her GHT droid behind her. "Farewell for now, i dont plan on falling this day" Jina'Tis said with a wicked grin "Shadow!" He spoke to his droid as it hummed over to him "Connect with Whiskey, create a data share" with that he gave a nod to Thana as he walks over to convene with his team.

Both droids hummed almost in unison as they began to sync up as directed by their masters. Thana turned to Acolyte, "Vesuvius I'm guessing? You seemed underdressed for the occasion... You better be prepared for the frontlines or have made your good byes before your arrival". Her tone cold as she locked eyes with the sneaky Darth Arach who she had not noticed when she arrived. She heard Arach seem to address her as she moved closer to her “Shall we begin?”

Thana smirkered as well replying "Of course..." as she placed her Crimson and Obsidian colored helmet upon her head, it matched the rest of her armor and concealed her identity as she pulled up her black and red hood.

Darth Jina'tis walks over to Nekrosis as he whispered to himself, something that the Darth had not cared to listen to "I do hope you're ready young knight, this shall be a challenge for sure." He said, he took a look at the Zealots and didnt bother to say a word as he figured they wouldn't respond anyway...

Nekrosis looked up only when Darth Jina'tis approached him. "You've no idea how much I've dreamt of this very opportunity, Lord," he replied to the Shistavanen. "Challenge or not, victory or death, I crave what is to come."

Years. That's how long Nekrosis had been waiting. And he would be damned if he let such an opportunity go to waste. He only hoped that if he did perish, it would be with a Jedi's blood on his blade.

The assassin allowed his blade to retract back into his sleeve, smiling at the Temple as he did so. "This is what I trained for."

The orders had been given and it was nearly time to move. Vesuvius surveyed the group attaching names to faces and nodding in respect to those above him. In response to Darth Thana he said, “I am Vesuvius. And there are many forms of preparation, Madam. I assure you that my blood will not spray on your armor.”
He turned to Commander Threntel and asked, “Where should we begin?”

Sasano, one of the faceless Zealots, motioned for Jina'Tis and Nekrosis to join him on the side. Unlike his compatriots, he was demarcated by a darker overall tone and longer claws hooking back on his forearms. At his side hung a pair of slightly shorter blades, as opposed to Harrvayn's greatsword. The figure looked at them both intently, not moving his invisible mouth, before words started to bombard both Sith's minds, instantly overtaking Nekrosis' and battering at Jina'Tis's mental shield.

"We will begin our approach by skirting half a kilometer beyond the district, before curving back inwards and taking them by surprise. We will lie in wait until the frontal assault forces them out. Do not speak, communicate only telepathically. We never know who is listening. Now, follow me. "

The Zealot turned, leading the Sith down the streets, through alleyways and under abandoned skyrails. Sasano displayed incredible agility, consistently performing elaborate, if a bit showy, parkour to traverse the rooftops and levels of the district, eventually reaching a dumpster site in a run-down street. Extending a hand, the Zealot shoved the dumpster aside, revealing a hidden room in the side of the building leading downwards.

"Follow me."

In the meantime, Commander Threntel and Zealot Retahn absconded from the meeting place, retreating towards the Jedi Temple to make ready the defenses. Harrvayn, in the meantime, turned to face the remaining Sith directly, staring them down, completely unintimidated by their superior--perhaps--use of the Dark Side and elevated status within the Order.

"While I do not claim hierarchy over you within the Order, I am here under Lord Xarxes' command as the ruling officer present. Formalities can be ignored. Obedience cannot be so. Disobedience to me is disobedience to the one who sent me, which he will most assuredly not tolerate. With that unpleasantry out of the way, down to business.

Darth Thana, I understand that you have some familiarity with warfare. I would like you to assist the field officers in ensuring we properly utilize our artillery before we engage with infantry troops. Lady Arach, I am told that you have been at the side of the Empress during many an unexpected encounter. My Lord should like to have you prepare a trap for when the Jedi inevitably show themselves. Use whatever resources are needed for this. It is important that we wait for the opportune moment. So long as we do not know their exact location, we are at a disadvantage.

