White Bantha Gift Exchange

In a cozy little ice-cabin deep in the frigid wilderness of Khar Delba, Darth Hesper sat, curled up upon a sofa draped with sumptuous furs. Before her, a fire roared in a wide fireplace, and the shaggy hide of a wampa covered the cold floor. She held in her hands a steaming beverage-- hot chocolate, of course-- and she was swaddled in a divinely cozy blanket. Atop the wampa rug was a pile of wrapped gifts with sparkling bows and baubles on them... all she awaited now were those who would come unwrap these holiday gifts!

To celebrate this forum's third anniversary, I, Empress Hesper, am graciously hosting a creative and unusual gift exchange-- a White Bantha! The Dark Council has supplied a collection of unique gifts you can't find anywhere else in the galaxy; all we need are ten participants. Reply to this thread IC, arriving at the Khar Delba cabin, to participate in this event. Slots are limited, so get on it!

~ Event Rules ~​

This gifting game is just like a White Elephant gift exchange-- read the rules of this particular event below!

1. All gifts will be assigned a letter (A-J).
2. Participants will be randomly assigned a number (1-10), and this is the order the game will proceed in. 1 goes first, 2 second, etc.
3. Each participant will pick one gift as their number is called; they can either pick from the wrapped gifts pile and unwrap their selection, or steal an unwrapped gift from a previous participant. If a participant's gift is stolen, they may make the same choice and either pick something new from the wrapped gift pile, or steal from another player.
4. Each gift may only be stolen THREE TIMES. After a gift's third steal, it is frozen, and can no longer be stolen!
5. Participant 1 has the opportunity to make a steal once all 10 participants have gone.

Orario Starwind feels a pull to a cabin that has been dormant for a while. He notices light flickering from within and heads towards it. He slowly walks up to the door and knocks on it and waits to see what happens.

IC Apprentice Nightwalker
Location: Khar Delba Cabin

The young apprentice was intrigued to hear of a festive seasonal event. The frigid cold air biting at his clothing as he walked up to the cabin. Nightwalker was smart to always be aware of his surroundings.

Mytro was unsure of who he would see here, he wasn't the most social among his peers. He was lucky that his face was shielded from the frosty air, he hoped that there would be something to warm him up.

He would kneel to the Imperatrix as such is required and drilled into him once he made it inside the warmth of the cabin door.

IC: Death Knight Nekrosis, Soldier of Venom
Location: Khar Delba Cabin

When Nekrosis had heart of the gift exchange, he had debated not going. Some thought, however, reminded him of his recent goal to improve himself and his arsenal. Perhaps he might get a weapon, or something that could be used to upgrade one of his weapons. In the end, curiosity urged him to attend, and so he found himself in a wonderfully cold environment and approaching an inviting cabin.

For the occasion, he dressed in his white and red coat, one of his favorites. Once inside, he nearly didn't recognize the Empress, not expecting to see Her in such a... cozy state. But there was no mistaking Her eyes, and he dropped to one knee the moment he noticed Her.

"Hail the Empress Hesper!" he said with reverence and respect, then waited to be granted permission to rise and take a seat.

There was fashionably late, then there was just being annoying. The hood of an avian animal peeked its straight through the cabin wall, outlined with birdlike patterns and ornaments. The mouth beneath the beak grinned, as its owner entered.
‘Hail to the Imperatrix Hesper.’

Location: Khar Delba Cabin

Cygnus didn’t possesses a full understanding of what a gift exchange
was. Certainly there where gifts in the society he came from, yet they were rare occurrences that happened between allies and loved ones.

He found himself increasingly bewildered that for the past month; gifts where each exchanged freely. As word would have it, that was the nature of the event he was attending now. Out of sheer cursorily of learning the culture he traveled to the winter cloaked location.

He was ill prepared for the cold, but glad of the thick black fur coat and combat boots his boyfriend gifted to him. They indeed came in handy when the cold became burdensome.

The inside of the cabin radiated with the warmth of a fire. The basic word for this warmth was “cozy”. The raven on his shoulder flew in a eager arc to warm its feathers beside the fire.

Cygnus bowed deeply to the Empress, and his Master.