Speaking of such an issue, Vesuvius, I would like you to work with surveillance at present. My Lord has informed me that he regrettably cannot do anything to perceive the enemy forces, so you are on your own.
"

However, as those words passed from Harrvayn's mouth, a much more sinister voice rapped at everyone's minds in the vicinity. "
Our Lord sends for reinforcements as we speak to smoke out the Jidai vermin."

IC: Darth Drakul Xarxes
Aboard the Tithonus

High above the skies of Coruscant, in the middle atmosphere, the daggerlike Tithonus stood as a monolith against those attempting to escape the planet below. Over half a dozen Jedi transports had been shot down since the blockade had formed, and even now, the fighters kept as complements to the Super Star Destroyer were flying below, engaging the straggling Jedi and Federation fighters that had dared attempt to halt the blockade.

Viewing from the command deck windows, the stalwart figure of Drakul Xarxes remained almost motionless, his Mqaaq'it darting back and forth between individual dogfights and the occasional laserfire, including from two notable accompanying vessels: the Dreadfire and his Naglfar. Thus far, the excursion was going well, and Coruscant would be theirs by day's end.

And yet, despite all of the pieces falling into place, a new revelation had disturbed him. While peering through his third eye within the freedom of his Meditation Chamber, Xarxes had glimpsed the powerful presence of the Grandmaster, Kei Durron. A man of antiquity and wisdom, Durron was not one that Xarxes had any wish to confront, but that seemed a more and more likely scenario with each passing moment.

When he had first found out, Xarxes had not been worried. In fact, he had made preparations to glass the Temple Distract, annihilating all in the vicinity, both friend and foe. But before it could be done, the Empress had forbidden it.

She had a reason. The Temple being taken would be as much a symbolic victory over the Jedi, to say nothing of the rest of the galaxy. Though symbols are not valuable in and of themselves, there was no denying the impact the dominion of this symbol would have galaxy-wide implications. So Xarxes had switched tactics, attempting to outmaneuver Grandmaster Durron while obeying the Empress. Surely, there was no way for him to do this without any inkling from Durron, but distraction might be able to divert his attention sufficiently and whittle down the Jedi forces, leaving Kei alone in the end. Regardless of who won or lost that day, Kei would never be able to rebuild the Order if he were left alone, not against an army of Sith.

At least, so was the rationale for why Xarxes did this presented to his constituents. In truth, he wanted to confront the Grandmaster, to peer into the reasons why someone as powerful as he had chosen the Jedi in the end. He wanted to know, and he needed there to be no other distractions.

He had a few in mind.

"Na'hir, you are a hard woman to reach," spake the Nightfather, growling softly into the automatic receiver on the other end of the holocommunicator. "I trust you would be up for a job worth far beyond the usual rate, for the target is far beyond usual.

I have some pests on Coruscant, Temple District, in the Crimson Corridor, that need extermination, but to do this well, I must know their habits and secrets and prevent them from using weapons of their own against me. Conveniently, I hear that Arkanian bio-weapons and reconnaissance technology are perfect for the job, so I've done you the liberty of providing those for you in a safety deposit box on Muunhilinst.

If you can complete this task perfectly, I'll have an additonal prize waiting for you, something to help you evade those pesky Federation monitors.

Your assignment is to set up surveillance and, ideally, to find the center of operations for the Jedi in the district, whether it be a secret hole in the ground or an indivisible vessel. Regardless, I need the location to be smoked out. That is where the bio-weapons come in. As for the grenades, use them to set off their munitions against them. It takes from them to give to us. I'm sure you see the line of thought I have.

And yes, I did say Jedi. Be aware. And do try not to get caught. It would be embarrassing for both of us
."

Bzzzzt! The communication was cut.

Nekrosis pulled his own mask up, now covering his face up to just under his eyes, before following the Zealot. His own parkour was less showy, but well practiced. Before his mansion had undergone its major repair and renovations, it had been a ruin perfect for practicing this kind of agility. Every fall and occasional injury taught him what not to do, so he could improve the next attempt, until he barely even thought when leaping, climbing, and running through the castle's skeleton.

All that practice paid off now, though the metal was certainly different than stone and decaying wood. A part of Nekrosis recalled that the was his homeworld, though it held no special significance to him. Until now. Today, it was a battlefield, and he was a part of the latest war between the Jedi and Sith. Beneath his mask, he smiled, and allowed at least one slightly unnecessary front flip in celebration.

Once a Jedi, now their pursuer, he repeated to himself in his mind.f25cc695-10ac-4aec-8e1d-5237e366b481~2.jpg

esuvius listened to Harrvayn as he gave a strict warning followed by their instructions. He had been tasked with surveillance of the enemy. He had sought out and tracked enemies before. But never anything like this. To Harrvayn he said, "Where should I begin?"

The Zealot known as Sasano, motioned to the sith pair ,Jina'Tis and Nekrosis, to join him off to the side of the group. As Jina'Tis moved to him he felt a familiar sting of mental speak in his head, he lowered his defense and heard the voice of who he assumed was the Zealot "We will begin our approach by skirting half a kilometer beyond the district, before curving back inwards and taking them by surprise. We will lie in wait until the frontal assault forces them out. Do not speak, communicate only telepathically. We never know who is listening. Now, follow me. "

With that Jina'Tis gave a nod and watched as the Zealot and Nekrosis made their way with an impressive display of acrobatics. Jina'Tis using the memories and training of being a former form 4 practitioner, he made his way along side with them perhaps not as good as them but then again this type of movement was not the style of the Dread Lord.

It was when they reached what looked like a dumpster the group stopped, with a hand motion from the Zealot Sasano the dumpster moved to reveal a hidden entrance. The Dread Lord could hear the words of Nekrosis in his head but sighed then took a deep breath and gave a grin before moving forward and all he said in his mind was "so it begins"

Darth Thana watched as the two sith given the task of sneaking beyond the lines to gain intel on the jedi. Good hopefully those still on the front lines receive all the knowledge they need to crush the opposing side. If the dark side willed it then all would return but is it ever truly the case if some are weak...

She watched as they strolled away with their Zealot and the Hesperian guards. Her face motioned towards Zealot Harrvayn as he spoke her name "Darth Thana, I understand that you have some familiarity with warfare. I would like you to assist the field officers in ensuring we properly utilize our artillery before we engage with infantry troops."

He continued on to task the other two sith still standing here with their jobs on the front lines. Once he had finished she had walked forward to approach him, until a sinister voice rapped her mind. Gritting her teeth as she heard "Our Lord sends for reinforcements as we speak to smoke out the Jidai vermin."

Thana took in a deep breath and asked the Zealot "How many troops are we working with here? What are the weapons they carry and who has any experience in a warzone?" Her questions would probe the intel she needed aid the field officers in utilizing their artillery in the best possible way. Her spherical droid followed her every move until she turned to it. "Whiskey I need a visual map of the temple, and place markers of our troop location as well as any intel we gather from the acolyte on surveillance. A visual would aid us in tracking down the location so that Lady Arach can better spring her trap."

The droid would download the layout of the temple shining a map of the temple now accounting for damage. Their different loactions would shine a color as she gathered information of troop numbers and the different sith their. If any jedi gave away their location they would appear a light blue color. Her droid would gather any Jedi locations from Lord Jina'tis' droid along the way since they were synced beforehand.

The field officers would need to prove their worth here or die since the jedi would be like cornered animals ready to take life. Her attention would fall on any field officers as she kept Commander Threntel and Zealot Retahn in mind as Superior officers that she could hopefully rely on. Here they need to stay on their toes and be ready for anything.

The Tunnels

As the armored figure led both Lord and Apprentice down the hidden stairwell and into the tunnels, he continued to probe for signs of life. The tunnels underneath Coruscant, reminiscent of the older transportation systems, had been abandoned in the Crimson Corridor, and circulation in many places apart from here and been abandoned once the Sith invaded not so long ago. They would be of use now in getting behind the enemy lines.

"Be cautious," ethereal whispers called to those following. "The Jedi could very well have done the same as us in populating this location. The long way will aid us, but it is not foolproof.

Our troops above, the specialists in particular, are even now positioning themselves to fire from unseen positions, picking off any Jedi or soldier they spot. Soon, we will coordinate our attack with theirs. While the Jedi undoubtedly have great numbers, the majority of their generals, we have surmised, are not present in this sector.

We have three-thousand troops at our disposal. What could such a force not accomplish in this small arena of war?"

The whispers halted. The path before them opened into a great expanse of dark, seemingly-endless tunnels. If any of them probed the Force, they would sense that they were not alone, though not in any real danger.

"Careful now, there could be anything in these tunnels. The underbelly of Coruscant comes alive when sentient beings cease to tread."

Outside The Jedi Temple

Harrvayn first directed his attention to Vesuvius, for a moment impatient that he had not simply inferred what he desired. "The Corridor district, Vesuvius. You are surely capable of using the Force to feel out the presence of others, are you not? Any great concentration of bodies can be sensed with ease, and the range is relatively close. If you really need it, use what surveillance technology the scouts carry with them.

As for our troops,
" he said, turning to Darth Thana, "of our two-thousand-five-hundred regiment, over two-thirds are infantry. We have four hundred heavy weapons specialists, two hundred sniper specialists, forty officers, fifty scouts, and one hundred Hesperian Guard. In addition, we have fifty mobile artillery units and thirty standing cannonry. I am certain that you can make use of some of these in beginning your search for the Jedi, while I take to the skies with parts of our aerial force, numbering one hundred and fifty of our total forces. If we soar high enough, we shall spot the Jedi be able to evade any attack they unleash, most assuredly."

Harrvayn gave a strange sort of whistle, and a hideous screech could be heard in the distance. From the back of the transport he had arrived in, a great black creature shuffled forth, outstretching its wings before flapping over hurriedly. Harrvayn leapt without so much as a moment of hesitation, meeting the saddled beast in the air without it stopping. As he soared on, Thana, Arach, and Vesuvius would all watch as a couple of dozen figures bearing jetpacks joined the Zealot in the air, flying high above the distract, searching for Jedi prey.

As the Zealot lead the sith down a stairwell to a dark tunnel, Jina'Tis could only notice at first a strong odor similar to the stench of stale air. As the words from the Zealot once again pierced into Jina'Tis mind "Be cautious, The Jedi could very well have done the same as us in populating this location. The long way will aid us, but it is not foolproof.

Our troops above, the specialists in particular, are even now positioning themselves to fire from unseen positions, picking off any Jedi or soldier they spot. With that Jina'Tis felt his eyes adjust to the low light, he was able to see as if it were in the day light. Shadow, the Droid of Jina'Tis hovered just above the right shoulder of the shistavanen, having activated his cloak he was ready to follow any orders given.

Sniffing the air, the Lord attempted to determine if the area was clear before using the force to do the same... as he did he could feel some sort of beings but couldn't say who or what they were. To the others mind he communicated "I sense something, unclear what it is but we are not alone."

Outside of the Jedi Temple

Thana listened as the Zealot explained the acolyte's job of surveillance until she heard him direct his next instructions to her.

As for our troops," he said, turning to Darth Thana, "Of our two-thousand-five-hundred regiment, over two-thirds are infantry. We have four hundred heavy weapons specialists, two hundred sniper specialists, forty officers, fifty scouts, and one hundred Hesperian Guard. In addition, we have fifty mobile artillery units and thirty standing cannonry. The Dread Master made no movement to speak as she watched him fly into the air joining the jet pack wearing soldiers on an amazing beast. Her attention turned to the soldiers after reviewing the soon to be battle field as her voice seemed to boom in her helmet " Men! Gather around! I need you all into positions, I want those Jedi scum found and killed! Keep alert and radio back if anything stands out. You are all dismissed!"

The Dread Master took focus on Lady Arach to see if she needed any troops for her task as well as the Acolyte. He seemed unsure of how to gather surveillance of the area. Her eyes hidden behind her helmet as she stepped forth to view the holo map of the temple in it's current condition. She hopped that dots would begin to move around, keeping an eye on the dot of Lord Jina'tis as his droid kept them tracked.

"Soon... the scum will surface. Trapped like animals will make them unpredictable..." The Zabrak began to mutter to herself unintentionally out loud.
